You should try some of these, i wouldnt really call Undercover ps2/wii bad. Its stiol fun and if you never played it but liked Most Wanted and Carbon then you will love it. Even if its a bit undercooked. Still better than PC version of it. Mainly thanks to Carbon/MW05 physics.
The handling sucked ass and you could cheese the game by wall grinding 90% of track, really wasn’t that good. Pretty sure it’s just impossible to have decent car controls in the frostbite engine, even the crew was better.

tbh when i was a kid back then, i loved this game on the wii. As a 10-11yr old kid, you really dont care about the gameplay, and having these events like jumping that broken bridge were actually really fun. When i saw that scene in your Video, it gave me goose bumps because of the memories that came up with the game. It might be one of the worst need for speeds, but it still managed to be fun for my 10yr old underdeveloped brain :D

The guy who made some Iron Man soundtracks also made the The Run (the original one) soundtrack. Mick Gordon created the World soundtrack. Those 2 are some of the best original compositions in the franchise and I would recommend checking them out. I'm weirded out they didn't take top talent again for the payback soundtrack, since they wanted to do an "epic" game again (damn that one sucked though)

No, the car sounds used for this games are mainly from NFS Shift 1-2. The Porsche 918 RSR used the Gallardo sound which was used for the Carrera GT in NFS Shift 1-2. For the main version they used a F6 Porsche sound which they re-used from NFS World but the Carrera GT sound is from NFS HP 2010 because Black Box took sounds from Criterion. Also at 8:15 this sounds nothing like NFS UG2. It sounds like NFS UC's nis_sky_c or more exactly almost the same as the PC version of the game. But the modified T6 version uses Acura NSX sound like the T4/T5 200SX.

The original The Run is probably one of the better games in the series, to me at least. Streamlined, short, charming, fun, doesn't overstay it's welcome. Never played the Wii one, but it looks really cheap (budget-wise)
I got nfs undercover for wii and this game too when i was like 6 (i'm 13 now), and i still have them, but the undercover one is scratched and doesn't work
The worst? I don't know. My very very first introduction to NFS was Most Wanted ON DS. And obviously, the 3DS version just did being on 3DS comes across much better. Well about the Run, I wish there was a choice of cars in the arcade mode, that is pretty short, but it still was one of the best 3DS racing games
I dont think that reusing sounds and other elements is really a problem at all. It can be good and is mainly a reason why PS2/Wii Undercover is more fun thsn PC/'next gen console' versions. Because its trusty Carbon modified with interesting handling and beta content and heavily remixed map from Most Wanted. Musi playing in freeroam and menues and races unlike Carbon(where it was almost always the same composed tracks for street races) and unique 4 player split screen, when main Undercover had nothing aside of online MP made for very good experience. And Wii nfs games were very last games in the series to even feature splitscreen multiplayer. I do agree these were still undercooked games but still much better than some knock off racing games imitating NFS at the time.
It's a problem when a company sells you one game and you get a game made with scraps from other games; specially when you don't even get a trailer for it! It's like buying a new phone, getting a worst one and saying "I liked my old phone anyways" Of course, it doesn't make the main version any better either and as I said in the Undercover video, I didn't even care too much as a kid, but I knew there was something wrong about it I agree about the split screen and all, features that should be on the other one!

I had more fun with the cover art than with the actual game, so I kept the box in my backpack for the longest time because it was too cool to throw away, but even as a kid, I felt like this didn't deserve to stay at my house.
I didn't play the Wii version, but I did play the 3DS version when I was younger. For the 3DS, it was a good game on a system where racing games were a somewhat rare sight. I was always fascinated with the story, especially since I was never fond of the one in every other version. Heck, I'd argue it's better.

As for the car sounds you mentioned; you're technically correct for what they sounded like; they are in fact the sounds for the Carrera GT and R34 Skyline in the Shift games.

One of my favourite part of Wii version of The Run is at one point of the story, the protag managed to take down a flying helicopter WITH A GODDAMN GOLF CLUB. It's hilarious yet so awesome i can't even be mad at it.

This game was probably designed for kids because of all the "hErOiC" stunts and the fact that it was for the wii and having played it a lot when i was like 10, i can confidently say it 100% worked, i had so much fun playing it even though its pretty bad
The 3DS version is pretty much exactly the same but much better because it’s handheld. The fact it looks almost as good and has all the same content as a handheld game in 2011 was decent.
Even the 3DS build had somewhat better graphics e.g. specular highlights on road surface. The "heroic" stuff is clearly a gimmick too.

Well you see, this game was made for the 3DS and ported to the Wii. As far as I know this is the only game that was ever ported from the 3DS to the Wii.
I play the Wii I play this game it's just as fun as any other game. Do you think you're doing everybody a favor by telling them not to buy a game that cost $10? The 3DS version is pretty much exactly the same but much better because it’s handheld. The fact it looks almost as good and has all the same content as a handheld game in 2011 was decent.
Even the 3DS build had somewhat better graphics e.g. specular highlights on road surface. The "heroic" stuff is clearly a gimmick too.
Well you see, this game was made for the 3DS and ported to the Wii. As far as I know this is the only game that was ever ported from the 3DS to the Wii.

I play the Wii I play this game it's just as fun as any other game. Do you think you're doing everybody a favor by telling them not to buy a game that cost $10? You're going to deny people the joy of playing a video game because you think you're going to save them $10? Are you going to give us suggestions on how we should spend all those $10 that we saved? All you do is cheat people out of the enjoyment that comes from playing a stupid game that only cost $10.
Haha I'm flattered that you believe my opinion on a game will change people's lives that much, but my videos are for entertainment purposes! I won't and (definitely couldn't even) stop people from buying a game, it's their money and their decision!

I can't believe the developers who made this went from decent Need For Speed, Trackmania, NASCAR and other ports to make a paid 'pay to play' dungeon-like game which looks trash and is even on Nintendo Switch (I thought Nintendo had high standards!)
