I live in Baker County. Stay away cause you won’t like it!
🤣
😂😂😂
trust me no ones going to a county where you can't even buy weed still
Odds are they really won’t! Stay away from Joseph area as well!
@@derqatarzan4207 Don’t need the low life riff-raff in Joseph that’s for sure. Screwed up their state and wants to do the same here in Baker.
We are not "empty" we are totally full to capacity. Do not come here... you are not welcome...stay away...seriously!
That's what we Idahoans say, too. Stay away!
I grew up in Eastern Oregon and wouldn't change it for the world
I wouldn't either. One of my favorite places on earth!
no ones trying to change it
I spent a few years in eastern Washington and you can have that.
@@Tokomiyeah they are, there is people with 2 iq trying to force us to join Idaho 😂😂
The High desert is a terrible place to live. Whatever you do, don’t move here.
I here California is a nice place to live.
🤣🤥
@@BuyingSouthernOregon just a little misdirection… 😶
Californians move to eastern Oregon, a beautiful place and avoid the severe Idaho winters.
@@user-sk7zc1fc5u Hey!!! Don’t try and confuse people. Oregon and Idaho are both horrible places to live and raise a family. The winters are unbearable and the wildlife is far too dangerous… they should consider Texas. Texas is an amazing place to live.
@@scottallen5269 I agree. People should move to Texas. Oregonians, move to my state, if you wish but don't bring all of your friends with you, and don't bring your brand of conservatism with you. Leave it where you came from. Texas is waiting with open arms.
Nyssa here, we live about a stones throw away from the Idaho border, and it’s great!
I live in Union County. And I'm 100% with the guy form Baker County.
Everything in Oregon and Washington revolves around the western part of the state especially along the I-5 corridor from Bellingham,WA to Medford,OR.
Everything in Idaho revolves around Boise.
I grew up in John Day, and still live in NE Oregon. There is a lot here, especially distance!
My mom was from Burns, spent many weekends showing us kids her favorite places. I love it there, I just can't take the cold winters. I moved from crowded Mt Hood area to Southern Oregon. Nice and quiet, just what I want.
Everyplace in this country will have something you don't like about it, I chose for the weather. People are the same the world over, some are A holes and some are nice. 😊
Cool video. I am a photographer from the Salem area who loves central Oregon. I am heading from the southern coast to the Steens and north from there this summer. I tend to do the northern 2/3 and not the southerm parts, so that is my focus.
Thanks for sharing.
That's awesome! Make sure you stop by the Fields Station for a burger when you're going through Steens and the Alvord desert. Thanks for watching!
I hope people love there so much that they will give up the idea of moving the border. But when I went to Mt. Vernon, John Day, Baker City, Pendleton, Prineville, I never saw all this beauty.
@@user-sk7zc1fc5u I just got back from my trip that ended up being entirely east of the mountains, and I saw beauty everyday. Not only the expansive landscapes, but lakes, mountains, and even a waterfall in the desert, and also deer (and one with two new fawns), pronghorn (and one with a fawn), bald and golden eagles, cranes, ibis, rattlesnake, wild horses, and so much more.
@@user-sk7zc1fc5u We don’t want to be progressive hear in E.Oregon. We are going to move the border and separate from Salem.
Hermiston Or here. Some of us don't like the big city. This little town suits us just fine.
I actually did a large project at Rajneesi land, now Washington Family Ranch. It's an AMAZING part of Oregon. Watch the video... you will be glad you did.
Great video Bryan. I know the entire story of Rajnish's so it was quite nostalgic to see you adding that.
Thanks! It was definitely an interesting time. That documentary I mentioned is with seeing if you haven't watched it. 👍👍
Don't eat the salad bar!! 😂
Why nobody lives in Eastern Oregon? Because the State is centrally controlled from Salem. They set the zoning for the whole state. Oregon doesn't like business, and doesn't encourage incentives for business to relocate there. As a native of Oregon, whose ancestors arrived in 1862, Oregon is considered the Mississippi of the West, very backwards, and not business friendly or progressive.
My grandparents live in malheur county, as someone who lives in Seattle it’s very different out there but very cool
North Lake County!
Cayuse land, so beautiful it’s worth fighting for
I haven't really been to Eastern Oregon. I want to check it out someday, especially Wallowa County.
It's a beautiful part of the country for sure.
@@BuyingSouthernOregon If you like cold winters.
Visit Burns, Oregon. If you like Bishop, California, you'll love Burns.
@@user-sk7zc1fc5u I haven't been to either.
@@user-sk7zc1fc5uWinters really aren’t that cold here. Mild negatives, not much snow.
I live in Crook County. Frankly, its wonderful here.
Sssshhhh...let's keep that to ourselves.
Honestly the Blue tongue disease has wiped out white tail deer. I see them coming back but there are very few fawns. Coyotes population has grown quite a bit.
People live there, and they don't want neighbors...
There is no Love's truck stop in Riley 🤣
Who said it was a Love's? lol
@@BuyingSouthernOregon It's your video correct? What is the name of the truck stop in the video right after you mentioned gas station? Come on, you can read?
I’ve spent time there. I like it! Eastern Oregon counties are asking to join Idaho. I understand, but it’ll never happen
I hope it will never happen. We don't need more desert.
Away from the hustle and bustle and the fast-paced life. You wouldn't stay in the eastern part of the state if you didn't want to be and they really don't want anybody moving over there. Bend Oregon is probably a terrible place because all the people from California moved over there.
I live out here and I'm a liberal democrat and I'm not alone , I'm glad it isn't Idaho. I love it here I'm not into cities.
I'm glad you love it! It's a beautiful area. Thank you for watching the channel! 🙏
I'm sort of a liberal independent and I live in Idaho. No one gives me any guff.
Those Democratic run cities get ruined, people move out to rural areas and keep voting Democrat.🙄
@@user-sk7zc1fc5u They will. Idaho is just getting started with MAGA fascism.
@@jamesandres6312 But MAGA fascism is found only in north Idaho. I live in a laid back section of Idaho, although I did have some computer work done in a MAGA camp in my county.
Nothing there, don't go
I live in Harney County. Stay away, you won't like it here.
Why would anyone want to move to a place where even that whole region wants to leave Oregon?
If it becomes part of Idaho, I will move there.
Move to idaho
@@Chic_Ken I already live in Idaho, but I would like to live in Eastern Oregon only if becomes part of Idaho.
@@opencarry3860Don't let politics dictate your life, go have fun and enjoy it.
Then go move to dipshit idaho then. Signed an Idahoan thats leaving. Imagine if weed being legal or not dictates your move. Have to be a GOP brainwashed boomer
The state of oregon will never let the east go, just move to Idaho or Alabama!!!!
I was born and raised in NE Oregon, (Pendleton to Hermiston). Personally hate tourists. The intruders from western oregon and california are starting to move here. Unfortunately they are bringing their extreme liberal ideas with them, creating a drug addict , homeless atmosphere to my home.
No.
There are no real jobs in eastern Oregon. And lack of industry.
you forgor coyotes ,tweakers, over conservative white folks with guns and the seasonal riff raff , plenty of each , remember those hills have eyes, spoken from eastern Oregon experience. the area is pretty just don't go out after dark
Over conservative white folks with guns. 🤣. That’s one reason I moved to Southern Oregon. MAGA!
The rest of what you described sounds like Portland. You can have it…..
@@SaabAholicwhat you are saying makes no sense
Do you live urban?
Been in Malhuer. The locals were not happy will those idiots not leaving peacefully
