    Here is a summary:
    1) Proper sleep (as outlined in Matthew Walkers book Why We Sleep)
    2) Consistent exercise, preferably outside in nature
    3) Learn to relax eg. Meditation, learning how to breath (slow relaxed)
    4) Improve your food and diet with dark leafy greens (spinach, kale etc) preferably organic, broccoli. Also, nutrient dense whole grains,
    Quinoa, steel cut organic oatmeal, berries (blueberries and blackberries especially).
    5) Oily fish at least once a week. Smaller fish are better (sardines are better than tuna). Organic, free range poultry (NOT factory farmed)
    6) Avoid processed sugary foods as much as possible.
    7) One glass of wine a day is OK
    Thanks Bob and Brad - you are doing a great job!

    A ketogenic diet helps as does high doses of fish oil. I went from not being able to walk or talk after a brain aneurysm rupture to working full time now.

    • @kathyfaulk710
      @kathyfaulk710 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely agree! Joint pain goes away, more alert, more energy, and you lose weight in the bargain. I've been amazed. It may be that it's all from eliminating sugar in all its forms from the diet including starches (that turn into sugar immediately).

    • @Weesson

      Saturated fat is gonna worsen your health. Keto is bad for anyone’s health

    • @kathyfaulk710
      @kathyfaulk710 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@Weesson Yeah, that's what they've been telling us since the 60s. But back then the way to health was a nice steak and some veggies. It was the increasing use of sugar and the promotion of pasta as a replacement for real food that caused all kinds of health problems. And the vegetable oils - terrible thing to eat.

    • @dannyspitzer1267
      @dannyspitzer1267 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Weesson correct. Keto is not good long term. One only has to look at the hierarchy of evidence to see that.

    • @Weesson
      @Weesson 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kathy Faulk process sugar, yes. As far as the steak: Animal products promote inflammation and arterial plack. People are getting sick because of eating animals products as the majority of their diet, then as well as process foods.
      I don’t see a keto diet treating/reversing heart diseases better than caldwell esselstyn work, which is a whole foods plant base diet, no oil.
      Even bob and brad couldn’t name a vegetable which is kinda saying something. People forgot how/what it truly means to be healthy.

    Hi, I'm a cannabis user who just quit about last week and I have been struggling with memory loss, decrease in focus and concentration. I can barely hold onto any details when I have conversations. Someone will tell me something that they said to me earlier in the day and I will be at complete astonishment that I don't remember it at all. I'm very worried about my mental health and more importantly, my ability to focus and concentrate on conversations and being able to hold information. I would like to know if these steps will help and if there are any exercises to help this?

    I have a question about NARM. I have cptsd, abuse amnesia/dissociation, anxiety, and depression. I've been in sessions for 2 months. My therapist starts out by asking what I want for myself, then has me talk about what I'm going through, with the pauses to sit with the feelings. Just when I am the most emotional and upset and at the topmost branch of the trauma tree, the session ends, he recaps what happened and it's over. I'm left with all the feelings and flooding and no way to get back down, no direction or guidance. Then I take a shower and nap, start dissociating/forgetting the session, and am very sensitive and extra reliant on my service dog for a few days. Is that how NARM is supposed to go?

People with apoe4 genetics do not naturally detox mercury. Apoe4 folks are also 3-10x more likely to develop AD.

    I like how you threw the book on the floor at the end. Like it was a piece of trash. Her lifes work and you just tossed it. Good information but disrespectful to throw it away like that.

    Nonsense...completely. trying to mixup ayurvedic principles in their names cleverly.
    1.From years together in Indian sleeping outside at roof area. 2. Cleverly adopted hindu pranayam and digested in wrong way to make people fool.
    3. Hindu are 100% fresh veggies from thousands of year until western started making wrong advertising ...much more like....now people should know power of vedic sanskrit which these guys are stealing and digestining to label it something of their own....how wrong it is.

    I am dementia.
    I born with this stupid curse, uncurable pain.
    I always will forget everything, even after I done things
    My parents continue to insult me, no matter what I done.
    Scream.
    Yell.
    It's a pain that I can't move anywhere. I'm being slave. I'm being animal
    but I'm human. I want to become psychopath now because of them.
