Great Video! I was there in Saturday and went up the South Fork. Launched out of Browns and that was a mistake. Way too busy and not enough docks. Was able to land 6 total with a 2.5 smallmouth in there. Going to try the dam area like you did. I have never tried that area.

Thats awesome man. 2.5 smallie is a good smallie. 👍. I went to the Dam on Friday and got to close, the Sheriff yelled at me on their PA system hahahaha. I got 4 off the dam, a kayaker next to me got 3 or 4 and another bass boat caught a couple too. Been fun crankin that area.

The other video the wind report was Windy as F. Now its like glass. I was on a camping trip as a scout leader and I did come across a porn shoot. "These people are stupid. Thats probably my kid up there." Freaking hysterical. I imagine that the bottom of that lake is super rocky and hard.

Man this lake is just a wind tunnel 80% of the time so having it glass was a rare treat. Hahahaha thats hilarious about stumbling on a shoot, has yet to happen to me. 😂😂. There are rock piles underwater all over the place, boulders too which makes it super scary cause they can pop up a couple hundred yards off shore. Luckily the State Parks guys are on that lake every single day marking areas like that. Thanks as always for the view/comment. I plan on catching up on yours today/tomorrow too!!!!

Actually it wasn't that bad watching you catch fish out of one of my holes. Hahaha
This time of year they are everywhere. I do well with a Ned rig and drop shot in those same trees. I haven't cranked them yet. Good job.

Hahaha. I’ve been fishing those trees since 1992 when the water comes up. That huge boulder, currently in the water by the last set of trees on the Johnny Cash trail is one of my favorite spots on the lake. Pulled several 4’s and a few 5’s outta there over the years before I had my boat. I used to throw floating worms around those trees and do well. Think i’ll throw some of those next week. Thanks for watchin and commenting 👏 👏

So you remember those flat slab rocks? Before they changed it and ruined a great spot. Actually, they destroyed a few good spots. LOL
      Many 4 to 6 pounders.
Back then it was more large mouths then small mouths by far.

@@Alive-and-fishingyah its crazy how the Lake has changed. Now spots rule Folsom too. I spent most my years there on shore, around the marina at Browns, on the banks by Rattlesnake and of course the trees from Dyke 8 to the Dam. Shoot, I used to park on the overlook at the Dam and walk down and fish for catfish there at night a long long time ago.
