Any advice on what to throw through those thermoclines? I tried a swimbait and a 10xd but nothing. That wasnt working so I went and found structure at the thermocline depth and started picking them up.
Hahahahah! Damn Dennis LOL. I did get a few there throwing at that isolated tree to the right of me. I really didn’t start doing well until I hit that island in front of Hobie Cove. The fish were hammering a drop shot there. As always, good to talk to you!
Man that tree in the back of browns is in like a foot of water now. Ive been out twice after the times I saw you and lost a biggun 1 day, im guessin around 4lbs and then then next time out got a 3 on a jig and lost one about 3 on a windblown point on a spinnerbait. Got some smaller ones too. Im sure ill see you out there again. Tight lines man.
@@proambass8027 You bet. I’m waiting for the water to hit like 430 so they open up Hobie ramp launch. That hike from Bottom of Browns up to my car sucks. LOL.
Ive been trying the 6th sense swimbaits, in a desperate search for something that can withstand a single nip from a perch. The megabass Hazedongs are good, but pricey.
I tend to find those marks at that depth to be catfish, if you drop down some liver on a 2/0 bait holder hook you will catch em, looks like a decent day! Yesterday I caught 3 well catfishing on a Ned rig.
@@Lex.polupan nice man, any size to them? Last week I lost one that i think went around 4 and another around 3. I had a bad week for missing good bass last week. Was happy i found some decent ones though. I figured they were something other than bass when I couldn’t get a single bite off them.
Can't believe you got me throwing the Okashira with a swing impact and you change swim baits hahaha. I'm not going down that rabbit hole (any further) it was hard enough putting down the easy shiner for the swing impact. LOL
@@Alive-and-fishingahhhh hahaha. My favorite is still the Keitech though, I’ve been out 3 trips now throwing The Whale and no bass yet off it. I think they’re too big for the lil guys which may not be a bad thing. Man I tell you what, starting with this trip I lost a 2.75 - 3+lb bass in each of my last 3 trips. Hurts sooo bad. But my last trip I did get a 3lb’er in the boat and lost a 3+lb’er. I’ve narrowed down where the keepers are and this coming Friday I hope to get a couple in the boat.
The Keitech on the Okashira skips real good but we're about out of trees. Sometimes you know they're going to get off as soon as you hook em, you can just feel it. Other then that you have to remember your bait. Was bank fishing dyke 8 Friday, had a 2.5 pounder right in front of me, couldn't get it to bite, I flipped a split shot rig out and was dragging it to the fish when I got bit, I was looking at the other fish and naturally tried to set immediately but with a 6 inch worm you gotta wait for the second bump. No fish for me😢 Don't be saying you're not the greatest you tuber. Do a search of Folsom lake on you tube. You're giving us a weekly video fishing report. You're the best we have and we really appreciate you for it.
Thermocline is king this time of year. Especially with Spots.

Ive used the Hazedongs for my A-Rigs but just for the dummy baits. I’ll have to try’em on the Okashira head. Thanks man.

@@Lex.polupanoh damn 👏. I gotta start throwin the ned rig more. Maybe ill work that into a challenge video.
@@proambass8027 if you want I can go with you and show you how it’s done.
Was that from this last Friday or the week before?
This was from Friday the 19th. I didn’t make it out this last Friday but I made it out on Tuesday the 23rd and Thursday the 25th too.
It's tough out there right now , it's a lot like July.
