wow i heard something about the look of the grooves showing the less busy parts of the record from an alc interview but he didnt elaborate and i have been curious for a while, thats so dope i appreciate the tip

I’m not afraid of drums in my samples anymore. Wasn’t easy, but I learned how to work with them to re-groove. Now I prefer having them

I wanted to ask about the MPC One plus I just bought me and I have it all connected but when I put it on midi controller the MPC buttons dont match is there a template or is it my OS system on my Mac . Please respond I need HELP 😢

ngl, the form factor of the key 37 does look really nice! Still happy with my mpc live 2 but if akai would step up their game, I'm interested!
yo.. Great Videos... Can you Edit each Pad Sample or you have to cut the song into the Sound you want to assign each Pad??

I'm flumoxed by this. How is this different than other MPCs? I'm not casting shade on the device. I really appreciate how Akai keeps older models in the loop. But I have a Keystep and an OG Live.
its not different except it has a keyboard and some more ram. can you fit it in a back pack? probably not. I had a one and traded in for a live ii. at home i have all kinds of keyboards so i dont need this but can see why someone would want this.
@@hilarymockewich5588 this doesnt have more ram, it has 2g! The key 61 and MPC X SE both have 4g of ram
they all run and do the same stuff just different form factors . these come with the software pligins so i think thats the selling point

@@hilarymockewich5588just updated to 2.13 on the Live 1, unfortunately playing the keys only triggers samples, but it doesn't select/switch the display to show those samples or slices. When you play the keys, does it change the waveform on your display or just trigger the samples?

According to Yaahn Hunter's demo today it's not possible to create slices using the keys in Sample edit mode like you can by tapping the pads

Put some new sounds in the EP133 😢 you were my inspiration haha its a whole thing though speeding up chopping changing to mono and 16bit just to fit some extra space but then you legit got another few weeks outta it. The EP you use when you wouldn’t use the others. You not taking the 37 to the 🛌 or 🛁 😂

Ave can you show us how to access all functions on the mpc key 61 using only a mpc live 2. More like using the mpc live 2 with a controller keyboard and access the new features that are in update 2.13. Things that they say you can only do on mpc key 61 and 37 please. Like being able to play progressions , latch and playing chords and progressions with one key at a time using a keyboard controller and other features that you can only do on mpc key 61 or 37 pleZe

I thought using loops was cheating, so I programmed my own using samples. I then thought using samples was cheating, so I recorded real drums. I then thought that programming it was cheating, so I learned to play drums for real. I then thought using bought drums was cheating, so I learned to make my own. I then thought using premade skins was cheating, so I killed a goat and skinned it. I then thought that that was cheating too, so I grew my own goat from a baby goat. I also think that is cheating, but I’m not sure where to go from here. I haven’t made any music lately, what with the goat farming and all.
Exactly lol I wasted decades thinking I couldn’t sample and they never had the technology to trace samples back then… it was all fear tactics from top labels 🤣🤣🤣
