Your point on wearing out the heel pad is so spot on. I've seen a lot of people semi recently on reddit and such that complain that their sole is "wearing out too quickly" because they are wearing out the back of the heel pad like that but don't really realize that the wear slows dramatically once it gets worn down a little bit.

I would love to see a unfinished moose vs roughout moose from truman. I would also like to see bison, kangaroo and kudu bc it's east to find bovine patina examples

Dig the green boots for sure and love the second leather midsole did that to my iron rangers and put honey vibram lug sole on and it changed the feel instantly comfortable
