ya and u pay for it to and i dont think the quality is that much of a noticable difference that warrents the price difference for most ppl compared to a trumans or grants
Thank you for doing this video - I FINALLY get to order my first pair of "really special" boots this week - and frankly, now that you put Truman twice in your top 10 list, it is up against me buying the Grant Stone in Chromexcel 8. I learn A LOT from you, and you are my go to guy on YT when it comes to boot research.
Enjoyed the video. Good to see the Coach Ramblers made it on the list, probably my favorite Truman boot that I have, the CF Stead leather is truly some tough leather that just really looks fabulous with hard wear. You have some well loved boots, you can see it in how they're worn.
Im not sure about order of love but my next purchase will be my first Grant Stones in the Brass boot/Black, then probably another Truman in Coach rambler. I dont make a lot of money and I certainly dont need these boots. I dont know why I get so obsessed.
Damn fine collection. I used to have a pretty decent collection myself. My foot grew from an 11 to a 14...foot flattened out! But nothing fit anymore and that was a drag, some boots take some effort to break in..
Thanks Dale for this video, really appreciate your videos on the various boots. Have to say you got me into Grant Stone and especially Trumans. I love my truman java waxed flesh on the 20 last, awesome boot. One boot that i also love is the Parkhurst Niagra boot with commando sole, that has become my travel adventure boot when i go on vacation, great gor hiking but also cleans up nicely for going out for dinner. Keep up the great work.
if you are not standard D width then oftimes ordering boots online (iow no brick/mortar store) = dancing with the devil and playing the return, reorder, refund game. and while iron rangers may not be at the level of the items mentioned in this fine video they do have stores i can walk into...
I like tall boots that are like 6 or 8 inches, preferably 8 inches, because with those low cut boots they just remind me of high top sneakers , if I want a outdoors boot I want a military Jumpman type of boot, and when it comes to like a dress boot i still like them on the tall side
lol 120 boots is nuts, but I get it. it's always a struggle resisting the urge to buy that new boot. I'd like to think the best boot is one with the best patina, so buying more boots really gets in the way of that. but..... oh well. it's a struggle.
So many stunning pairs! I think my favorite out of your collection has to be the pigeon tree x santalum marbled pair, those are some of the most gorgeous looking boots I have ever seen!
Dale you’re one of, if not my favorite, Bootubers. Thank you so much for sharing your opinions and insights. Can you explain how rambler and mowhawk are different. I’m really interested in picking up a pair in one of these leathers just haven’t found the color/makeup that did it for me yet, though I’ve been close a couple times. Also what I find interesting is that even if I had your collection and my own to pick from, I think my top 10 would be quite a bit different than yours. Strange considering I’ve been watching your channel for most of my boot journey. Guess I need to start my own channel and do my own videos 😅.
Just clear 4:04 Is Whites Bounty Hunters, not Whites MP let me know if I'm wrong Thank you for the great video. top 10 boots videos will help people choose the boots. so much fun just looking at your boot collection
Nice! That’s a beast of collection. I definitely don’t feel as bad with my current 5 pair rotation anymore. Any suggestions on getting a similar pair of those vintage Indy’s today? Thanks!
Nice choices! I LOVE waxed flesh leather. The Thursday Loggers I have are waxed flesh from Horween. Really solid boot honestly other than the very thin heel cap. Your list is awesome. My list would be mostly Thursday boots though lol. They are just so affordable. But I have some from Ariat, Redback and Jim Green as well. I really want those MP Sherman boots someday. And also, a pair from Cordobes. Those look so good. And they told me their boots were actually inspired a lot by Thursday boots. Which makes sense!
I don't know how you do it - I have two pairs of boots, both bought at considerable expense - some Redwing chukkas which have an annoying heel slippage on the right foot - very slight, but enough to make them unwearable after about 20 minutes, and I have tried everything to rectify it but to no avail - they are going to the charity shop soon, and then some Loakes which look great and are fine for short periods, but certainly not for long walks. After about 6 months' wearing them out and about I thought I had conquered them and took them to Amsterdam as my only footwear, which was a big mistake as I was crippled after about an hour, and I had to hobble to the nearest sports shop, where I got some Adidas sneakers which I have been wearing ever since. Unfortunately my boot-wearing days are probably over ...
You’ve got to get the fit right. I wore a pair of Parkhurst to Europe recently and I thought I had the fit right, but it turned out that I needed a half size up, so my feet were in misery. Boots that fit correctly should feel like a dream to wear. I have a pair of Loake’s (owned them for ten years) and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them as your one pair to bring on a vacation, they’re more like rugged dress shoes.
@@JRRob3wn Those boots get many miles of walking in the Army. They must have cork insoles to conform to the foot. I think you are being extreme with an agenda.
Most of those boots look like men's boots. Only a few women's mixed in. Usually these boot shows are women's and urban euro boots, the kind for guys who lotion up.
I love that you’re one of the few guys who can display his passion for this and work around it professionally. Surprisingly rare.
“My rotation is so out of control right now” 🤣🤣 The story of my life too!
I appreciate your thoughts. What you like doesn't always link up with mine, but you say why you like it. So I learn stuff. Keep 'em coming.
Nicks, Whites, Wesco’s and Viberg reign supreme.
Nicks stands alone.
ya and u pay for it to and i dont think the quality is that much of a noticable difference that warrents the price difference for most ppl compared to a trumans or grants
I’m hooked on your reviews, your enthusiasm is contagious. Your only failing is that your size is way too small for me otherwise I’d be a buyer.

That means so much to me to hear, thanks brother, I hope I’m able to help you along in your journey
Awesome picks!! What denim jacket are you wearing??
You missed out on Trickers boots
Wauw, the Stone Rambler looks sharp man!
Enjoyed the video. Good to see the Coach Ramblers made it on the list, probably my favorite Truman boot that I have, the CF Stead leather is truly some tough leather that just really looks fabulous with hard wear.

My favorite was the Caswell bison. Hopefully the next time you do a top 10 the next models make an appearance!
really liked that Shinki horsebutt, what a beautiful development.
Awesome to 10 list! I like all the boots but I especially like the engineer boots.
Damn fine collection. I used to have a pretty decent collection myself. My foot grew from an 11 to a 14...foot flattened out! But nothing fit anymore and that was a drag, some boots take some effort to break in..
I really hoped to see 2040 pair of yours. My favorite Vibergs. I really hoped you still have them so i can see how they developed

And the winner is GS or Truman’s?

That was great, Dale. I enjoyed watching your top 10%.
RedWing Iron ranger ❤
I'm a little envious of the White's, and not surprised to see a few Grant Stones made the top ten. I love watching the Dune leather age.

Love my Olive Waxed Flesh MPs! I've also got them in an 8in but on the 5050 last. Bit of a squeak on them right now, but still a heck of a pair
Those olive green waxed flesh White’s are my favorite, then I remembered those Maduro Shell’s!👍🏻
Great video! What’s that trucker jacket you’re wearing though?
Thanks! That’s the standard jcrew denim jacket !
So many stunning pairs! I think my favorite out of your collection has to be the pigeon tree x santalum marbled pair, those are some of the most gorgeous looking boots I have ever seen!

let me know if I'm wrong
Thank you for the great video. top 10 boots videos will help people choose the boots.
so much fun just looking at your boot collection
Surprised to not see them Nick's w&c double stuffed naturals here?
Hi Dale are you making your leather bags or someone else?
Can you insole fit in a Red Wing Engineer Boot? I was never sure about this, and have heard different takes. Thanks! Great content.
Nice! That’s a beast of collection. I definitely don’t feel as bad with my current 5 pair rotation anymore. Any suggestions on getting a similar pair of those vintage Indy’s today? Thanks!
Where are Trickers boots on your list ?
Wait, wait, wait, did I see a color 8 Ottawa boot durung the "perusing?" 😮
such a great video, I have wide feet and the Truman ramblers looked like they were wide enough for my feet, were your shoes regular width?
I normally go for a standard D width however I do find my E and EE boots to normally fit more comfortably
My favorite is the vintage Indy
I was revolted by the lack of kilties broh!
Great video!!!!! I like the Willie's too

I'd have so much rotation anxiety with 125 pairs. Trying to give them all some wear time.

Awesome collection, maybe you can point me in the right direction… I like engineer boots but not as tall I would like something shorter such as 6” 8”
I had most of mine made thru renavgoods! Mention me they’ll know what you’re talking about!
What jacket are you wearing? Thanks
How do we get the kilts and do you ship to the uk
why no love for Red Wing
Guys like Dale make TH-cam amazing.
Willys Logger in green. #1
What kind of boot shelving is that?
What’s the last on your white’s mp service boots? Thanks
The 55!
Surprised that Parkhurst didn't make the cut!
They’re in my top 15 for sure
beautiful boots!
Do you have Kreosote boots? Any review on those?
I will be reviewing them eventually stay tuned 😎
Review Corcoran Jump Boots!
Rose Anvil cut them in half, they’re junk unfortunately.
@@JRRob3wn Those boots get many miles of walking in the Army. They must have cork insoles to conform to the foot. I think you are being extreme with an agenda.
I would have guessed those whites were bounty hunters and not mp 4:10
IR 8085 is a goat and those are ok boots
Nice!
No Parkhurst brand? No love for Buffalo? Come on man!
I have a pair of Color 8 captoe size 8 2030 last I'd love to trade.
Oh dang does it have the black tongue?
@@DalesLeatherworks Sorry looked again, they don't... Why are those more desirable?
collecting shoes is such girl shit. and i'm here for it.
Your boot collection costs more than my car.
My car costs way less than my boot collection haha
No Truman
With out a Jim Green your list isn't complete.
Most of those boots look like men's boots. Only a few women's mixed in. Usually these boot shows are women's and urban euro boots, the kind for guys who lotion up.
Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s quite OK to posses your boots addiction cancer. I have the same disease with sunglasses right now.. 😂😂
Wow! I don’t like any of those boots. Not one. Just goes to show ya!
Ur so rich.
Rich in boots not in money haha!
I love it and end up subscribing you RIGHT AWAY!! Thx!!
Thanks for subbing!
