Thank you very much sir for showing my lovely Air craft in which I worked 15 years as instrumentation person and retired as MCF instructor for this air craft for crews and Technical staff. Thank you once again for refreshing of my golden days with air craft.GOD bless you all.
when i was a kid i lived in the Yakutia region of Russia and i often used to fly on the An-24 and saw that plane An-12 near. I with my friends saw how that big birds fly away or landing. it was great time. sorry if i made some misrakes. english is not my native
As a child a flew this beauty with my dad and the engine sound is a music and I used to know that my father is arriving because it flew over our house and could know as a child the difference of planes from their sound I am 58 now captain and instructor on airbus family 320/and 330 I grew up around planes with my dad god bless his soul he introduced me to aviation I was 6 years old and since then I never lost the passion and my dream is to be again in an an12 thanks for the lovely video that brought back my great memories as a child
UR-CKM passed over my house last week with that beautiful sound at 21000ft flew out over the west coast of Ireland, I was gutted to miss it as I always have binoculars ready at the back door . We are below the North Atlantic highway and often see very unusual birds up there. Thing is we are also under the take off into West South/west path of Ireland West Airport (knock). I decided to track its program, it had left Liverpool , St Johns, Houston TX , Mexico city , Kingston, Port of Spain , Espargos, Port Harcourt , and no doubt a few more hops b4 these guys get some time off. What I would give to go on one of those jaunts, I wish they had a few passenger seats, I would pay and make ALL the food and refreshments 😂❤️👍
Captain Alex, You are the true pilot that carry the horses, I am really amazing about the crews took the job seriously, forget drinking Coca-Cola, try Dr Pepper drink. It is the best! Thank you for the amazing video.
This will be an invaluable historic document soon. Well, it is already now... :-) Well done documentary! Just the right amount of information and talking at the right point of time. While just allowing us aviation people to sit back and enjoy the interesting phases quietly. Vielen Dank!
Very nice documentary video, I felt as if I really made the trip, as if I were on the plane. Finally the AN12 is a real machine. I watch the AN12's move on flightradar24 and it's a plane that travels the world. Thank you for the channel (airclips.com).
UNIQUE FOOTAGE. I've only every flown in an Antonov (twin-prop) once in my life - in 1985 on a domestic flight between Warsaw and Zielona Gora, Poland, operated by the natiional airline. Great experience but two armed soldiers on board to stop people hijacking the plane. In the previous two years there had been 3 hijacks on this route. The reason was economic, so a soft hijack, with captain being told to divert to Berlin Tempelhoff ;-)
Captain is our old friend. Great pilot. They fly manually and are actual pilots not the rotating knob incumbents. On the lighter note Well beyond being a pilot par excellence he could physically carry the AN12 to Finland on his shoulders.
This goes to show how automation has befitted all the airliners. This company has to pay in cabin crew only 5 guys that I can see: capt, 1st officer, navigator, communication, and I guess the other one is instruments/mechanic? All that is now handled by two guys (and eventually none will be required). Yes there is less manual flying but they can occupy their time in these other activities. Granted this Ukrainian company also has the benefit of not paying depreciation of the plane as the acquisition price was likely very cheap. Very interesting for sure and cool views, especially the navigator’s seat.
In America we love all Soviet aviation and we know that the airplanes of that era are better than those of the west, especially I idolize the ty154b2 & ilyushin 62M, MK but it is impossible not to worship the AHTOHOB 12 and we admire the MERYDIAN avya company, and we will always see their videos a thousand times ahh-? that boy the co-pilot is very handsome as his father attentively falls in love with the SOVIET air fleet from Apodaca Nl, northern MEXICO
Unusual to see that sort of patterned tyre tread on an aeroplane. Does anyone know why they are like this? Normally just straight line grooves running around an aircraft tyre.
Thank for sharing u beautiful movement and u job experience By by take takear u self . Happy flying birds swity India (jharkhand)--- Welcome to my city ranchi By by
Thank you for sharing the beautiful moments of this cargo flight. It didn't quite sound like cargo but like passenger. It would be selfish and ungenerous for me not to admire the narrators pitch and smooth flow of articulation.
horses in a powerhorse, the Antonov 12 and Antonov 22 are my favourite Planes❤️❤️
you can´t do something wron with an old fashion antonov ; )

what an awesome story you can be proud at yourself for the stuff you achieved in the avitation buisness.
merry Christmas greetings patrick
How big and spacey that cockpit is, incredible!
Lots of horse power on this flight 👍
What a fabulous video, beats the hell out of mainstream television documentaries. Congratulations on such a great channel.

Very nice, I love the fact that airplanes don't age, lack of maintenance kills em. Great job guys.
I love the sound of this plane. It flies over regularly when it departs in Eindhoven heading south.
This AN12 is regular over my neck of the woods in england . Very distinctive in colour and sound . Good to see .
Welcome back great to see this lovely old lady back on AirClips again
Absolutely beautiful video! Well done, the horses commend this special treatment.
Captain Alex, You are the true pilot that carry the horses, I am really amazing about the crews took the job seriously, forget drinking Coca-Cola, try Dr Pepper drink. It is the best! Thank you for the amazing video.
Antonov 12 "workhorse" flying a cargo load of horses. It doesn't get much better then this.

You must be bless for this video . So many camera around the plane .we love it .love those horses
Very interesting flight on an old plane.
Thank you from France.
never much knew about these Antonov's.. old tech, but works well.. horses dont like hard landings, and that was smooth one landing
Quite unusual dress code for aviation industry :-)
He skipped checking the 2x23 mm tail guns during preflight.
"Ultimate cockpit movie"
My favorite :) Thanks!
A fantastic video I thoroughly enjoyed it, looking forward to the next videos.
Love this documentary! I'm in love with the Antonov 12!

very nice video of this classic prop and the unique cargo with a well experienced crew, beautiful plane!
What a beautiful clip is this. I like the "handwork" very much. Very professional.
Thank You, guys!
You made my evening!
Удачи всем, из Болгарии дружеский привет!
A really professional production involving a great aircraft. Samdim models of the AN-12 can be flown in FS9 (FS2004).
Beautiful views of German and Dutch islands due to low altitude ,what a tank of an aircraft still faithfully serving
God bless all the machine and the crew
Many many thanks for air clips for uploading these kind of super videos of air planes, my dream was to be a pilot when was in childhood,
Loved the flight, thank you very much.
I enjoyed watching this marvelous trip, Looking inside the Pitcock instrument I think need major rehabilitation. Good luck and stay safe
Beautiful machine.
Captain is our old friend. Great pilot. They fly manually and are actual pilots not the rotating knob incumbents. On the lighter note Well beyond being a pilot par excellence he could physically carry the AN12 to Finland on his shoulders.
Thanks for the effort and great photography
Great movie. Best regards from Poland.
These horses will be walking in front of their friends with great boast that we have come to travel in A-12😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😍😍😍😍🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳😘😘😘😘😘

I bet the horses were telling all their jealous buddies that they flew An-12 aircraft and survived.
Perfect landing greatly enjoyed

Beautiful, great job... thank’s
Great video. Enjoyed and learnt quite a lot.
Can you add flight detail in description I really appreciate it always great content ❤️✨
yeah what kind of details would you like to know about ?
@@AirClipscom I like to know flight number airline and destination etc. In description thanks again for this content 🙏♥️
Really enjoyed the flight
If not for the headphones, the pilot certainly looks like a trucker!
Ausgezeichnet! Sehr informativ und spannend. Sehr gute Arbeit!
Weiter so!
For all the flight they smelled horse sh.it. What a treat!
The crew member in the center seat reminds me of, Dominique Pinon ("Vriess") from the movie Alien Resurrection, minus the wheelchair of course...
very old aircraft...but amazing technology...
Great maintenance from the engineers, stunning
Interesante video, me gustó mucho! 👍
Amazing !! Any one notice there is another Captain 👨✈️ down in the front !? In the small glass cockpit ? So this airplane have 2 Captains !
Trabalho excelente parabéns para a equipe.
Wow,the pilot cockpit is so diffrent than others airplne huh,so advance this type oldies.super lady nov
Superb.
Horse walks into a plane, pilot asks "Why the long face?"
Very interesting presentation.
thank you 5 star
AMAZING VIDEO AND VERY GOOD EXPLAINING,::!!
Awesome!
Interesting nose wheel arrangement, the strut stays at an angle, have not noticed that before.
I love such classic flying machines robust Russian technology it looks beautiful adventurous explorer type.
Wow,awsome insides

This Antonov is 50 years old !
ধন্যবাদ...
thanks
They got the horses in the back.
It's him. The awesome pilot who flies "stick manual" !!! His name pls. Capt Alex........Thanks.
wow! too many drivers
very good vidéo!!!
Very.nice.india.kerala.
I am also living in Lappeennranta city.
This aircraft never had so much horsepower
In this flight, the pilot is hard to control because the aircraft more powerful by 6 horsepower.
Bela aeronave!
Wht is that stick on the side bottom that is hanging?
So is it cargo or passenger
I wonder why the plane has a position for a tail gunner, like a Tupolev “Bear”, and a glass nose for a bombardier?
Thank you for sharing the beautiful moments of this cargo flight. It didn't quite sound like cargo but like passenger. It would be selfish and ungenerous for me not to admire the narrators pitch and smooth flow of articulation.
I think the Captain ate one of the horses.
Anybody know why horses are being flown to Finland
How many crew?
Any particular reason horses are loaded backwards?..... Easier on them when braking?
