most people who are not pilots have no idea of how 'on the controls' the pilot must be during a landing. I guess it's especially true for craft like the An-12. people don't realize how 'crappy' the air is near the ground on an approach. enthusiasts appreciate your posts!!! I'm a pilot, and i certainly do!

I just read about the crash of an Antonov 12 from UAA that happened in october 2019. Every crew member died unfortunately. :( I really hope no one from this crew was on board, but can't find any names anywhere.

man after watching that lufthansa 2 hour flight vid to tokyo this is a monster 5 guys and slower than molasses in the winter time.. Even a DC 3 is more fun to fly...man just look at the electrical engineer/ radio area.. that wiring was made by me it's so old... amazing.. Great eyeball landing!
