- This is possibly 1 of the greatest touring cars of all time. If you raced in the BTCC in the 80's this was the only car too choose. THE RS500 has a turbo charged 2.0 engine and was raced by the likes of Andy Rouse and Tim Harvey.

I saw both 05 & 17 at Wanneroo Perth WA, JD broke the front strut. I got a singed posters from DJ and Win Percy. Just loved the ATCC, met Allan Moffat. Group A were good days and I'm a Pome. Just pulled out all my old DVD, watch 1988 Sandown 500. Great Days

Great car and very popular however I disagree. The Australian prepared Gibson Motorsport Nissan GT-R’s finally made the Sierra obsolete and as a result Group A was finally disbanded.
wrong. the gtr has nowhere near the competition record or results the sierra does.
