Nope. They did not reseal the baffles between cells. Electrolyte can migrate cell to cell now. In the factory original, each plastic cell wall was welded to the top cover and the electrode pass through holes between cells were sealed. Now the top of each cell is not sealed off from the others.

This shouldn’t be admired or encouraged. These guys are being poisoned by the lead and fumes. They will be lifelong I nvalids in just a year or two. Also the batteries are not very good, maybe half of their original capacity.
Still the battery cost $3 dollars! That’s a deal!
