I want to know, how hard would it be to spread a layer of new lead over the plates. You can see many of those plates are worn out to crumbling. Great job, but I think a really good baking soda soak and rinse would do the same as what they are doing with much less work. I use deep cycle batteries for off grid solar power, and when my batteries start getting weak I do a good cleaning of them and get another 6mos out of them. I would imagine because I am cleaning out all the stuff in the bottom of the battery that built up shorting the plates out. Great job but I think they should find a way to make new plates. Not to mention baking soda deactivates battery acid.

Lead poisoning has occurred in children whose parent(s) accidentally brought home lead dust on their clothing. Neurological effects and intellectual disability have also occurred in children whose parent(s) may have job-related lead exposure.4
i work with lead in australia for over 30 years , got tested last year not a issue
People that work with lead in the us are required to be tested frequently and they are not allowed to wear their clothes home. If a workers blood test comes back and shows an elevated level they are required to be removed from the floor until it is lowered and their ppe and how they are using it is evaluated. Poor bastards either are desperate and accept the risks or have no clue how much damage they are doing to themselves and the environment. I'm guessing that the whole they were dumping the acid into was formed by acid. Check out the work bench they are using. Eroded over time by acid and molten lead.

Electric and Dual Energy autos use Lithium Ion batteries, not the lead acid batteries, only exception would be starting the car if it's dual energy powered car, otherwise Li-Ion battery is used.

Would like order one such battery...drive around with it and just feel the feeling ha ha ! :-) TYhere is something organic and straight to the point....and the coolnes of trying and same time knowing...and doing...things in an other way....than consis western or asian....or whatever place...doing things...with no room for human intuition and creativity and or will or lust....to do things....how they there and than want and see fit. Here those guys...somehow seems to have the space and possibility to grow whatever they self figure out worth doing and how to do it. It is somewhat kind of other. I bet it has a lot of drawbacks and allot of crazy stuff behind the scene...who decide, who own, who earn the profit, what salory and so on and so fort. But cannot help but getting impressed of what i see...and very amazed.
