- Detectives Lupo & Bernard must track down a cop killer on the loose as four NYPD Officers are brutally killed in broad daylight.
From Law & Order Season 20 Episode 17 'Four Cops Shot' - Lupo and Bernard arrive on the scene of four fallen police officers and are soon led to a circuit of drug dealers, a jealous husband and a remorseful judge.

love how they gave Lupo emotions in this episode. usually he's all cool with some snarky comments, but here, he showed he's a human after all.....

True what she said. I've had family who wore the blue. Back in the old days, this type of shooting would have had every crook in NY going to ground and pulling the dirt over whatever bolthole they hid in because they knew two things - 1) The NYPD wasn't stopping until they had found the bastard and 2) he wasn't living to see the inside of a jail cell.

He does, but his actions are understandable. The people you serve with aren't just people you work with, they're like brothers and sisters to you, we have this close bond with each other that most don't understand unless you serve and when one of your own falls in the line of duty, it hurts like heck and it hits differently.

@@trivonnereid769 That captain will eventually, but its going to take time to do so. Some people take longer then others. Different people have a different way of processing loss as well as a recovery time. He seems like a great captain, he cares about the people under his command, that's a sound officer right there.

We have a little this now, when cops are in danger or something is done they’re all over the place but if you think the cops are going to help you you’re out of your mind. The cops will violate your rights but don’t think they’ll help you.

The killer was an informant for the first two cops you see. They were blackmailing him into giving up drug dealers and threatening to arrest his mother if he didn’t continue to inform for them. So he snapped, killed them & two other cops. Was convicted & sentenced to life.

I live in Kentucky I’m a registered nurse you wouldn’t think that I would have to carry my weapon anywhere would you? Well, 10 nurses have been murdered in Kentucky on the job my patients and their families. My whole point is this, you have to be situationally aware nobody can guard 24 seven all agree but these guys were too busy getting: “a slice” And had the feeling they were cops and no one would try that’s where they made the mistake and that’s what cost them their lives this is an a game life is full of prayers be prepared at all times

I'm a retired police firearms instructor.
I trained my officers never sit with your back to the door.Dont sit right by the front door.Always have situational awareness at all times..When you are home you are in condition green,As soon as you put that uniform on,you are in condition yellow and you stay that way till you take that uniform off..
While this is Hollywood,This could easily happen to any L.E.O...Hollywood portrays LE as fast draw,deadeye shooters,We are not we are just human beings with faults just like everyone else.. I am glad I am retired. There is more danger out there for LE than ever before..And it all started in 2008 when someone came in office promising "CHANGE". His "CHANGE" has embolden certain people in our communities to be disrespectful and definat towards law enforcement and with a liberal justice system letting thugs back out on the street is a no win not only for LE but our citizens as well.
I applaud you in you decision in carrying a handgun.All I ask is that you practice as much as you can,maybe get some secondary firearm training.Please stay safe,have situational awareness and watch your six.
