I find them both to be fairly similar! I don’t own a pair of Sampson Flats but I was between the 2 as well… they both have the lower profile sole thickness that I like, but I fell in love with that grey suede and was sold 😂
I almost feel like I went “full circle” since my first and most recent pair are the same material! Love the look of them and the dress shoes always get compliments and questions :)
@@olalekanakinsete6175 Heel height is 2cm, and the sole itself is about 3.5 mm … that 2cm INCLUDES the 3.5 mm sole as well. Turns out that’s the same for the Roadie Boot, the Greggo Oxford and Mortimer Double Monkstrap styles.

Are the top of the boots loose around your leg? I just got a pair and the right side seems stretched out. Also, did you go a size up or lower than your normal shoe size? Thank you in advance!

I do purchase size 42 in almost all slip on shoes, but my normal size is 42.5, so I would say I order a half size down depending on the style. Which model/material did you pick up?
I would say pretty much so!! I typically buy the lace ups in a 42.5 and slip ons and sneakers in a 42. I do have a relatively narrow foot, or at least not a “wide” foot if that makes a difference. Both of my Greggos are 42.5 and these are a 42
I currently use any generic shoe tree as long as it’s real cedar (not plastic) and has the spring loaded expanding parts… just follow the size guide like medium = size 8-11 etc… For the Chelsea boots, you can do the same thing or just over stuff the toe area with tissue paper if you feel like you’re stretching the shoe too much taking it in/out

I would argue that his dress shoes very much run more “narrow” but also do tend to have a longer toe box for the styling... if you generally need a wider or longer toe box, I would expect you would run into that same issue here. I can try them both on when I get home and consciously pay attention to any differences I notice.

I typically look at Zoofashions.com and fined3sign.com because they often have discounts at different times of the year and sometimes older styles and I’ll get lucky like this time. It was the last pair they had left and it happened to be in my size. At this point you’d probably have to run an eBay or google search and look for a reputable seller. What size do you need?
@@Letsgetmoney-de6nv Yeah a size like that can be a mixed blessing ... not a common common size, but also at most of the seasonal sales the larger sizes are what are left over. I’d definitely check in with any boutique during their 2 seasonal sales and ask about anything they have in a 15/48... I’m the opposite, my size is readily available when they come out but aren’t usually left over by the time they go on sale 😂 But that’s how it goes lol

The red soles will wear the first time you walk on concrete but there are ways to protect or re sole them that different people might do…
