I messed up H&M and aldo, h&m coming with clean look and i really dont like Aldo's. SaintLaurent guessed right, def a classic that looks stunning. Ankari's are probably the best value
Finally, a Saint Laurent boot.
I recommend getting some good shoe trees for your boots, the creasing on your own boot is getting pretty pronounced.
The suede boots look super cheap

You can see the price tag right away when he lifts his boot. The one from H&M has no stitching. The one from Aldo looked cheap anyway. The Midtier was solid but the shape of Saint Laurent is iconic. You can tell that its Saint Laurent immediately. My only question is: Are these the 30mm or 40mm heel?

It was very obvious that the last pair was the most expensive. The exquisite profile of the boot looked like it was designed by computer....and that leather looks ridiculously rich.
Saint Laurent make the most beautiful, shapely boots.
River Island Chelsea boots are the best cheap Chelsea out there. Mine are even developing a nice patina over time, and they’re shaped like YSL Wyatts. I recommend.

You guys need to produce a rock n roll Ankari Floruss line with those slimmer silhouettes and a harness boot.
SLP Wyatts are the way to go! The shape is the best looking and the quality is great. If you can’t afford them, get the Sandro Paris Chelsea boots, these have a similar shape to the Wyatt but half the price.

3rd and 4th are the best looking ones, but I'm not supporting the use of real leather so I'd go for the 1st one.
I guessed these all correctly:
H&M = Rubber heel and sole gave it away.
Aldo = Cheap and thin leather sole with possibly a combination heel made it a cut above the H&M.
Ankari = Leather soles w/ combination heels. The stitching at the bottom plus the thin leather sole told me these are probably blake-stitched.
SL = I recognize these from their shape. Extra stacked heel and elongated last w/ a slight feminine shape. These shoes are grossly over-priced for their quality, so they're more difficult to price by looking for quality.
My recommendations: Meermin, Carlos Santos, Carmina, Enzo Bonafe. All makers sell Goodyear welted Chelsea boots and are around $230-$600 between the brands.

I liked them the least. I think the first fake leather looked the nicest Aesthetically. Of course looks are subjective .
nah, if you got money to burn get it. But worth definitely not, waste of money.
Carminas are better and half the price.
I guessed all right, and I’m quite surprised because I thought I’d need to examine and feel the boots to be sure. But anyway, the expensive ones were head and shoulders classier than the rest. I’m not so sure about leather soles being luxurious though. When new they’re terribly slippery, especially on carpet, and you can’t really wear them in wet weather as they soak up the moisture and degrade. Also, the Blake stitched sole on #3 will let water in. A leather sole Blake stitched sole is pretty much a no go in any wet weather. Fun video 🙏🏻

The Saint Laurent boot is by far the best looking boot there, didn't like the rest especially your brand, suede leather boots/shoes are always more comfortable then a calf leather because of the nature of the tanning process, but you are only paying for the name really for the saint laurent boots, yes they are better quality but they probably cost about £50 to make them in Italy (Italy is very cheap to manufacture footwear/clothing etc) so the rest is all profit for saint laurent, and your own brand (far to expensive as well). seen all leather good quality boots for under £100, just need to look round for the bargains and not buy the first ones you see.
Where on Earth can you find a pair of Made in Italy, genuine leather, well designed, and well made Chelsea boots for less than £100? For something like that, £300 is probably the lowest you can go if you do not care about the brand. I am sure you can find a pair of leather Chelsea boots for under £100, but either the design or the quality is garbage. And of course people are paying for the Saint Laurent brand name, but that goes for every other luxury brand. Everyone buying them knows he/she is paying for the luxury brand name more than the actual design, quality, and the product itself. That's why they are "luxury."
@@edwink1467 I have a pair of luxury brand boots which I paid £89 for, they are all high quality leather upper, lining, sock, soles and leather veneer heel and top piece with1/4 rubber, The fit and shape of the boots are perfect. I have worked many years as a shoe designer for one of the world's top shoe brands so I know what's what and what go's into making the highest quality footwear, and as said you need to know where to look to buy and get a great deal, the boots I brought a few years ago but are still in lovely condition and look very similar in style to the saint laurent boots and totally on par in quality if not better.
The aldo heel is 1" which is standard

I bought a pair of faux leather black chelsea boots ... they don't shine up. I bought them online, didnt really check properly what they were made of. They look okay but I would recommending always going for real leather so that you can give them a good shine! :)

@@cz6900 If they do go on Sale it will be in Early June and Late November. The next Sale at Saint Laurent Boutiques will start on Black Friday(day after Thanksgiving) and go until Christmas. Saint Laurent only has Sales twice a year but each sale last for about 5 weeks.

I want a good pair of chelsea's so bad! I ordered the 9's and 9.5's from Thursday and neither fit! 9's perfect on the heel but crammed the toes and 9.5's too loose on the heels (1inch slippage). I would love to get a pair of Ankari Floruss but I'm scared to do the same thing and end up returning both pairs. Is there any extra sizing info you can provide other than the generic one on the website?

The Saint Laurent boots are beautiful. There’s some brands the make cheaper alternative to them From The First Story Et Fall, The CallBoy if you’re interested.
Story et Fall and CallBoy, yes. From The First already costs $500-550, even though the quality is super nice (even as good as Saint Laurent), why not just wait for a sale to get Saint Laurent, which is about $700, much better resale value too.
Thang Nguyen I only tried a pair from FromTheFirst. The problem with Saint Laurent is that the best pairs with better colorways get out of stock way faster. Like black Wyatt harness, brown/tan. Story et fall I’ve checked their website and it’s not organized and they don’t ship to my country but I’ll find a way maybe.

want a dope pair of Chelsey boots? Check out Gaziano & Girling "Burnham" boots... from one of the finest Bespoke shoe makers in the UK... and if $2000-$3000 is too steep for you, R M Williams made in Australia will only set you back $600 or so, and will last you a lifetime.

Chelsea boots I like it very nice
$150-300 too me is the sweet spot. Anything below that unless it’s on sale is probably going to have quality issues. Anything above that and I am not convinced you are getting better quality as much as you are paying for brand names.
My personal favorite was ankai's, slp look too girlish for my taste with the super High heels, aldo and h&m on the other hand are affordable and low quality imo not worth the invesment in the long run. Btw great video as always Marcel, keep the good vibe.

@@eviesyd Thats debatable. They're not worth the money if you don't have a ton of money to spend on boots. Brands like Beckett Simonon are probably better for an affordable price point.
