Beautiful car, i have a 2017 ecoboost mustang its a great car i love it, really thinking about getting a v8 gt one in a couple of years hopefully in grabber lime not fussed if its a 6 speed manual or the 10 speed auto wud have either, its a 6 speed manual i got just now but that 10 speed auto an just letting the car get on with it is tempting 👌👍 great car there looks good in race red 👌👌
Finally, a review by someone that gets it. I've had my GT 12 months and I can't help but smile every time I fire it up. Previously had a BMW 4 series and whilst it did everything well it had no soul - even a simple trip to B & Q has a sound track like the Dukes of Hazzard now!
Great review! Bought my race red Mustang Gt 3 months ago and it really is a great car. Nothing beats the feeling it gives you each time you fire it up! Amazing! Thanks mate!
Good review 👍 so many people hit on the mustang interior not being great, ive got a 2017 ecoboost one an i love the interior but outside looks done it for me, if anyone wants luxury interior then mercedes or audi or jag are the ones, mustang is sports an muscle car an never claimed to be luxury, to me mustang is the best car looks wise, great car an well done ford for all options on mustangs 👍👍
Great vid. Recently upgraded from a 2.3 to a GT and chuffed to bits with it. It makes every journey an event to look forward to and enjoyable and whilst there are far better cars objectively nothing I've driven feels as satisfyingly mechanical as the stang.
I recently got one, and it was the first I’d seen inside properly. For all the criticism on build quality, I have to say that I don’t get it - the interior was way better than I expected, no squeaks or rattles for instance. I too get around 34-35 mpg on the motorway. Makes me mad that us Europeans get miserable rattly 4-cylinder turbo diesels shoved down our throats instead of lovely petrol V8s, all for the sake of often an extra 5-10 (more expensive) miles per gallon. The air smells a lot cleaner in US cities without all the diesel cars too.
Have to say one of the best Reviews I have watched came across your channel as my intrest in the mustang is coming back put out of my mind as am the only one of my friend's who drive and those back seat's is one reason y I started to move away other was sat in one at Ford's of Winsford and found I was at full stretch for the clutch and at that time I thought some cars had to b manual but literately as of today thinking maybe a auto. Can you give me your thought's of what it was like to drive as a Auto like did the car know what gear you wanted from town driving to having fun. Happy Christmas mate
One of us is doing something wrong. My 18 GT is showing 14 mpg (imperial) at the moment which is on par with my V12 Aston! It is better on a longer run than the Aston but still only mid 20s.
Great review! Ordered a Mustang GT 2020 that will be produced the 9th of March and delivered in late May here in Denmark - can't wait! One thing in your review though... You said it combined has an economy of 32.9mpg? Can you confirm that? It just seems odd compared to that the factory specs of the EU spec Mustang 2019 is 18.8mpg
I am getting around 32 mpg on the motorway and about 22 around town. To be honest i didnt by my Mustang for fuel economy. i know how you feel, i waited months to get mine, trust me you will love the car.
My combined one that specific run was 32.9, generally you’ll see about 20 in normal driving circumstances. :) Noise makes up for the rate it drinks fuel though...
Cheers on your replies John and Tom! Thanks for getting back quickly and with detailed reply I'm definetely looking forward to getting my car and I'm sure I will love it many years in the future. The economy is not important at all and I gladly pau the price for having the beast :) also my previous vehicle (1986 Humvee) had only 8mpg so the Mustang will be a economical car for me to have, haha
Love the Mustang GT and love your positivity. But here are some negatives worth mentioning - Harsh ride, not a comfort ride. Piped in engine noise through the firewall is annoying, juvenile but easily deleted. The drivers seat does not lower enough (typical Ford). The steering is unresponsively American. That said I love it but would delete the piped noise and fit 17 inch rims for a much smoother ride with the 1 inch higher tyre profile.
I daily drive one. 22 MPG in a city. Love the style, great bang per buck. Downside is quality of some plastics only. Recommend the digital dash, Recaro seats as well. Wouldn’t swap it for anything else at that price point. Need to take it on a track or runway to appreciate the power on tap.
I currently drive a 435d BMW as my daily. I easily get 50mpg without breaking a sweat on a long run and i usually get 30-35mpg on a 7 mile commute one way to work in sub urban driving. Im really considering the mustang 5.0 as the next car. 49k for my car, 43k currently for the mustang. The only concern i have is the quality of the interior, ive been driving german cars now since 2010 and i'm worried that the cheap plastics will ruin it for me. Im not bothered about fuel consumption because obv the car isnt built for economy.
I daily my Mustang GT, and trust me you'll forget everything when you hear the phenomenal V8 burble. Sold my 4 series BMW for the Mustang and haven't looked back once.
@@QBall5568 sound. Liverpool myself lad. Probably a stupid question fella but what do you get mpg wise just driving in the suburbs and when your on a solid motorway run. If your behaving yourself

A unquestionably legendary car? What do you think of the Mustang?
proper legend

Best value among high horsepower cars. It's not meant to compete with high-end cars.
Stunning car that you don’t have to thrash everywhere, for cruising with that engine note is so cool. Great review

Stunning, and brilliant put together mate. Sounds immense too love a v8 mustang!!
Thanks, it was a great vehicle to review. I kinda want a Mustang now.
Great video, very informative. I get my GT in a few days time. Blue with a white stripe, looks terrific. Cheers

Thanks so much for the kind words. Auto is superb and suits the car totally, manual is great but auto is the winner.
Immense bro. What a sound, what a look. Ford have nailed the Mustang every single year, I love them and one day hope and wish I could own one!

such a sexy car the mustang is, and the noise of that v8 is incomparable, lovely!!

The rear lights are still distinctly Mustang.
You are not correct about the torque figures. Mustang gt has 420 pound feet of torque, that is 583Nm not 529Nm
My paperwork said the figures I quoted, but I’ve seen a million different figures online - so I guess it’s difficult to be 100% sure.
im torn between 2019 Mustang with the 10speed auto or a 2016+ XJR .... . My brain tells me to get the Jag ..my heart says the ford
Mine is on order, expected next March. However I had to go manual, seriously an auto muscle car? No no no 😀

We call it a pony car over here in North America
Not as "distinctly Mustang" as it's predecessors. The design was "Europeanized" in 2015.
Mustang Sally is about heroin.
I heard it ha a 2 star safety rating!
The old one might have done so, this one is most definitely 5 star! :)
