What if there was no HUD in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

This is the no HUD challenge in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I've gone one step too far and removed every item on the HUD.
No coin or lap counts, no positions, and most importantly no items.
How can you play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at a high level without a HUD, well, you can't, but I hope you enjoy watching me fumble around in the confusion that is the no HUD challenge.

Fun fact audio queues you may not know:
1) Coin collection audio queues sound different when you have 8 or more coins.
2) When you’re in first, the track music sounds slightly different. This is most notable on the track sunset wilds. You’ll also here it change when you’re beating / losing against whatever time trail ghost you’re racing.

To tell if you’re in first, second to sixth or seventh to last you can just listen to what music plays after the finish line as there is a distinct one for each of those placement ranges.
