- Do you like to play as the Mii Character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Mii too... lol... anyway, I never know which size is the best so in this video, I test out the lightweight Mii, mediumweight Mii and heavyweight Mii to find out which one is superior.

One thing I noticed that could easily screw over your race is that you are using your coins to get your trail items to your main slot. The coin is a good defensive tool to keep your opponents from stealing your good items with the Boo then red shelling you and can even ensure you get protection from the next box you hit. If you want double protection, then you should cycle your items at the next set to ensure the coin is in your first slot and the first protection item is the second at the first set then at the next set, you use your coin and pray you don’t get another coin. Rinse and repeat until you are satisfied with your items.
Also, you should never trail an item longer than needed if you have a break away. In the pack, it’s perfectly safe to do that as you can block unreactable attack items like the fire flower or red shells from up close and you can lag trail an opponent who’s getting a little too close to you, but when you aren’t in the pack, trailing your items could be a detriment. The blue shell, boomerang, horn, and bob-ombs can easily destroy your trail items while still hitting you, leaving you defenseless to future red shells and the boo could steal it making it so you can go about twenty seconds without getting another box.
You clearly have the racing knowledge down so when you improve your item play, it could make your wins even more consistent and less up to luck.
You know what, i find this to be the most underrated channel here.

When you are in first, with a coin and green shell (or banana) you should hold onto the coin in case of boo. Its what all the pro players do.
