Love the casual, summery vibes. Our thriftstores aren't really big enough for your approach (you basically go and hope they have one or two things you like), but as a sewist, this makes sense to me.
You have such great style, it shows we don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on new clothes. We just need to find our style! 🌼
Ugh I NEED that pink and red tie dye bishop sleeve sweater with the crystals. I was DROOLING. I'm totally going to use this mood board method. I get so overstimulated and overwhelmed at the thrift store, so this should make it better!

I love thrifting, it does help when you have an idea in mind rather than browsing. You get lucky sometimes but this really is a great idea to not buy something you might regret later.

So grateful to have found this , I have a 17 year old niece who is getting into her colors and style and suggested she create a capsule and we could thrift it. This idea of the mood board is priceless and will make the process so easy!
LOVE!!!! LOVE IT!!!! I remember the mood boards I have to do when I went to fashion designing school. I LOVE!!! Doing them. Sometimes I would help my classmates with their mood boards. I also had some of my teacher kept my mood boards to show students the different ways they could create. It also do help you keep organize. When I worked in the costume department in Six Flags Great America I would have different boards for the different shows we where doing. LOVE YOUR TH-cam tutorials!!!! Keep up the good work!!! Been bummed out about fast fashion quality, so I've contemplated on thrifting like I used to when I was much younger. This is a great idea. My daughter and I love thrifting. Sometimes I pick up pieces that I want to alter or reperpos. You just gave me an idea to thift through my closet and all of my collections. It's amazing how you can thrift a piece that's nice material but not necessarily great in terms of style, but then, you can reimagine it. That's a great talent to have. I need to spend some time teaching my 28yo daughter how to sew. She has a great style but is always spending top dollars on clothes.
