Such an amazing show with so many quality actors/actresses. I am so glad for the reruns as I have watched them many times over. So many faces from my childhood gone now, yet live on in those reruns. I enjoy the series on DVD.
Stafford Repp, who played an MP in "White Gold", died 4 months before his episode was aired in March 1975. He's probably best known for playing Chief O'Hara in the tv series BATMAN.
Thank you. I knew about the Larry Linville and Marcia Strassman errors (because I forgot to calculate their ages), but the one about Winter is new to me. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. And I'll correct all the mistakes in a future video update.
I used to watch MASH with my Mum, who passed away a long time go. I later bought all the DVD's to watch again and again. Makes me very sad to see all these good people are now dead.
Fun Fact: In the 1976 episode “The Colonel’s Horse,” (Season 5, Ep. 12), Colonel Sherman T. Potter’s horse, Sophie, falls ill, and B.J. Hunnicutt (played by Mike Farrell) calls his father-in-law, Floyd Hayden, for advice. Interestingly, Mike Farrell’s real-life wife, Judy Farrell, was born in Quapaw, Oklahoma, and Floyd Hayden was Judy Farrell's real-life father.
What really surprised me: seeing William Christopher playing a Nazi on a rerun of Hogan's heroes. Really different after knowing him as lovable Father Mulcahy.
@@francesmeyer8478 Thank you for your kind words. Because of people like you, I hate making little sloppy mistakes (like forgetting to calculate ages). My error rate is really low, but still existent. And reading words like yours is always motivation for me to avoid that last percent of errors and make even better videos. Thank you!! 🙏🙏
Larry Linville was NOT 80 year old ... He was born in 1939 and died in 2000 which makes him closer to 61 then 80... Edward winter was not 73 when he died he was closer to 63 ... 1937 to 2001 is only 63 years ... I can see you skipped math class ...
Yeah, Larry Linville died young, which is really too bad. It's also too bad that he got typecast with the Frank Burns character. He really was a great actor. He died at 60, way too young.
Wow, this used to be one of my favorite shows. Now that I’m in that age group, every day feels like a prayer. 🙏
😢
Me too
@@DanielOrtegoUSA when I got older than Colonel Blake I’ve never felt older lol

This made me smile, and sad at the same time. I hope they're all back together up there.
Yeah...Good memories watching with friends and family...Who says time travel isn't possible!
Just try to get it straight: Have you ever seen or heard any evidence for the existence of, 'Up There.'
Thank you for the memories...............R.I.P.....to all...............

Such a great show.
I still watch the reruns, many times over.

@@listoholic4507not to pick on you but there’s a lot of errors. Don’t calculate yourself use Wikipedia.
And Marcia Strassman was not 91!
Easy to fact check today…Google is your friend. 😂
I like that you included "old age" photos of the actors

It's hard to believe that it's forty years ago, still being shown, they'll never grow old, not to me anyway.
Robert Alda was Alan Alda's father. Made two appearances on MASH.
Somebody can't do math. Marcia was 61 not 91 even she died..
so many great actors in one serie, I'm enjoying still the serie on dvd, now with a new respect but still enjoy every minute of every episode
I love that it wasn't just major characters. Who can forget Whiplash Hwang?

Love this show
Marsha Statesman was born two weeks after I was in 1948. I am only 76. An adjustment needs to be made.
You are right. I forgot to change the age. I don't know why I didn't catch it. Her age was of course 66. I'll correct it with an future video update.
Heh, you beat me to it by 2 hours. I saw that age and went, "Wait, what?"
@@listoholic4507 I really enjoy these posts. Good music. Some of these people I watched all my life but didn't know their names.

@@listoholic4507 You are doing fine!🇺🇸
Show was good when it stuck to comedy. Was ruined when Alda got all preachy and turned it into his private rostrum
Crazy number of actors born in 1931,32,33.
Walter O Riley! Radar! MASH. Glenn
2:45 1939 - 2000 does not add up to 80 years

Loved lt. Kellye roles in mash
Thats creepy the average age of them maybe below 70, but there might be 40 still alive I would feel better seeing them since im about the same age.
Marcia Strassman was not 91 when she died (6:02).
Marcia Strassman. Loved her performances. But! Born 1948. Died 2014 ? (91) yrs old??? Not really.
