I feel the reason they overdosed was due to depression, stress, hectic schedules, and the pressure of fame, which led to them turning to drugs to cope.
Brian Jones was out of it. Yes. But, just before a contractor died, he confessed, throwing Brian in the pool. Brian owed him monies for work he'd done on his house. Jones was totally out of it. Let that contractor burn in HELL!!
No te preocupes no conozco a ningún marihuano que por más que fume se haya muerto o intoxicado.. no creo que seas la excepción no tienes tanta suerte 😂😂😂 sigue fumando lo único que morirán son tus neuronas Pero poco a poco
I like the Rory Gallagher comment. That one was left out. David Byron of Uriah heep is the one I like. For lack of a better word. How can you like on someone's death. I feel he definitely ranks as one of the best singers ever.
27 club 💔 I will never get over Prince, Michael Jackson, Tom Petty, and Taylor Hawkins Death 😭😭 also Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington either. Fuck it still hits me hard today. I was only a year old when Kurt Cobain left us
It's crazy how many talents died at the same age for the same reasons. Drugs and alcohol are extremely powerful especially in the hands of over achieving people. They never can seem to find a balance, when the tolerance, pressures of the lifestyle, depression and self absorbed criticisms becomes too much to handle the need for a release is apparently obvious and these musicians give into the temptation. What they fail to realize is that the drugs and alcohol make the issues worst and creates a callus over any reasonable thoughts and instead inserts irrational and self loathing thoughts when these intoxicants aren't consumed. Causing in most cases irreversible damage. Unfortunately these talents never used the addiction of being successful and being a role model to their fans and using all that angst and irrational thoughts to music and relying on the strength of loyal people and themselves to overcome any odds they may face. Fortunately there are many talented artists that have and continue to impress with their musical and personal contributions. Sure some were lucky and most were smart enough not to cross that line ✌🏽♥️
Yes, but we can also add the "friends" who gravitate around the celebrities, and who are in fact a swarm of parasites who are always close to the stars when they are bad and who have the little pill that will fix everything...
According to a living Finnish rock legend, in the midst of long tours, changing accommodations, making records, etc., Heroin became a holiday in the midst of rush and stress.
Fame and fortune requires a great Deal of restraint !! When money is no object the party and the feeling of escape from pressures must be overwhelming !!!
I still don’t think Kurt shot himself with the amount of heroine in his system that shotgun would have been unstable and he would have never managed to get the barrel of the shotgun in his mouth. Not to mention he wouldn’t have been able to even get to the trigger his arms would be spazzing out
Everyone has pain in their lives but they don't OD. These people were just plain stupid to do drugs. The rock music scene seems very toxic. Those who didn't get pulled into it dodged a bullet. Never heard of most of them. It's sad that they essentially committed suicide this way.
All them died from excessive self confidence, they used hundreds times always increasing the dose thinking "I'm strong, will never die from this shit". Those who are alive have a better sense of self awareness, body limit understanding.
I show no sympathy for fools that had everything, fame, fortune and were never left wanting, yet destroyed their lives, There are many struggling for survival from day to day in this world that never get a mention
It’s because most are from working class backgrounds and end up with to much money therefore an endless supply of Drugs and no one to answer to 😳🏴🏴🏴
I look at this situation like it is... The Devil came to claim what is his.😢 Foolish people made a deal. He made them rich and famous like they wanted. And now they are paying the piper😮.😢
I don’t know. Like the Doors song Riders on the Storm. ‘Into this World we’re thrown’. I think that life is really fragile and some people are born into certain situations that they may not be able to control. I don’t believe that they deserved it, necessarily, I just think that we are born to our individual fates. Some of us live long and some of us don’t. I don’t attach acrimony to any of these individuals or the ‘well, they deserved it’ attitude. It is what it is. A thousand years from now, a drop in the bucket of geological time, none of us will matter, not one little bit.
Phil Lynott should be on this list.
Founder, songwriter and bassist for THIN LIZZY.
Wasn`t he shot by his G.F.? Or am I confusing him with Felix Pappalardi? Hmm, I got to check up on that. Cheers!
Damn straight
Alan Wilson from Canned Heat. Drug overdose, 27 years old.
Watching my father battle with Alzheimer’s I’m just wondering what is so great about living to the point where your body fails?
Tommy Bolin (Deep Purple)
What's the guitar solo soundtrack? Please. Thank you. ✌
Who the hell does coke at 76?
When Chris Cornell died, I was shocked. Still difficult to believe.
So many heroin overdoses. The ultimate numbing drug. When the pain is too much to bear.😢

John Bonham was a great drummer.
Tom Petty's death hit me hard.
Addicts don't grow old, because they die young..RIP addicts 💉💊🍾🍷
Janice looked like 47, not 27. 😓
This video really hit hard. So many great musicians gone too soon. Thank you for shedding light on their struggles and keeping their legacy alive.
Ike was 76 😂
I feel the reason they overdosed was due to depression, stress, hectic schedules, and the pressure of fame, which led to them turning to drugs to cope.
BS!
They made bad choices and/or were too stupid to undo them.
@@dadeo8957 Agreed, too much to soon..........spoilt.
Nope.
Absolutely true. Overwhelmed with their lives.
...there is a LOT of age 27s' in that list...
Brian Jones was out of it. Yes. But, just before a contractor died, he confessed, throwing Brian in the pool. Brian owed him monies for work he'd done on his house. Jones was totally out of it. Let that contractor burn in HELL!!
"Hit me just one more time I can handle it"-John Belushi.
I don‘t think that killing yourself while being intoxicated is dying from an Overdose…
Good Video though!!!
I've tried to OD on weed every day for the past 30 years. I'm still here.
No te preocupes no conozco a ningún marihuano que por más que fume se haya muerto o intoxicado.. no creo que seas la excepción no tienes tanta suerte 😂😂😂 sigue fumando lo único que morirán son tus neuronas Pero poco a poco
But are you still here…?

Peter Steele from Type O Negative should be in the list...
Tom Petty was not only a singer, but the voice of Lucky on King Of The Hill. I will always remember his music, but also the KING OF THE HILL cartoon.
27 seems to be the age to checkout. Sad.
At 27 its time to grow up. Can't put off adulthood any longer at 27.
David Byron a rockstar 24/7 but the bottle finally won rip
Wow I’ve never seen so many 27s 😮
It’s called the 27 Club
Steve Clark a legend
27 club 💔 I will never get over Prince, Michael Jackson, Tom Petty, and Taylor Hawkins Death 😭😭 also Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington either. Fuck it still hits me hard today. I was only a year old when Kurt Cobain left us
What kind of wonderful music is playing?
Some of them are part of the 27 club.

Most of these guys did drugs before they were famous and were broke, what do you expect when you give a junkbomb a million bucks?
The candles that burn twice as bright often burn out half as long.
Everyone in the music industry really needs to take it easy when they turn 27 years old! The 27 curse has taken a whole lotta 'em!
I still don’t think Kurt shot himself with the amount of heroine in his system that shotgun would have been unstable and he would have never managed to get the barrel of the shotgun in his mouth. Not to mention he wouldn’t have been able to even get to the trigger his arms would be spazzing out
Hillel Slovack ❤
You need to do more bios of the more famous people. Don’t skip any
Heartbreaking!!!😢
Jimmy The Rev Sullivan is missing from the video ✨
Bonham didn’t OD…
Outstanding info thank you
Whitney Houston is ROCK Star??
They had the money to do drugs it's all about self control they knew what they were doing they knew the risk
What is the guitar music used here?
Nice laided back vibe.
It’s always an “accidental “ overdose, like the user wasn’t trying to stick a needle in his/her arm
Cornell
Elvis wasn't a junkie, he took prescription medicines. Janis Joplin meanwhile, was a walking pharmacy
Nobody mentions the biggest drug of all.. the music itself.
Sometimes it's better to be a nobody that way you live a little bit longer sad 27 is the number to checkout in life

....and the dice keeps on rolling.. who's next?
So much waste of all that talent... but be sure those who made it to heaven??? Are definitely rocking it out the only way they know how!!!
wow a lot missing.
All them died from excessive self confidence, they used hundreds times always increasing the dose thinking "I'm strong, will never die from this shit". Those who are alive have a better sense of self awareness, body limit understanding.

How many were murdered to boost album sales?
No GG Allin ?? If Darby and Sid you consider a rock star , the great GG Allin should be in ... r i p
This is super fucking depressing. Cheers.
Never heard of Darby Crash. In fact, I never heard of many of these people.
That's because you're ill-informed and definitely not the Professor Of Life.
It’s because most are from working class backgrounds and end up with to much money therefore an endless supply of Drugs and no one to answer to 😳🏴🏴🏴

Bradley Nowell and his dog died in a car accident
Don't feel bad for any of them, Zeppelin is my favorite band but I don't even feel bad for Bonham. They did it to themselves.
I look at this situation like it is...
The Devil came to claim what is his.😢
Foolish people made a deal.
He made them rich and famous like they wanted. And now they are paying the piper😮.😢
George Michael?
Dead Rockstars on parade
Not sorry for them, they chose to die like they did.

No one dies from drugs. They die from drug overdose. That’s the difference.
No sympathy
