Absolutely excellent what a beastie. The real one derives 35 percent of it,s lift from the Fuselage so I suspect this will do the same. Looks and sounds like the real one and that climb rate just epic. Hey Chad got to know more about his plane and the process and was great to see the interaction through the vids. Bloody Awesome is all I can say 👍👌😎
Jonathan YOU THE MAN. What a awesome build, very sweet Jet. Just a Thought next Spring get a Lawn Roller and Roll the H of your Landing Strip. It will help the Bumps. lol #1 RC Jet Builder.
Wow I was mesmerised with this flight. She sounded so scale. All that hard work paid off, well done. Hope we get to see the cockpit for an update one day 👍🏻
I have order the same f15 but what retracts have you got rotation struts (E ) or the f15c straight up and down (non rotation) also thinking just pulling in electrons .
Great job as always, I'm glad you got your nose gear pin issue taken care of. Since you put the harder pin is it required to beef up the nose gear area? The global guys did at least get back to you about it, I did meet them at the Hemet event. Cuz they asked me to bring my l-39 down. Talking to them about starting my waiver process. I'm definitely wanting a scale get for my first turbine. Not a big fan of sports jets.
That was the response we got from them. If they supplied a harder pin the area would require reinforcement. I think it's built very well as it is so we plan on keep it as is. Congrats on starting the waiver process!
Hi Jonathan, Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! Tremendous maiden. Did she have any bad tendencies? The F-15 is my second favorite jet, the F-86 my first. Have unbuilt kits of both from the 90's. When my body heals a bit, may try get them both out for building. You and Katie stay safe.
It would be a bit of a chore to find something as most of the mid size F15's are setup for a single engine but anything can be converted. If you find one that is setup for a single 100N into a Bifib pipe it should be possible.
How much does this thing weigh? Good job on the maiden! looked like you had a good handle on on things rite away...you never know what could bite you on the first take off...but really good piloting skills!
@@thelightersideofrc I was goofing off, I am sure that building one of those models requires great skill and experience...I wish I had the time to build one of these....I am retired but....
Thanks for watching! The maiden went great!
That Eagle is IMPRESSIVE, fast and well put together
Thanks 😊. She is a great plane!
@@thelightersideofrc you gotta put an fpv set up in one of these things, not only would it be really cool but your audience would grow by alot

Oh nick! You should see this plane now with Twin Swiwin 190’s. It’s perfect 🤩
All I can say is "Great Job" the plane sounded and flew like a real one. I know the owner is very happy. Wow!!!!
Thanks Hank! Yea I think he was very happy! 😂😊
Nice smooth maiden and dang that thing is FAST!
Thanks! Yea she has a good amount of power!
That awesome feeling of seeing months of work successfully lifting off. 👌🏻👍🏻
Exactly!😎 very happy!

Thanks Gregory! Thanks for the kind words and watching!
Keeping it high and getting it trimmed was my high school motto!
😂
Sweet ride. Great job.
Thanks!
Congratulations - that's a hot F-15. Seems like it has more than enough power.
Oh yea! She’s got plenty of punch! Thanks 😊
Great job buddy! Sweating out the little details has made one nice flyer! She purdy too!
Thanks 😊. I was very happy to get the first couple flights on it and Chad will have a blast with this plane!
Man do I love that sound
Pure bliss!😎😊
You are the Chuck Yeager of RC . That was sick . Great job !
Haha 😂. Thanks 😊
This is just great, I watched the take off a couple of times. Well done and great job. The owners smile says it all !!
Thanks Johan!
Amazing job!

Incredible.... Awasome..... Nice.....
Many many thanks
wow this bird looks amazing and sounds even better, beautiful landing as well
Thanks!
Absolutely stunning jet! Best of luck with it! Cheers!👍🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
That is very impressive! Congratulations on a successful build and maiden flight!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Well done Jonathon, expertly built and expertly flown😄👍
Thanks Ian. 😊
Very nice maiden. She looks great 👍. Next investment should be a good camera so we can see the jet fly lol 😆
HAHA. Agreed. Problem is having someone that can also use it!
Wow, more like the heavy side of RC. In weight and pure pucker factor!
haha. Yea this F15 is girthy and hefty!
beautiful
🥳😎
What a sound!
Twins are always so dang cool!
Great Maiden flight, awesome build Jon! Looks like she used every ounce of the runway. 🍻🍻Stellar!
Thanks Hal! 😎
Congratulations on a great maiden!!!

Sweet ride! Excellent maiden flight.

Nice build Jonathon..!! Awesome maiden too...!
Thanks! The owner will have fun with this one!
@@thelightersideofrc He sure will...!!
Beautiful, love to see it fly when it is all set up and dialed in.
Great job, beautiful plane and nice first flight.
Long time after the unboxing video.
Thanks 😊
Yea! Have to make sure it’s right for the maiden!
A great channel, from the box, to the build and first flight - connected well.
Thanks Rob!
Damn I wish I lived near you folks so I phase into turbines and fly with that group and learn.
Thanks 😊. Would be nice to have many more close to us! Always a fun time at the field!
Simply AWESOME bro! Thanks for sharing all the build (it was painfully long!) but an awesome F15 flight.
Thanks 😊
That's a big, beautiful jet. The maiden seemed to go really well, cant wait to see it fly in person down the road. Congrats on a safe flight
Thanks Daryl! Yea maiden was awesome 😎
Excellent job as usual Jonathan, congrats for the professional build and maiden flight!!
Thanks 😊
Ouah!!! you got a little bit "adrenaline" may be ? smile. Great job, great flight, congratulations !
Thanks Philippe!😎
Awesome! F-15s are so neat!
I agree! Thanks for watching!
Excellent!!!
Thanks 😊
Nice job!
Thanks!😊

HA. Thanks Stefano!

Hello Dom. The retracts are the non rotational model. Also Chad (the owner) installed ER50's this past winter. Much better.
@@thelightersideofrc Thank you ,great help i am going for the same set up.
Awesome plane and video. Now you just need some pilots in there
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
Big day! The plane flew great! 2nd flight landed with air brake on! Thanks for watching!
Is there a video of that 2nd landing with air brake deployed? Also, why not use takeoff flaps, especially on grass? Great flight!
Just flippin' awesome.tw
Thanks!
Perfect!
Thanks Dean!
Wow 😳😳😳💜💜💜💜
😎
I can see that it’s a twin turbine but what turbines do you put on it
At the time 160’s now it has 190’s

Thanks Don!😎. No bad tendencies at all! On second flight full flaps and air brake up, no elevator compensation required! Awesome 😎.
@@thelightersideofrc Hi Jonathan,
Great news. Will be looking forward to that video. :-)
I am thinking of building this jet what weight did it come in on .Kilo's Thanks
Sorry I can’t remember offhand what it came in at. If you check out the build series we put it on the scales in one of the last videos
is there a smaller jet size for example using 2 turbine engines measuring (x45)?
It would be a bit of a chore to find something as most of the mid size F15's are setup for a single engine but anything can be converted. If you find one that is setup for a single 100N into a Bifib pipe it should be possible.

Full of fuel it’s about 74 lbs. thanks for watching!😎
What's the next build ? Can't wait for the new build videos
I think the A10 should be here this week!
Curious as to why you were flying dirty? Was it because it was the maiden flight or were there mechanical issues?...
Once of the gear decided it didn't want to come up. so just dropped them and flew it dirty.
Of course on the next few flights it was perfect.
@@thelightersideofrc I was wondering about that! Thanks!
When can we expect a follow-up video and really see what that bird can do?
Waiting for fire ban to be lifted before we fly it at the location we can again.
It's fast.......
Oh yea! It has plenty of push!!!
Hi I have the same jet and doing a twin with KT-160’s also do you have an email address I have many questions?
Hello Dave. Cool! thelightersideofrc@gmail.com
👍
Thanks 😊
Curious, what is the cost for a model like this? $100k
most large twins like this end up about 25K usd.
At that price, can I buy two??
@@thelightersideofrc I was goofing off, I am sure that building one of those models requires great skill and experience...I wish I had the time to build one of these....I am retired but....
So you have all the time in the world of your retired! 😉🤣
@@thelightersideofrc I should add, if I had the extra $$, tools and the skill....lots involved in this type of project....
and ....fast enough
😎
The expense and vulnerability of these planes make them absurd.
Not at all! Makes it fun!
