What is a chain in Australia that is really huge there, that may be considered not-as-good by American standards? Like is Wendy's or Arby's the GOAT there? Dominos? I'd LOVE to see more Aussie eps for sure! Also, do the Hungry Jacks have similar menus to the Burger Kings here? You don't have to answer me, lol, I'm just excited to learn more about what's going on there :) I've ALWAYS wanted to visit! And I'd love to see Aus/UK episodes too, if only to see sweet, sweet Harry

I work at an aussie maccas, some of the things mentioned that werent there like malteezer mcflurry and the pie and mozarella sticks were only available for a certain period (usually 6wks) so milo mcflurry and malteezer werent ever available at the same time at least in vic. We also have crispy chicken snack wraps and the smaller wraps are all 8" wholemeal wraps. We have summer and winter promotions in 2 phases and thats when we have new stuff and sometimes things stay. We also have a mcrispy like the US which replaced the chicken deluxe which also came in both crispy and grilled. We also have chocolate soft serve, not all locations yet again in Victoria at least. Love to have aus here but not fully accurate but that may vary if youre from sydney.

That's not a current menu in Australia, it looks a few years old.
The crispy chicken deluxe is gone it's now the McCrispy like the US. The McFeast has not been on the menu for a while, it comes and goes. The toys switched to cardboard a while ago, (mostly card games like Pokemon or TopTrump) for easier disposal, but you can get a mini brick McDonalds store as an extra.
In addition to the regular M&M and Oreo McFlurry, they now do them with chocolate soft serve and had a TimTam McFlurry.

Back in the early 2000’s I used to manage the Maccas in Broome, WA. Which at the time was the most logistically remote McDonald’s in the world, with all our stock coming up from Perth over 2000km’s away. We were closer to Bali. If we ran out of anything we had to transfer it from Port Hedland, the next nearest store, over 600km’s away.
Due to Subways success Maccas jumped on the fresh made sandwich trend, with the Deli Choices menu, it was a disaster. We also used to do roast chicken (chook), like Red Rooster when I first started though and it was tasty. What happened to the McOz burger with beetroot?

From that quick look at the deluxe quarter pounder, it looks to have almost the same ingredients as a McFeast, which is just a Quarter pounder with lettuce, mayo and tomato.
I think the video was filmed a few months back now too - mccrispy has replaced some of the chicken burgers and the milo McFlurry was limited time only (unfortunately).
Most of the time McCafé drinks are also not barista made in other parts of the world. Usually it’s coffee out of a machine in other countries.
For those interested, food items are made to order (from some precooked items) in Australia. You won’t find those racks with burgers sitting in them for ages waiting to be picked.

They're called scallops in Southern England but fritters everywhere else in the UK. "Potato cake" here refers to Irish potato farls/scones

7:15 I heard there's a kids lunch law in Australia that stated a kids lunch should consist of a main, snack, fruit, and a drink. Maybe they add the grape tomatoes to adhere to this law? 😅

That's really interesting about they way cattle is grown around the two countries. I've heard Americans say that cattle is mostly grain fed, but I always understood Australian cattle to be mostly grass fed so we argued about that. Looks like we were both right.

Another version of scallop vs cake is parma vs parmi for chicken parmigiana (an Aussie pub staple) - its just insane lol. I do remember seeing potato scallop and think: isnt scallop a fish? 😂

the nuggets arent correct australia has 6 nuggets sizes. 3,6,10,20,24,40. also the mcfeast isnt apart of them menu its only apart of the limited time menu. the mcrispy deluxe we have in aus too. mozzerella sticks are also not part of the menu but were a limited time item. the creme brulee also was limited time only item same with the milo and malteeser mcflurry and the rasberry custard pie. also with the sauces ive never eve heard of them being a thing here before so assume thats also a limited item. honestly really disapointing to see so many things wrong in this video. and misleading to say so many limited time menu items are exclusive to aus when its not even apart of our regular menu.

not sure why they didn't mention the major difference with the eggs. this 'folded egg' situation does not exist in australia. ALL the eggs are cracked eggs, and are indeed cracked fresh. the folded egg things look and taste like they were premeasured and frozen. the cracked eggs are just eggs.
