But you can call both a sandwich, because sandwich is a very general term which can be used to describe 2 pieces of bread with ingredients in the middle. What is a burger? 2 pieces of bread with ingredients in the middle. But, we use the term burger because they have a burger bun, rather than 2 slices of bread, so when you ask for a burger, you know what you're getting. And I'm going to be very controversial here. A hotdog is a sandwich.

    • @Sevicify
      @Sevicify 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can still get the 3 wicked wings, you just need to ask them for a Zinger Box with wicked wings (or you could ask for a single original piece, I often like to get a breast or rib piece in mine). Mind you it was utterly dumb how they changed the default option to the boneless pieces and you have to explicitly asked for wings.
      This caught me and my brother out one night where we only got two wicked wings instead of three, I noticed in the drive thru but he distracted me about the drinks and drove off before I could tell him about the missing wings. We decided to keep going instead of turning back, he rang the KFC about 15 minutes later to complain and they said we ordered boneless pieces because we didn't specify wings. We complained that was stupid and asked why we got wings instead of boneless, they argued we got boneless so we said we can send you a picture of the bones, that quickly shut her up and she said we could go back to get it fixed up but at that point we were long gone so she sent us a code for some free wings at a later date.

      @@Dr_KAP It's just dumb you have to ask for the wicked wings, it should have stayed as the default option when you don't ask for anything specific instead of the stupid boneless pieces. Also agree with switching the potato and gravy for chips, it's indeed a great idea. I usually get the regular size Zinger box and will always swap mine for more chips explicitly telling them to make it a single large chips instead of two small since you get more that way for the same price, if you don't tell them some may try giving you two small and a few still might even if you do tell them at which point you should double check your food before leaving (or ideally watch them prepare it) and ask to fix it up.

    Here in Canada our KFC menu is quite stripped down compared to these two, but we do have two items that are standouts:
    1) The "Famous Chicken Burger" - which is ginormous and meant to compete with Popeye's. It's super juicy. Website describes it as: "Triple breaded, buttermilk marinated chicken fillet, drizzled with buttery garlic oil, 3 sweet pickles, double mayo on a potato bun"
    2) Poutine. Website describes it as: "KFC's take on a Canadian Classic. Crisp fries, cheese curds and gravy"

    As someone living in Australia for long time and originally from Taiwan, It's always exciting to see creativity and variety in food options, Taiwan's KFC is really pushing the boundaries with their menu. Hopefully, we'll see more diverse and creative offerings here in Australia too - who knows, maybe KFC will take some inspiration and spice things up Down Under! Cheers to hoping for some exciting new flavors! 🌶🍗
    In Taiwan KFC they have following varities:
    Roasted Chicken: Imagine perfectly roasted chicken with that crispy skin and tender meat. It's a game-changer, seriously.
    Portuguese Tarts: Yep, you read that right. KFC here serves up these delightful Portuguese tarts - flaky pastry filled with creamy custard. They're so indulgent!
    Peanut Butter Cheese Fry Chicken: Sounds wild, right? But trust me, it works. Picture this: juicy chicken coated in a crunchy peanut butter and cheese crust. It's a flavor combo you didn't know you needed until now.
    Roasted Chicken Burger: Forget the regular old burger - this one takes it up a notch. Juicy roasted chicken served up in a soft bun with all the fixings. It's a taste sensation, it comes in two main flaviour the original roasted or roasted with spicy coating.
    Sweet Potato Chips: Move over, regular fries. KFC here offers sweet potato chips that are crispy on the outside and oh-so-fluffy on the inside. They're the perfect sidekick to any meal.
    Each of these options brings something unique to the table, and the flavors are out of this world. It's got me thinking - why doesn't Australia's KFC offer more creative choices like these? With so much potential for deliciousness, it's time for KFC Down Under to step up their game and give us Aussies a taste of the extraordinary. Trust me, once you try these flavors, you'll be hooked!
    And guess what? The deliciousness doesn't stop there! Taiwan's KFC even has a breakfast menu that'll make your mornings ten times better. Get ready for some serious breakfast envy:
    Omelette Sandwich: Start your day right with a fluffy omelette sandwiched between two slices of soft bread. It's the perfect blend of savory and satisfying.
    Oatmeal Meal: Need a wholesome breakfast option? Look no further than KFC's oatmeal meal. It's warm, comforting, and packed with goodness to fuel your day.
    Hash Browns: Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - KFC's hash browns are the ultimate breakfast sidekick. They're so addictive, you'll want to order extras.
    Egg Wrap: Take your breakfast to-go with KFC's egg wrap. It's a delicious combination of scrambled eggs, cheese, and your choice of fillings, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla.
    And of course, they still offer their famous fried chicken varieties for breakfast because, let's be honest, who wouldn't want to start their day with some finger-lickin' goodness?
    I don't know about you, but just thinking about these breakfast options has me drooling. It's like KFC here has cracked the code for the perfect morning meal. Australia's KFC could definitely take a leaf out of their book and expand their breakfast menu to include some of these mouthwatering options.
    Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these mouthwatering options. Let's hope Australia's KFC takes note and spices things up a bit!

    Way back in the 1970s I worked at a Kentucky Fried Chicken. Everyone knew the best side was to mix the individual mashed potatoes and gravy with the coleslaw. I didn't like chicken until I worked there and discovered breast meat. For desserts we not only had the Little Bucket Parfaits but also homemade pies made by the owner's mother.
    The mashed potatoes were just instant flakes. Also, we made the coleslaw in big tubs where we mixed the dressing with the slaw mix using hands and arms. The tubs were so deep we would be up to our elbows in slaw and dressing (literally).
    Apparently, our location was so good that some bigwigs from corporate came to visit. This was before Yum Brands took over. We didn't have a drive-thru however, we could get people in and out in 2 minutes on $5 bucket nights. Mind you with 100% accuracy on the orders. I know this because our manager timed us one night.

Our 'scones' are neutral tasting dough, usually paired with strawb jam & cream ... (personally I like lots butter and honey on my scones ;) ) ...

      US KFC sucks too, but is delicious in various Caribbean countries. I've heard New Zealand KFC is pretty good and that India's KFC is mediocre. Popeye's is where it's at imo.

    KFC here in Australia use to have the best BBQ chicken and the special stuffing was so good I wish they bought it back. I have never tasted anything that comes close. Also don't know why they stopped selling cobs of corn. I was very unique to KFC

      You can find ranch at some places in Australia. Subway has it now as a regular topping. It's not nearly as popular here of course but "anywhere for anything"?

    13:46 - the KFC pie was tried in the Australian and New Zealand markets LONG ago but it failed, mainly because we had higher standards down under regarding meat pies and like Starbucks and coffee, no one was going to pay for an overpriced pie vs the cheaper and better competition LOL. I remember it well and everyone in both countries felt the same way, it wasn't totally terrible but just laughably overpriced

    What happened with go buckets? Why were they not mentioned in here for Australia? As a KFC employee I feel like it needs to be mentioned. I give it an honorable mention as an employee, a small cup sized bucket $4.95 filled with chips and 4 types of chicken to go in with the lid, popcorn chicken, 1 original tender, 2 wicked wings or 3 nuggets with the purpose to be made easy in up to 5/10 seconds as a snack for the road given that it is called the go bucket.

  • @A_singularperson13
    @A_singularperson13 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    The wicked wings dont have a spicy marinade under them, they are just coated with the same stuff the zinger is. Anything ‘spicy’ at kfc australia is just the same breading as the zinger
