Just watching trip smith and this channel was recommended, and I’m so glad I did!! Love the simple, no nonsense approach to that boat. The only thing it’s missing is a small ac unit (I live in south Louisiana, it’s currently 97degrees) I love that you paired twin Honda 50’s on it. Enough to get out of nasty weather quickly, but not guzzling gas. I’ve seen diesel outboards making it’s way into the market, have y’all considered a diesel outboard? They’re pricy but the trade offs seem worth it on paper. Anyhow, subscribed!
Hi there, you folks inspired me to try the C-dory experience! I've purchased a, '06 23Cape Cruiser!. If I'm reading the hull number correctly it's the 19th build in '06. so although not exactly a C-Dory it is the same hull as the '23Venture. Close enough for me! In this video you explain that you are updating your electronics, Everything in my "new" boat is dated, and the Radar doesn't work so I'll be updating everything before putting it in the water in the spring. Could you please share what , you are updating your radar to" also for charts, etc... and could you address auto pilot ? and the device that makes the boat signal appear bigger than in is to other boaters? Thanks so much!
an RV-er, here. an awkward but vital point of order . . . since the 22' doesn't appear to have a dedicated head, how does one use the bathroom while underway and camping? the old van-life bucket? please expand on your experience. thank you so much, and hugely thank you for your excellent pieces. -Charlie

It’s not the end, seems like a lot of projects to do and equipment to order up. Oh well always a next season. Thanks for sharing this one.
Sometimes I think of removing the bulkhead on the portside of the berth to make it easier to get in and sleep.
Definately a good idea, makes it difficult to get in and out for sure!

We have a cassette toilet in the boat in the V birth area. Thank you for watching!!
Look for a C-Dory in Florida. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
boating season might be done for you. but at least video all the upgrades getting done to keep us updated on progress.
Not having a shower is a big no for me. Especially on long trips. And I'm a lifelong boater.
Should just shrink wrap your boat for winter
Yes however it's more convenient for us since we are changing locations, thank you for watching
