So.... Would you discourage someone from the wood composite C-Dory 22'???? They're almost identical. For my needs, the 22' is plenty. But I'm sacred of the wood rotting. I know this clip is old... I hope you see this and can help. I want to use it in the Florida Intracoastal Waterway and VERY near shore on VERY calm mornings. Thank you.
Yes! The wood sucks especially the fact they use Poly resin with wood which isn't waterproof like epoxy of vinyl ester. I redid the core on my angler 19.
When people sell boats-they never show em in rough water--they don't want to scare off people who think they will always be "fun in the sun". Don't get me wrong, these are nice from all I here--just saying.
You're absolutely right! It's actually much more difficult to shoot in rough water (camera equipment, drivers, etc.), but we will do our best to try to capture some footage in rough conditions in the future! Thank you for your input. :-)
We went with a C-Dory 22 because they weigh a whole lot less, require less motor on the back, you won't need a much larger truck to pull it, and the alluminum boats dang sure aren't drafting 8 inches. C-Dorys ROCK!!! We get a 250 mile range on 46 gallons of gas. Have a great week and stay blessed. 😎👍
A foot doesn't sound a lot but when applied to a boat it makes a surprising difference., in terms of hull and Sea keeping and how many features and how much it can carry. If you look at manufacturers websites you'll see what I mean.
@@MasterMarineBoats I found out with some research that cape dory went out of business a long time ago other manufacturers are building boats and using their name thats why the boats are so close together in length different manufacturers have different hulls
Can't wait for our new 23. Master Marine has been great to work with:-)
Thanks Kirk! It's been a pleasure working with you as well!
That looks like a cute little lake boat or very calm weather close to shore boat. I like the cozy little cabin.
It's honestly a great lake and sea boat. The cabin is super cozy and the interior is gorgeous!
We own a very similar C-Dory 22, run it in the open ocean. It's quite sea-worthy, can take a lot more punishment than the passengers.
Love that little boat
I love how the v berth is comfortable enough for two full grown " Humans"
Nice boat that, with handy features.
Nice boat.
I'd love to have one.. Used.. No motor.. Old... No leaks, fair shape... Cheap for project
the boat used by william least heat-moon in his book river horse
These seem to be grp versions of stabicraft. I'm assuming they are a good bit cheaper.
Congratulations , beautiful boat. Could be Diesel ????
You could put a diesel engine on this if you wanted. :-)
@@MasterMarineBoats Great , thanks a lot. One day.....✌

My future boat
Is there any wood in the older C-Dorys?
Maybe I missed it. Did you mention anything about a "head" on board?
I can’t afford a C-Dory. So I’m building a Tolman Jumbo instead.
But where is the toilet ?
I agree was odd he didn’t show the head
It’s hidden in the v-berth
Where do I buy one?

СКОЛЬКО СТОИТ? БЕЗ МОТОРА
don't like the throttle being buried so low
Adult Units?? Really?? Nice boat by the way.
Why not just buy an aluminum boat?

What do you mean 2 full groan humans. ??? Did you mean men or people ???
So I see on the internet that people state they have a Cdory 22,23,24,25 why would a boat maker build boats only one foot apart don't make sense to me

We agree with the above. It makes more of a difference than you imagine. ;-)
