My wife and I love these little towns! Such a great boating area we have here in the Puget Sound. We're considering stepping up from our Bayliner 18ft Trophy walk-around, and the C-Dory 22 cruiser is high on my list. Completely agree with how abruptly the lane assist braking could be unsafe. This especially could cause an incident with vehicles following behind that may not be prepared for an extremely sudden braking event.

Seems that the 1000 watt inverter would charge the system faster than the Ecoflow alternator and for a lower upfront cost. Is your inverter just set up on a manual switch?

This thing is garbage. It does nothing to fix the 3.0L lag from a dead stop until the turbo powerband hits... verified that it's installed correctly because in theft mode the pedal is disabled and in sport mode it's maybe slightly more peppy on the high end but that was never an issue. It doesn't spool up like the new 2.0L high outputs with a 9 speed. I have 11 of these vans (fleet) and know them well and this was a waste of $300. My advice, save your money and buy a high end catch tank like the Aluminum Terratuff, best upgrade that and a coolant heater for cold nights if you live in cold weather to reduce cold start issues. And keep lucas diesel anti gel in the cab. This pedal box was not impressive though at all and seems like placebo effect

I just purchased a 2019 sprinter 4x4, upon reading the carfax i can see the DPF has been replaced, the trans was serviced and an oil leak was fixed, its just over 40k miles, like you said, i really do enjoy driving it.. i agree with all your thoughts about the nannies, theyre just annoying and should be removed

this is part of the 20k service, right? I need to find out what else is included in that service, because I believe they said they wanted like $2k to do it.

Our van came with the 360 cameras and they are awesome. Super easy to park. We have the 144 wheelbase with 4x4.

I have heard that the 20k oil change interval is too long and that it contributes to DPF and EGR issues. Hearing that going 10k will reduce maintenance issues (and getting the right oil). Thank you for your video

Very nice, I was researching how to hang 8020 cabinets in the van. Using L brackets is a very good idea. You created a shim point to square the cabinets. 8020 is always going to be square. You need a way to align this. I am looking at a puller that will cut a hexagonal hole for the plus/rivnut to prevent spin out. Unfortunately that tool is very pricey

That is a lot of boat for a 22 footer.

Lady stop warring. Isn't a fog as you describe. you still have the few hundred feet of viz. Trust your instruments and keep on going. Try a fog like we have in San Francisco where can't see the bow of your boat. And this is happening on the best part of salmon season in late part of the year. And believe me, no one misses it.

I'd rather buy an older model and recondition the engine than spend all that money only to end up with a long list of complaints.

what is meant by electronic steering? is it by wire, or is there linkage? if the power goes out, do you loose steering?

Your videos inspired us to get a 22. I have watched all your videos several times. I was curious if you could give me the info for the manufactor that mailed you that awesome welded Bimini frame? I remember you said it was constructed in Florida but that is all I could conjure up in my head. Anyway thanks in advance. Unplug the center speaker & just use the others ... it sounds 100% better when you do that... You will be so surprised.

What mounts did you use for the upper tire? Also what kind of lock did you use?

Hey Robert, where did you connect your 12v power lines for your inverter? Did you make new wires and run them directly to the battery? Is your solution still working well? Ecoflow is now selling an Alternator Charger, but they want $600! Looking for a more reasonable solution.

Why does CDory use a balsa core in its layup? Benefits or drawbacks?

I have a 2006 T1N sprinter with 206,000 mi. It's the best truck I've owned. You just need to maintain and repair them on your own. Mercedes sucks as a company.... You are on your own.
