This just pissed me off😡😂😂Not the video but the fact that ford made this so much of a hassle to remove. I’m at work pissed removing a customer’s cabin and he has this one. Thanks for the video though. Hopefully I can do it as quickly as you.😭
I’ve never seen one this dirty, especially with such low miles. I’m thinking the previous owner lived near the woods and the truck sat for extended periods.
Yikes! Good thing you took the time to check and replace that filter! I need to change the cabin filters on both of my trucks - I doubt they've ever been changed...can only imagine what kind of surprises await.
Are you sure the airflow arrow should point down? The cabin air filter pulls air through the HVAC system and out the vents. Is the HVAC return duct below the filter?
Yes, watch the video again. The dirt/leaves are collected on the top of the filter, which is the inlet side. The arrow points down indicating the air flows from top to bottom, as proven by the dirt/leaves.
Don’t forget to mention that when you push in on the tabs on the glovebox be careful of the rubber grommets on the glovebox posts. Otherwise the grommet on the center console side will disappear into the cavity behind the console, ask me how I know. Time to order another grommet.
Great video. Nice job.
Thanks!! I have 26k on my truck looked about like yours
It’s crazy how much dirt they collect, but I guess it’s doing its job right?
Thank you. Clear and concise without any babbling.
Thanks 🙏. It ain’t so hot 🥵 in Texas anymore.
Much thanks!

Thank you. I just did it following your video
Thank you
Thank you for this procedure, worked great ! 👍👨🔧 I could not find it in the owner's manual.
Thanks for watching!
Holy smokes! I know what I'm doing this weekend. Thanks for the video.

Good luck, I hope that helps!
Did it help? Mine is doing it, too?

Yeah I didn’t expect it to be that dirty, especially on a low mileage truck (only 21k on it).
Thanks for this. I just payed $110 and could have paid $16.

c'mon Ford don't put them in an easy location
I don’t think it gets too much easier than this…
well it certainly does. easy would be zero dis assembly to access said filter.
Have any examples of vehicles with zero disassembly?
Pretty easy... only 2 screws. You want it plumbed out in the open?
sorry I was drunk you're right that was extremely easy
