Have you done this with Cricut infusible ink sheets the same way using the Cricut mini easy press.thanks for haring this.

Happy New Year! Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I have not tried it with Cricut Infusible ink sheets yet. However, if you have a sublimation mug--I am pretty sure you can use the same technique. The only problem you may run into is, the heat being applied evenly all around the cup. I am adding this idea to my things to try. Thanks for this idea. I will try it soon.

  • @suemarie6032

I had no idea you could do mugs with the mini. You also mentioned not as good a result with the bigger heat press. I have no idea when things changed at Cricut (was the cup press out?) so I'm not sure if the bigger one you mentioned is the discontinued size below the 9x9? I would love to have that one.
I am debating between the mini and the 9x9. I'm trying to find out how small of a project can be done with the 9x9. I saw an ad where they put decals all over shoes but that had to be hard. I imagine the same could be said for odd areas like on hats.
Both are on sale at ridiculously low prices. I really wanted the 9x9 until I realized it may be too hard to do most small items. I would love your input.
    Thanks for sharing!

This was created before the Cricut mug press came out. Also, I would suggest the Cricut mini press. You can use it on mugs, shoes, hats, and so much more. If you're looking for the 9 x 9 heat press check facebook marketplace. People are selling them on there all the time.

@@ioufavors Thanks for the prompt reply and info. I'm in Canada and the 9x9, which has been as high as $270 is on sale right now for $150. I always thought that would be better than spending $100 on the mimi, but now thats's $49.
I do want it to be used for many diiff things, so I think I wil go with the mini. :)

It really depends on your preference. For mugs both are great. But if you want it to stay on without years down line due to washing both can come off sublimation is best.
