I love this sign! I can certainly use it for my craft area. So happy to see you use the cricut easy press mini. I’ve used the mini easy press more than I thought that I would. Great Job!
This is awesome. The htv pressed into painted wood. Thank you for this even tho I want to press sublimation into painted wood so I’m going to go try that and let you know if it worked. Ps. I don’t have a mini press but the big one as of this moment. I’m looking into the mini press
I love this so cute. When doing HTV on wood does it have to be a particular type. Like I have some wood blocks I want use and I wander if it would work when using the mini easy press on HTV with that type of wood. Thanks Bethany your tutorials are awesome. 🙂
Hi Bethany and others watching! Have you ever heard of a “tweexy” nail polish holder ring? It goes on two fingers and has slots in the top (which normally would hold a bottle of nail polish while you’re polishing nails) but serves perfectly as a receptacle for your vinyl scraps as you’re weeding. And I found mine on amazon for about $9. I saw this in someone else’s video and it is great. I thought it might help you!
I have seen them, and I’m glad you find yours handy! I’ve tried some weeding bins and it also seems easier for me to place mine to the side to sweep in the trash...but I know many love their holders!
@@darlenekrisak2962 oh yay! I have a lot of HTV on wood tutorials coming up for fall and winter so stay tuned! It is so much easier than trying to fiddle with adhesive vinyl, in my opinion.
mew subscriber here with a quick question, I noticed you used chalk paint. Are there specific paints this works with? are there paints i should stay away from?
You are teaching me so much! I’m so appreciative. I am anewbie with cricut and have had a Joy about a month. I am trying to decide if I need another machine. I know you have the explore.... do you recommend that or the maker? I know the maker does the most but just not sure if I need as much as it does.. also, it is pretty pricey to get the extras. I’m really trying to think if I can just hang with the Joy. Thoughts? Thank you so much!
I’m glad you’re learning so much! It’s really hard for me to recommend machines to others because it’s such a personal choice and you have to consider what materials you intend to cut with it. I’d encourage you to look at this a Cricut comparison so you can see the differences between all machines! help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009505193-Cricut-Machines-Comparison
So much fun! I have lots of messes that need to be blessed!!!
Ha ha, ditto!
I absolutely love watching your tutorials! Easy to listen to and you have wonderful ideas as well. Thank you!!!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.

So adorable... love that you used the mini for this project.💞💞💞
The mini made this project so easy!!
I sent this Video to my sister ... we were just talking about using HTV on painted wood ... she watched it and loved it.💞

This is absolutely adorable! Did you use anything to seal your painted surface before applying the HTV?
OMG Bethany, I am so going to duplicate this project, it’s so awesome. Thanks for sharing.... you are simply the best..!!
Yay! This is a fun one to duplicate, for sure!
Love your videos. Would love a tutorial on using the contour and slice feature and when to use it please. Cricut is all still new to me.
Thank you! I already have videos for both! If you check out my playlist called “Design Space Lessons” you will find each video!
@@Bethadilly fabulous. 😃 I will have a look.
Thank you, I always forget I can use HTV on other items ☺️ x
Yes! And it's much easier, in this case!
Hi Bethany, did you add any contact paper after for Cricut cut your project. I see your weeding on something clear.
Hi Madison! The clear material you see is the built in carrier sheet.

Can I use htv on painted wood if I used polycrylic over the paint?
Love it! Can you use the EasyPress with this project if you don’t have a mini press?
Lynn Foreman yes, absolutely!
@@Bethadilly Awesome! TY!
