To us it is normal to live like that. No big deal. When others laugh and joke with us it helps reduce the tics. We tic whether the stress is good or bad but usually we tic the most as we lay down at night from both the good and bad stressors of the day. When someone in my pickleball group hits a winning shot they yell "Ya baby!" at the top of their lungs like I do. I love when they do that. Just laugh and love around Tourette's, the tics are perfectly normal to me. I do wish I wouldn't have told my pharmacist to "Get f*ck*d" When I apologized he broke out laughing, he had just watched two people with Tourette's swearing at each other. LOL :)

back then, this would NOT have been normal, but...we live in a world now where there is literally no holds bar. Her tourette's tics would be considered normal now. But she shouldn't have to live this way which does make me sad, but I would be lieing if I said her tics weren't funny.

I'm not saying she doesn't have any genuine tics, or even Tourette's, but she is DEFINITELY acting and making no effort to control it. She could certainly prevent herself from cursing at people and flipping them off if she tried.
suppressing tics is super uncomfortable so i don’t get why anyone should have to control something they’re born with. but yeah, i do think she’s over exaggerating for the camera. i find it suspicious how her tics are ONLY inappropriate phrases and it looks like she’s just saying what she wants to say rather than it coming out of her mouth on instinct. if that makes sense
@@maledyv3126 Yeah I agree. Except there are some things that people need to at least try to control even if they truly are something they were born with. I mean for example some people are born with much more of a propensity towards violence or hotheadedness. They need to learn to control those.

My son has tourettes. We cut out all msg from his diet. MSG is a nuerotoxin and it shows up as different aliases in ingredient lists, like "natural flavors". This diet has subdued his ticks dramatically. The second he ingests MSG he has ticks within minutes.
