@@Corabar im looking into buying a cheap one and if its anything like the q7 from around the same time 2009 to be exact its terrible, once you have an issue its extremely expensive to fix i mean like 4 or 5 grand minimum and you HAVE to take to audi dealers who are americans and have no idea what they are doing with the complicated german tech from 10 years ago let alone the newer ones
is it constantly spitting check engine lights? do you have to take to audi dealer for simple fixes because regular shops dont have the required tools to diagnose and or repair it? does it cost a few grand everytime something goes wrong?
@@BSABD315 no! Mine is at 120k miles. It’s pretty straight forward stuff just not much space in the engine bay and a different set of tools. A common issue for these is carbon build up if you keep it clean the motor is healthy as well as the 01E manual transmission is a highly praised one that’s been refined over years. Overall pretty reliable cars my first Audi and I do all my regular maintenance at home .
My dad has the automatic 2008 but its giving him engine problems but now he bought an 4.2 v8 audi rs5 engine and hopefully it will be ok ,rn the engine of that car isnt inn the country i am in
Hows the shopping going? Reliability is as good as any other v8's, aslong as maintenance has been followed since start, its a safe buy. V8 engine is bullet proof aslong as everything is done properly. Carbon buildup is the only threat which should be done around 100k km, if it isnt, then youre looking at 100hp loss. This can be done anytime but the longer you wait the worse and more expensive it gets. Fuel line might crack but easy fix. Thermostat WILL fail but easy and not very expensive fix. Other than that its basic tear and wear. Edit; Check the control arms and bearing as they like to fail quickly, upgrading them to performance ones is the way to go. Also the clutch wears out quickly, so when you have to change it, change to a performance one aswell.

Cool! The V8 S5 is basically a German Mustang except its AWD and doesn't crash into crowds.
Hahahaha that had me cracking up😂😂😂
the last naturally inspired v8
LOL
I love the quattro assistance, my wife felt it when she first road in it
One of my favorite comments ever 😂 I’m buying a black 2012 s5 4.2 next week, I’m so stoked
I love my 09 S5! Not the fastest thing out there but makes up for it with the sleek look and sound! Great cruiser and handles the canyons well!
its fast enough 5 seconds to get to 100 km. lol
Honored to have her make another appearance on the channel 🤙
I'm glad your hat made an appearance in the back seat
I have one of these...and I bloody love it so much! I still love it as much as I did when I got it 5 years ago!
Iv only had mine a year now but I really enjoy it, amazing in Canadian winters.
How’s reliability?
is it as slow as it seems in this video? lots of bark barely any bite?

@@BSABD315 yea you’re not going nearly as fast as it sounds like you are
coming from a fellow S5 owner.....heaven have mercy!
I've got a 2010 V8 6 manual fully customized .... love this car
Enjoy it!
mines is a 2010 fully stock lol

smooth shifting sir, enjoyed dis review.
Much appreciated, thanks for watching!
would be sick to see more videos like this
Agreed :) if people start watching them more, I’d love to make more!
Gorgeous car
Well thnx mate. Now the urges to buy it only grew😂
Currently window shopping a B8 or a B8.5 and I'm torn between the two. Seems like the sport diff would also really add to 'spirited' driving.
I don't know about the custom shifter boot but otherwise a lovely car. Thanks for the video

Nice review, is that the stock exhaust?
It doesn't sound stock with that kind of rumble.
This did have some modifications! I believe it had a muffler delete. The stock exhaust is not as loud
What year is it?
Real cool car
I really enjoyed making this one!
How’s the reliability? I’m considering one of these! They look super good

Perfection
Yup, definitely sounds like a robot, but the car is awesome, going to buy same one, but black, next week, cant wait!
mines is black, it is a robot, a transformer to be exact
God loves you guys!
how rare is the 6 speed
In the B8 not so much, however in the B8.5, very rare
4:37 and now, an American pretending to know what they’re doing in a manual car 😂😂😂
Did you have your script written by an AI bot?
this man a robot
Yup you got me, beep bop beep
That’s a weird looking miata
It sounded funny too.. no turbos and 4 extra cylinders
Probably my dream car but i know its just a money pit these days sadly.
Clean up the interior before making videos..geez
