Me, who completed the game's main campaign and most of the extra levels: "Oh neat, a tutorial overview! I know what I'm gonna do for my next 10 minutes."
I definitely enjoy this game more now that I’ve seen the tutorial. With the first video, it seemed like a nice game, but I had no clue what Tyler was doing. Understanding each of the pieces makes it so much more enjoyable
I picked this game up because of you, and decided to start off by doing cheapest cost run. I will say this, you do not know HOW many times I have accidentally mirrored the product and had to restart all over just to fix it. This game is still amazing regardless, and glad that I picked it up. but god is it annoying when you get everything finally working, just for it to be the exact opposite of what you are making.
Although I don't need a tutorial, I still watched this video because this game is so awesome, and Tyler is a great teacher. Good luck to anyone playing this game. Don't forget to push those leader boards to their limits.
I think this could be a fun chemistry game if you swap the reagents for actual chemicals and instead of bonding things together they automatically connect with things they can bond with when close enough. A lot of chemical compounds are represented with hexagonal drawings so using a hexagonal grid system like this would fit well… plus you could make it so everything has to be output somewhere to represent balancing equations. For example taking the inputs of glucose(a whole structure) plus oxygen forming the output of carbon dioxide and water compounds/structures and teaching various chemical and biochemical processes with how certain reactions take or release energy, etc…
You have pretty much described MOLEK-SYNTEZ, another game by the same devs as this one. The only significant differences I can immediately think of are (A) there is no concept of energy in that game and (B) it is possible to remove things from the playing field without outputting them. The way in which atoms can be manipulated is very different as well, you have "particle beam emmiters" around the edges of the field instead of arms, amongst other things (bonds between atoms are typically broken by forcing hydrogen to bond to one of them, for example). It's a different game, after all.
fun fact: you can mess with the levels. as such, i have made a long looping track in the track tutorial that takes... i haven't ran it fully yet, but it sure is gonna be a really long time to get through!
Would really like to get an explanation of how the cycles work and how they are counted. I got the game some time back and I'm struggiling to understand it. Any help would be appreciated.
Alright the tutorial is cool but being honest, I'm *NEVER* gonna play this, because I'm a high school Freshman and I'm only 15, and my pc is meant for school, but usually I only use it for playing roblox and watching youtube
Such a wonderful game, when you get to the end of the main story, it really forces you to use everything you've learned up till that point

@@kitthekat6844 Yeah, there's a story connected to each level, even has chapters to it. It's nothing amazing but it's there and it's not too bad.
Universal Solvent made me super concerned until I looked at it and realised that it was a lot easier than I thought at first
