16:30 In case anyone else doesn't get it, he didn't finish moving the first time he did it. He did the exact same movements, but in the first attempt, he didn't make the sun wait at all so he had an extra turn still. The second time he waited underneath the moon, which literally didn't change anything because the moon still had a right move.
Hey, since youre here, might i suggest a fun collab video, since tyler plays so many puzzle games and has a programming background, it would be cool if you did like a talking episode where you go through how you actually design puzzle lvls, whats the thought process behind it and such
@@Desterothx Not a bad idea but as i'm not a native english speaker it could be a bit painful to listen i think (Not that easy to speak about so specific subject for me) ^^'
Time travel games always such a cool consept. I think that, talking about puzzle games, they are one of my favorite types. Of course, the time travel may change between different games, but the base concept itself is cool
I love the idea of a variety of games. If I could give a suggestion of another strategy game to play, it would be FTL: Faster Than Light. Great game, full of replay potential, and even if you die (which you will, a lot), you still feel good because you had fun getting to where you got.
For anyone wondering the sun's moves are still affected by Moon moves but Moon has moves that are absolute meaning that he will get to the destination no matter what
So the Sun can be pushed by the moon, but the Moon will do EXACTLY what it did before without fail, and if it does fail, it dies, that's why it can seemingly walk on air, because it doesn't matter there's no longer a floor, it does EXACTLY what it does before, the sun however, just does the reverse of the inputs, and doesn't question when it doesn't work out the same way.
I like this! charming character and music, simple mechanics but not easy to master. Time traveling puzzles are always a blast to follow along solving! Like that Induction you played a few episodes 3 months ago.
@@malpaca not only the characters, but the sound design, the falling sand in the background, and the blue and golden hues and focus on the sun and moon... Very reminiscent!
It's programming in the sense of scheduling for sure, but also a little similar to machine code. Moving discrete things around with a timing component.
The title just reminds be so much of that old Smithsonian flash game "Meet Me At Midnight" about exploring an art museum and a weird monster creature and a field trip, anyone remember that? xD
Problem is as far as I know pixelverse is mobile and ridiculously hard. I've had my runs where I dominate, and runs where I can't catch any, any breaks.
Who's down for a variety week? Been doing a couple new games lately, and I've got more on my plate!
Yoooo! New Variety week!
Sounds good to me!
I do love variety
Yes
Play a horror game!!
Normal people: "day and night" or "sun and moon"
Tyler: "day and moon"
he's a little confused but he has the spirit
I didn't notice lmao
i was thinking sun and sea

And the moon can fly. It's pushy like that.

Why is it always the kind of adorable puzzle games that are the brain melting ones?
IT's cause they're baiting you into learning lol.
Me immediately thinking of BABA IS YOU
I really appreciate how you learn how the games work before the video starts
So glad you like the game ! Thanks for giving it a try

The moon having no legs isn't just a design choice but it explains part of the gameplay neat.

Kinda wanna draw the characters now. I love me some time shenanigans. Also, I got a Parabox ad beforehand.
That has to have been on purpose, I’ve never seen ads for it elsewhere.
same here, first time seeing one
I got two of them
I got one on this video and on his previous video
Lmao I got an ad for Patrick’s parabox
Same
Bro same!
Same
I've seen time travel puzzle games before, but never one where one character moves backward through time. Very clever. 🙂
Haven’t even seen 10 seconds and I already like it. I really like time travel 😊
16:51 WHY DID THIS MAKE ME CRY LMAOOO
Ok so the sun reverses it's path while the moon repeats it's path. Neat.

I believe he tried it in a variety shitshow a while back, forget his feelings on it, but he def has given it a go.
Has Tyler given Into the Breach a go? Same developer as FTL, but more puzzle and less RPG.
@@TlalocTemporal Sure has, gave it a try in a shitshow.

9:00 the map is a tortoise!

Tyler's face at 13:58 is my expression during the entire video lol

damn i didnt know that dayquil and nyquil were a videogame, damn that's crazy
the charachters in the game looks like the charachters in the game called Journey
its a pretty cool game i reccomend it lol
I had no idea what you were doing at any point but I still liked watching 😅
Cool puzzle game. Definitely nice styling and concept
this game is so cute please do more!
Am i the only one who saw the first few levels and started thinking how painful levels with multiple day/moon cycles would be?
This really reminds me of Journey!
Exactly my first thought as well, the character definitely have great resemblance.

Omg that’s exactly what I thought yoo
“Hey guys Tyler here”
Me: I can dig
5:47 “At 7 moves apiece, I forgot how to count.”
Pretty sure 16:00 could have been solved by just waiting on the last move...
I was wondering when he was gonna realize.
I have no idea how he missed that.
Did he not see the tortoises in the tortoise level?
Tortoise was called that because the level was shaped like a tortoise.
Awesome game need more of this
Haha I got an ad for Patrick’s parabox on this video

Patrick’s Parabox ad cool
This is like that one really simple block game I forget what it was called
So close to 500k

Eei Variety wek, would love to see some new games

the hooded characters remind me of the player character from a game i think it was called journey
Yo I wanna see more of this game

You should check out Library of Ruina, it's a hard turn based card strategy

Is a more in depth Patrick’s Paradox video soon to come? I’ve noticed their full version is published now
he already did a patrick's parabox series
Hey can you do part 2
See I feel with the roguelikes you've been playing you'd like pixelverse.
Problem is as far as I know pixelverse is mobile and ridiculously hard. I've had my runs where I dominate, and runs where I can't catch any, any breaks.
At first all I saw was noon
