Great to hear you are enjoying living in the UK. I was born in Scotland but live close to the south cost of England. One of my favourite places in Scotland are the Isle of Mull and a short boat trip away the Isle of Iona. We have such an amazing history with castles, stately homes, great gardens and beautiful friendly pubs. I don’t understand why we have this reputation of bad food. As our nation and especially the big cities have amazing multicultural restaurants and eating places offering food from around the globe. We have high standards of farming and food production and reduced amounts of sugar preservatives and salt. Having been a primary school teacher all my life and ultimately a Head Teacher of a small rural Primary School I would be interested to hear your views on child care and education for your young family. Thank for your videos.

@@joanburnett7824 We love that Scotland has access to funded nursery, and we have only wonderful experiences to share regarding the kids' primary schooling so far. It's quite similar to the philosophy shared in the California public schools we were a part of previously. We do notice that there seems to be less homework here, which we appreciate. There is also a greater amount of independence afforded to children here at a younger age - more "stations" and independent transitions. Love that our area has free school dinners as well. The curriculum seems similar as of now, but we'll see as the children get older. We'll keep you updated and will likely do a compare/contrast on school systems as we learn more. Northumberland is the forgotten and underrated gem of England. People drive through on their way up to Scotland and on their way back down again. Great video of your trip to the Highlands. If you ever find yourself at the House of Bruar again then I'd highly recommend walking up to see the waterfalls behind it, stunning little walk 🙂

Wow, that’s some high praise! Thank you for tuning in to our channel today and for taking the time to comment. It was such an incredible get away, and we can’t wait to head back north soon.
I think we would all enjoy seeing parts 2, 3, 4, etc. of your Highlands road trip, the scenery is absolutely spectacular. I have been lucky to visit Scotland twice, but sadly doubt I will manage to do so again. So I love seeing your various videos. Funny too that Annie is now a Marmite convert 🙂.
So beautiful! I am living thru you guys and your travels in Scotland. I’m from Minnesota and someday hope to travel there. Thank you for sharing this beautiful country!
Thank you just as much for watching! Were so glad you’re enjoying and hopefully this can help make the planning of your trip over here just a tad bit easier ❤️
Absolutely loved this trip, I get so emotional when I see the beautiful scenery our wee country has to offer. You need to be there in person to fully understand how majestic it is. Finnegan loved the beach and so cute 😍 House of Bruer is a must visit. Thank you for taking us with you 😊
So it's not just me that get emotional at some of the scenery! I fully agree, no photo or video I have seen truly captures the scale and beauty of the landscape. Thank you for joining us on our adventure :-)
The most important of this excursion is that you two found time to be with each other in another time and place, meaningful solely for the both of you. But, yeah, thanks for thinking of us in the filming (and editing!). Robert, uk.
Couldn't agree more! As well as a move for the kids, Annie and I being able to spend time together was a huge factor in our decision to move! It helps a lot when the grandparents are only 20 minutes away! 😊
Thank you both for sharing this trip with us, I am from Bonnie Scotland but had never ventured so far North. Congratulations on your brilliant photography 👍🇦🇺
My ears perked up when I heard the mention of “Unst” I’m from Glasgow, when my grandparents retired they moved to the Shetland Islands, and live in Lerwick. Used to go up in the summer as kids and no joke would be playing in literal Picts castles, thousands of years old, just slap bang in the middle of normal, 21st century society. Not to mention the absolutely insane Viking heritage. I implore you to look up the annual Shetland festival of “Up Helly Aa” which celebrates this heritage. Which falls on the last Tuesday of every January, if you thought Halloween guising was a thing, Up Helly Aa is a different beast! Shetland was actually a gift from Norway to Mary Queen of Scots. It’s quite hard getting a grip on the dialect (they probably think the same about us lol) but people are people and the Shetlanders are legends! Absolutely love it. Not a care in the world up there. Last time I was up I made the point of going around all of the sub-islands of Shetland, including Unst. Standing at the edge of Unst looking out into the sea gives a feeling of standing on the edge of the known world. Seriously, if you look on a map, there’s nowhere else directly North, till you hit the North Pole. If you go straight up there’s no other countries to bump into. Standing on the edge of Unst really gets the imagination racing, knowing not only that you are the most northern placed human being at that moment in the UK, but that you are the last human, what feels like, in the world. You can just picture going back all those years ago and thinking that was what the Vikings would have first set eyes on. Truly amazing and highly recommend the experience. Great video guys, cheers! Ps, if you ask me, they have the best chippies in the UK HANDS DOWN!
This was by far the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen and i have many of Scotland while visiting. We did not get a chance to the the 500 but its on our list. BTW, the music you chose was absolutely fitting and beautiful (sorry I keep saying beautiful). I’m so glad you had a wonderful time. And Fennigan just keeps getting cuter. Thank you so much for sharing this. YES, I would love to see more footage. Annie, I, too, have skin problems and am careful about what I use.
We’re so happy you enjoyed the video/music pairing, and we can’t wait to show you more of Scotland! Beautiful is the perfect word for this area. Thank you for tuning in! ❤️
Oh my days, what a beautiful video, the quality of the footage is sublime, well done, you should be so proud of yourselves 🎉🌟🎉🌟🎉, love your commentary- pies looked fab too, and little finnegan, what a blessing he is - glad you had a lovely time, keep ‘em coming 🎉🎉🌟🌟
It’s stunning! We know we can’t do it justice on film, but it was worth a try. Cant wait to explore more of the north and all the isles as well. There’s so much to do/see!
We were blown away and only wish everyone could have the opportunity to take in these sights in person as we know the camera can only catch so much. Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
WOW! The most gorgeous scenery ever! Thank you soooo much for this video! I also must say I’m so extremely jealous of the beautiful food there. I’m so done with the food here in America. You are very blessed to live there. I will try the soap as I also have skin issues, so thank you for that tidbit as well! Just love your videos!
For Armchair Travellers such as myself, these videos are worth more than words can describe. I had travelling dreams back then but nowadays, these videos are great to view. Zach and Annie are lucky that they've got what's needed to enjoy these wee trips! Thanks, much appreciated!
So glad to hear you enjoyed! This was a fun one to put together, and it’s hard to believe we actually live here now. Trying to take it all in and not for granted. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the glimpse of what to expect on the NC500! A small contribution towards drone batteries, your next meat pie & chips, or Finn's nibbles 😆 luv u guys!
Thank you! 🙏😊❤️ Truly appreciate the support and for taking the time to watch. So pleased to hear you enjoyed this labor or love. Finnegan will be delighted with his new treats courtesy of you!
Thank you for sharing your amazing footage, it looks so beautiful. What a great friend you have to have been so kind. Finn is growing fast!! See you next week! 😊
We had the best time up there and can’t wait to return! There’s so much that we just didn’t get to see and explore, so we look forward to our next trip north. Thanks for watching! 🏴❤️
What a gift to be able to learn about Scotland through the eyes and experience of such a lovely couple (and family ... including FInnegan!!). Thank you, Zach and Annie! Exceptional job on the gorgeous drone footage and video editing and accompanying animations of your journey.
Scotland is truly quite something. Great cities, wonderful people, dog friendly everything, intriguing history... but it's the rural areas, west coast, highlands and islands where everything gets all that much better! It's like going back in time to a better place and the landscapes and scenery are incredible. ENVIOUS from Canada! CHEERS and treats for wee Finnigan!
Wonderful video, thank you, I am a Scottish woman in Canada 🇨🇦 I love all your videos and look forward to Sunday to have a wee visit to my homeland and seeing you and your family including puppy.
Im English and i worked in bathgate, stayed at a b&b in Queensferry (maybe 20yrs ago) but regret never actually visiting other parts of the beautiful land that is Scotland 🏴
Yes, you were do close to some breathtaking scenery, just a quick drive over the bridge and you are not far from Perthshire which is one of our favourite places to visit!
As a Londoner who moved to Ayrshire 10 years ago I loved this. I have travelled the NC 500 twice and visited Loch ness three times. This place has my soul. It’s the most beautiful place in the world. Untouched scenery and wonderful people if my family didn’t live in Ayrshire I would be moving there to retire! Even the weather doesn’t detract from the peace and Beauty. Your drone shots were stunning and still didn’t do it justice 😊 I would recommend a visit to everyone. The highlands have my heart ❤️
Glad you had a good time. Although we live in a small country it is amazing how diverse it is and how much there is to explore and discover. Despite already having suggested a route, I'm tempted to suggest more, but there are so many, it would likely just be bamboozling! But if you ever venture into the hills, one thing that might be useful is a paper Ordnance Survey Landranger map of the particular area you wish to visit. It can also be downloaded but I find a paper map to have it's own merits. Happy exploring in your next adventure.
This is a great idea and not something we had considered! And feel free to keep the suggestions coming! We’ve started a spread sheet and will try to work our way through everything slowly but surely.
Thankyou so much guys the views were magnificent! When I've ever passed through the Highlands i try to imagine the clans running through the Glen's..I've been to loch ness and Urquhart Castle can you imagine all the people that climbed up and down that staircase looking for marauders !? So steeped in our History..maybe It's romanticism but i feel Scotland calls you ! You did a great job of filming ❤❤
Thank you for tuning in today! We definitely agree that Scotland calls to people. There’s so much history and natural beauty here. We can’t believe this is our life now.
What a beautiful video. Scotland truly is a wonderful place to stay and visit. Your drone shots were awesome and showed the scenery at its best. I hope you both had a great time and plan to visit again with the children. 👌👌
@@elainelindsay5296 Thank you so much, and we’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed! Yes, we are already planning our second trip back with the kids and can’t wait to do some cave exploring as well as hot chocolate tasting at a one of a kind pitstop!

Thank you for tuning in today and taking the time to leave such a kind comment! We appreciate you watching and will keep them coming :) Finn is definitely the star of these videos!
HUGE, HUGE congratulations on this video! Totally enjoyable, I'm awestruck! Amazing choice of music too! This has to be your ultimate upload (no disrespecting all others haha). NC500 here I come (next year) in my hot hatch! 😂 😁 Stunning work guys! 🖖
I loved this video so much. I had traveled from the States to Milton Keynes, UK in August. I had planned to travel by train from Milton Keynes to Edinburgh where I had a B&B in a small town near there, then on to Northern Ireland. I ended up getting sick...so that part of the trip was cancelled. All good because I was comfy at my cousin's house in England. All this to say...thank you for taking me on this beautiful journey. The narrating and videography is perfection! And...Inverness was also a goal...the area where my ancestors were from. So thank you! And YES...I'd love to see the drone footage.
Great trip footage, and some lovely chat between you both. HUGELY recommend taking a trip along the opposite east shore of Loch Ness at some point. It's a small road that you can access from Fort Augustus but with hardly any traffic at all...and it's stunning. Bit of a hidden gem. Urquhart castle aside, it's so much nicer than the busy west shore.
What a treat! I come from Inverness and my Son and family live in Bettyhill up near where you were staying and it was so nice to see the area from the air! ❤
I absolutely loved this! Thank you for taking us along with you to view the beautiful Scottish Highlands. My MacDonald ancestors hail from the western Highlands and the beautiful islands. On my wish list is a trip to Scotland, the Highlands and Isle of Skye to view with my own eyes some of the stunning and harsh landscape.
It will be worth it if you’re ever able to make the journey! Nothing can capture what you see with your own eyes and take in with your senses. It was beyond stunning. We’d also love to make it to Skye! One day!
Fantastic video, well done, North of Scotland is the best for clean fresh air and unpolluted water. Wester Ross is awesome too, perhaps another journey worth planning. Summer time months are particularly breath taking without the chill factor. Sunsets are rich and glorious in colour. So pleased you appreciate Scotland's beautiful landscape and waters. xx 😁😘😘🐕❤
Thanks for the tips! Yes, we still have so much of this tiny island to explore, which is wonderful! We were lucky with the weather, and although not good for flying a drone, I find that the clouds and rain often add to the majesty of the scenery, especially in Scotland!
Thank you so much for the tour and the amazing photography! Some of your shots around Loch Ness reminded me of the beautifully shot sights used in the Series, Outlander. I’ve been to Scotland twice, once to tour our ancestral areas in the Borders and a second to tour a bit of the Highlands. Two trips aren’t enough! Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventure. A Gram from MO.🏴
Beautifully shot and put together. great to be there with you. Was there many years ago. We took similar route over a week in a very hot august and it was still almost empty. Would watch more if you fancy any time :). Thanks😊.
Idaho does have some stunning locations! We actually almost moved to Boise before we settled on CA. Annie had a placement in Twin Falls at the hospital one summer, so we had a great time exploring Idaho. Thanks so much for tuning in ❤️
Thanks for the video. My daughter goes to uni in Dundee and we’ve been over to visit a few times now but haven’t been outside of Edinburgh and Dundee. We’re finally going to rent a car and drive to Inverness, Isle of Skye, and back around to Dundee. We’ll be taking our oldest, her Scottish boyfriend, and our youngest with us. Our youngest has seen where her big sister lives yet. My husband HAS to see LochNess. Being from NY and having dealt with tourists most of life, I usually shy away from touristy areas but it’s fun for him.
I emigrated to Canada in 1970 and met a girl with the last name MacPherson, so while not born in Scotland but whose family were in Nova Scotia. She was also a medal winning virtuoso on the bag pipes having travelled even to Hawaii with her fellow players. She was very interested in her ancestry so we decided to go to tour Scotland and certainly to visit the Clan MacPherson museum In Newtonmore which she had thought would never be possible. So we started off in the west and meandered up the coast through Skye, Fort William, past Ben Nevis and Oban and then tackled those single lane roads, with the passing places every few miles and headed east along the coast as far as was possible, though the scenery in your video but going in the opposite direction. The weather was a bit unpredictable as really was to be expected but we came across a little restaurant that had a view of Cape Wrath. We sat by a window looking out through the rain and wind, and realised that we probably knew the origin of the name of that point. This was indeed Scotland in the Highlands. After sitting and just looking at the views for over an hour, we continued eastwards ending up in Thurso before continuing further south over the next few days not missing out on tours of the distilleries along the Spey! What has surprised me though watching your video is just how many of the sites are so much more touristy than when we came across them. My memory of Urquhart castle was of the castle but little else - no nice signs or even many people on site. Just a cool wind and the chance of seeing Nessie in the Loch. No modern restaurants in Nessie country. But this was over 50 years ago now but still lives in my memories.
My wife was a MacPherson. We did try to visit the museum once, on a trip up from Kent (lived there while I was on a Fulbright exchange from the US), but it was closed. When she passed due to cancer, I made a promise to go back and visit again on my next trip to Scotland. Lovely place! Very interesting and the staff was so friendly and informative. Already planning to return next spring! So much more to see.
Wow, your journey sounds absolutely stunning and no wonder you remember it so vividly after all this time. Having fewer people would be the only thing to make it even more magical, so I have to say, I’m a bit envious of your journey! Thank you so much for sharing and for watching! ❤️
Just found you guys. I'm an Englishman living in deepest Dorset. I've been to Scotland a few times and weirdly feel at home every time I go. It's such a beautiful country. Thanks for the tour 😊
Glad you enjoyed it Yes, it's incredible how far the technology has come, I'd love to take more credit for the drone, but it does so much of the flying itself!
Thoroughly enjoyed viewing your trip of the Highlands. My Ancestors are from Strath Halladale and it so happens when we went to visit them from Canada in the spring of 2023 we stayed with Julian. He is definitely the Host with the Most! I really enjoyed the drone footage, amazing scenery! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed, and we’re so happy you’re along for the journey and can help you explore this beautiful country with us! Thanks for watching!
We're happy to share it with you. Scotland really is a special place and like you I had never been that for north until this trip!
My ears perked up when I heard the mention of “Unst”
I’m from Glasgow, when my grandparents retired they moved to the Shetland Islands, and live in Lerwick.
When we did our trip to castle. We did the video. Then they pull the curtains back and the view of the castle is awesome.
I love watching your videos I loved seeing finnigan dancing with the tide bless him ❤
So much fun watching this video. It is so beautiful there.
It truly is! Thank you for watching ❤️
What a great trip you had, Scotland has so much to offer, I cant wait to explore now I live here x
It was wonderful! You should definitely take advantage.
Thanks so much! 😊
Am Scottish myself and have seen much of the country. Will never take this kind of scenery for granted!
It’s stunning! We know we can’t do it justice on film, but it was worth a try. Cant wait to explore more of the north and all the isles as well. There’s so much to do/see!
Beautiful video. The landscapes of Scotland are beyond compare!
We agree! Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed ❤️
Thank you for sharing this amazing trip with us. Absolutely the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. ❤
So happy you enjoyed and also that you’ll give the soap a try. My skin hates most things, so I love to share when I find something I truly enjoy ❤️
It was such a wonderful trip, and we can’t wait to visit again. There’s still so much more to explore. Thank you for watching! ❤️
Thanks for visiting near us. We live in Thurso and my Dad was born at In the cottage at Inshore on the way to Cape Wrath lighthouse.🏴🦄🏴🦄
We’re so glad you enjoyed it! We had so much fun creating this one and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for watching! ❤️
Spectacular scenery. Thank you for taking us along.
Thank you for watching! This was by far our favourite trip yet, and we can’t wait to go back.
We totally agree, the Highlands are truly magical!
Excellent quality of the drone, even if your standing there freezing wantin a cup o tea. Love watching your adventures :)
Thank you so much and glad to hear you enjoyed it! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Thanks!
We're so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your generous donation and for the watch ❤️ Happy Sunday!
Spectacular!!! Scotland is so generous with its amazing views! Thanks for sharing 👍
It is! We are so lucky to be here and so glad we can share it with all our digital friends!
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
We appreciate you watching! It was gorgeous!
Wonderful video, thank you, I am a Scottish woman in Canada 🇨🇦 I love all your videos and look forward to Sunday to have a wee visit to my homeland and seeing you and your family including puppy.
It’s wonderful to be able to give you a virtual visit home! We’re glad you’re enjoying our adventures and thank you for watching!
What a relaxing lovely video. Thank you for sharing that stunning journey across the Highlands🙏
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a favourite, and we can’t wait to go back.
The scenery was beautiful but what makes your channel so enjoyable is the music accompanying the pictures. Great job directing the drone too
Thank you so much! It took quite some time piecing this together, so we are thankful it was noticed.
We full heartedly agree! A camera can never give that true experience of taking it in with all the senses. We can’t wait to get back!
Beautiful scenery! Love watching the videos ya'll share .
We’re having so much fun getting out there and seeing all of this for the first time. So happy you enjoyed it as well!
Lovely video with lots of great dronage ! And what a special little pup Finn is ! He’s such a well behaved for a toddler. Keep ‘em coming .
Thank you so much! Yes, he’s doing surprisingly well. We adore him ❤️
Loved this. Last toured the Highlands in 2017. Caledonia you’re calling me……..♥️
Hahahaha we know the feeling, so much so we moved across the world for it! 😍
Incredible video! So glad you had a wonderful time and thank you so much for the time and effort you put into making this video for us all to share. Also Finn is adorable. 🥰
Thank you for tuning in today and taking the time to leave such a kind comment! We appreciate you watching and will keep them coming :) Finn is definitely the star of these videos!
Thanks again for all your hard work
Take good care and best wishes Andrew McDonald
Thank you Andrew, Annie is the editing master, I just get to play around with a fun flying toy that happens to take cool videos hahaha!
HUGE, HUGE congratulations on this video! Totally enjoyable, I'm awestruck! Amazing choice of music too! This has to be your ultimate upload (no disrespecting all others haha). NC500 here I come (next year) in my hot hatch! 😂 😁
Stunning work guys! 🖖
Thank you so much! Yes, Annie worked really hard on the edit for this one to do it justice! Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm a Scotsman born and bread I've travelled every one of those roads but your footage brings in more to life , thank you
Our pleasure! Thank you!
Loved this film....and the music you used. The pie shop menu had me almost crying....and I live in Italy ( not too shabby food wise!!!!)
Not too shabby at all! 🤣 Thank you so much for watching!
So sorry you missed the rest of your trip! Hope you can come again.
That’s so rough! Hopefully you’ll get to see Scotland soon. Thank you for your kind words ❤️
@@SimpleScottishLivingI'm just so grateful I got to be in England and lived a dream of venturing to Scotland and Northern Ireland 💞
@@vivellasmumthank you 🤗
Great trip footage, and some lovely chat between you both.
Thank you for the tip, we will certainly add it to the list. We get so many good ideas from the comments!
Beautiful scenery!
It was a trip we will never forget! ❤️ Can’t wait to get back. Thank you for watching!
A brilliant video, well done - that was a really big trip. Well done, and really pleased you had a great time with great hosts.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was such an incredible trip, and we can’t wait to go back.
What a treat! I come from Inverness and my Son and family live in Bettyhill up near where you were staying and it was so nice to see the area from the air! ❤
So cool! Yes, we passed through Bettyhill! It still amazes me that it's taken me this long to see this part of my own country!
That one line you said made it perfect.
Thank you for watching and commenting, we really hope we did it justice, the scale of the beauty was certainly beyond our skill level 🤣
What a superb video with gorgeous scenery, I would love to see more of your footage, is there any chance of a part 2
Thank you for the kind words. We truly enjoyed this and can’t wait for our next trip north! We would love to do a part 2!
Thanks for sharing and for the kind words! Yes, I think you need to add a third trip ;)
Loved it. Stunning scenery.
Glad you enjoyed it! We can’t wait to visit again and explore all the areas we didn’t have time for.
@@SimpleScottishLiving Love the Highlands, spent many a happy hour hiking and camping there when I was a younger man and, yes, I'm a Sassenach.
Beautifully shot and put together. great to be there with you. Was there many years ago. We took similar route over a week in a very hot august and it was still almost empty. Would watch more if you fancy any time :). Thanks😊.
Thank you for taking the time to comment! Those views in the summer would be even more spectacular ❤️
I’m partial to my Idaho mountains and lakes but oh my! Absolutely beautiful ! The scenery is gorgeous, Thank you!
Idaho does have some stunning locations! We actually almost moved to Boise before we settled on CA. Annie had a placement in Twin Falls at the hospital one summer, so we had a great time exploring Idaho. Thanks so much for tuning in ❤️
Your photography and footage is amazing, what a wonderful trip.
Thanks so much! So glad to hear you enjoyed it. We can’t wait to go back and see more of the Isles as well!
Your photography is not from amateurs. They are of professional quality. Your trip looked amazing and you have made a lot of memories together.
Thank you so much! We appreciate you saying that and also watching. Wishing you well!
@@SimpleScottishLiving As a bonus, I have just ordered 3 types of soap as an extra for the wife at Christmas.
What parts will you be heading to this time around? Love hearing where people go and what’s recommended ❤️ thank you for watching!
Loved your trip,I've been to some of the places, not all! Saw alot of white stunning beaches, nobody on!
@@gillianlaing1073 It’s quite surreal being the only people in a certain location. I’m not used to that!
glad you loved your foray north, for a small country scotland hits above it weight with history & landscapes,
Yes, it was amazing! I couldn't agree more and there is still so much more to explore!
So beautiful !! Thank you for all your hard work . I loved seeing the views .
Thank you! I was a labour of love editing this one, the footage was so beautiful but so hard to choose the best bits...it all looked amazing 😁
What a fantastic video! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching! This was a fun one to make!
Just found you guys. I'm an Englishman living in deepest Dorset. I've been to Scotland a few times and weirdly feel at home every time I go. It's such a beautiful country. Thanks for the tour 😊
Our pleasure! I actually have family connections to the Dorset area and spent a number of summers there!
That was a really good video, glad you enjoyed travelling a bit further north. The drone footage makes all the difference, the edit went well Annie!
What a small world! Truly is the most generous person with fantastic stories. We had such a great time and can’t wait to go back.
Lovely video thanks for taking us . The pie did look so good . Yum
Thanks so much for watching! I want one today 😅 It’s cold out, and I just want to sit by the fire and eat pies ha.
Beautiful! Please post ALL the drone footage. I could sit and watch views of Scotland for hours and hours!!
I agree!
Thank you!! We will do our best. It just comes down to having to sort through it all 😅
I giggled in the beginning cause I’m a school bus driver! Lol 😂 the footage was spectacular I would watch for hours if u post! I keep my living room tv on TH-cam listening and watching exactly things like that i.e. Yosemite Valley for example. You both do such great videos and I’m blessed to see it through your eyes. I love the place you stayed at so adorable! Ty 🤩👍🏼
The POD was perfect! I loved hearing the rain come down at night while feeling like we were tucked away in a hobbit hole. Thanks for joining us again this week ❤️
Hopefully you have so much more from that holiday you can share later.
Glad you got away.
We do! It’s sorting through all of it that takes the time. It was such a good quick trip, but we look forward to heading back that way soon with the whole family in tow.
Beautiful solitude! You took the roads less traveled, and it was delightful.
Yes, it was wonderful and we already can't wait to go back!
Julian is a top guy 👌🏻
You guys melt my heart, so much love and fun emanating from you both🥰 keep up the good work. Many blessings to you and yours 🙏🏼✨
Awe, thank you! We 100% agree. You can’t meet a more genuine and lovely person. Wishing you well ❤️
Loved your music throughout and Finnegan is adorable. The Highlands is more than rock and scrub…amazing!😊
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed! 🏴❤️ Yes, Finnegan has quickly become the star of this show 😊
What a fabulous trip.
It truly was! ❤️ Thank you for watching!
Thank you!! This was amazing! ❤
You're so welcome! It was so hard trying to pick and chose only the best bits to fit into 25 minutes!
Wow!! Amazingly beautiful 💜💜 Scott, I would love to see the 7 hours also. Thanks for another amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, if I can find a few extra minutes I will try and add some of my favourite extra drone footage, we will keep you posted!
Definitely worth the wait for the edit on this one- you created a beautiful travelog! Your accommodation was superb!
I had a week's holiday once at Cromarty (driving up from London- we must have been MAD!!!), and the scenery in the region is completely beautiful!
So happy to hear you enjoyed it as this was a labor of love! The POD was incredibly unique and inviting. I’d recommend staying there anytime!
Lovely 💚🏴
Thank you, we really wanted to do the beauty of the highlands justice!
Absolutely loved this video! Being part Scottish, I would love to move there. Just beautiful. Please share more footage!
We’ll definitely be making more videos about Scotland! It’s such a magical place. Thanks for tuning in today ❤️
Proper north highlands. One of best friends at school lived in Portskerra spent lots of time on Melvich and Strathy beaches some of the best beaches in the world.
100% agreed! So breathtaking up there and can’t wait to get back.
Wow, thanks for sharing. I definitely have to do a road trip to Scotland next year when I retire. Absolutely breathtaking scenery ❤
It will be worth it! Such a gorgeous area that can’t truly be captured on camera. I hope you’re able to see it in person one day. Thanks for watching ❤️
Loved this, thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this vlog. We have been to Scotland twice this year now. We flew back to Kent last sunday after visiting Dunkeld on your recommendation and loved it. Whilst we were up here my husband got to play golf at the Old Course at St Andrews which was a lifelong dream of his. He only entered his name into the draw last thing on the Friday and got to play on the Saturday. Really enjoying your vlogs, thank you both. Best wishes Christine x
Love hearing this and so happy we could be of some help! Thank you for sharing! We appreciate the support and will keep the suggestions coming ❤️
