    excellent comparison, you made some configuration with the 25k motors because I modified my 25k mobula and now the 300mha lipo does not last, the voltage drops super fast, greetings

    Thanks for the video. It is good to know that you can use the 25K M6 model. Nick Burns and Nate (shuttlebug) said it would be best to use the 19K version to get more throttle resolution so I used the 19K version. I had lots of jello with my 75mm conversion I will try adding the extra foam.

      Hi John, Thanks for watching! I'm glad it worked out as well because I don't have the 19K version to test. It seems just fine though considering I normally fly 5" 6s builds. I feel plenty of resolution and control. Definitely good to know that both can be converted so others can feel confident doing the conversion without having to buy both. The performance is very impressive :)

    Since u were experiencing jello, the cheapest solution that would not take much effort would be getting a new canopy, the eachine uz65 canopy does a pretty good job of keeping out jello in this camera.

      Sweet! My original canopy is getting pretty chewed up lol I might have to try one of those out! Thanks for watching :)

    I would go with 1102's. They're more efficient on those Props.
    Very nice build. Kinda want to build my own 75mm

    One major reason, though, that the 6 wasn't gripping the corners as good, might have been your 3-bladed props.
    4-blades and keep that yaw expo at 0 and you'll be cornering like a razor.

      Ah, makes sense :) Then again, that's the most flying I've done with gates in over a year lol! I think I have some 4 blade gemfan 31mm. Might have to try those on the 6 😉. Thanks for watching!

    Great job mate, the conversion looks really stable. One question thou are you using the RapidFire Legacy while flying your mob6 as I have some issues with overexposure with my mob6 when using RF1 or RF2 although it got much better after I did the FW update and the calibration. Any suggestions what's the best setup of RapidFire with the mob6 based on your experience would be really appreciated. Keep it up and happy flying !

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Stefan! I just checked and I'm running RF Mode 1 (always have). I've never updated the fw in my rapidfire and I got it back when it launched. I never had any issues so I left it alone and I've flown quite a bit since then. I plan to upload another video or two with the conversion Mob6. Just waiting for the wind to calm down :) Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!

    Thanks for the video! I did what you showed,. And while I was able to take off - I can't really fly. Vibrations make it super uncomfortable to fly. I haven't found that anyone from videos above had mentioned that effect, so I assume it's problem with mine only. Does anyone know how to fix that? I install back 31mm props and it flies on 75mm just fine. Slightly more bulky than on native 65mm frame, but no vibration. Juggling comes when I install 40mm 4 blade props. The props are new. If you have flying version of 75mm mobula 6 - could you please share betaflight dump if that's not much on inconvenience for you? many thanks.

    Hey, can I use 1s 550 mAh batteries for that or is that going to burn the motors or something like that?

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure you can. It's just a bit of extra weight but it will still fly very well. It won't be as nimble as running less mAh like a 450mAh. As you go heavier/more mAh, you get 'diminishing returns' if you go too heavy.

  • @RCinginSC
    @RCinginSC 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    That appeared to be on a standard 4.2v charge . Is that right ? If so, it def increased flight time for sure and still looks very stable. Jello is next to nill. Well worth the upgrade.
    I still haven't flown extensively with the Jesc firmware install. I've heard also that performance is altered . Only because the 48khz makes more floaty due to twice the motor pwm update . Under acceleration , I believe it will handle the same. Thanks for sharing your experience.
    Appreciate the plug !

      Awesome bro, thanks again for the tips :) Actually the 1s Tattu I used in the 75mm was charged to 4.35V as well as the stock Happy Model 300mAh I used in the stock Mobula. You'll see at least 4.30V on both when I first plugged them in lol but only for a second or two.

      @@in4bliss gotcha. I have never gotten in to the habit of charging to HV until I made that vid the other night and was shocked on the extra run time just by charging to HV. Nevermind the JESC flash. That was icing on the cake .

    i think i broke my mobula 6😭
    after a hard clash and clean up
    i plug in new battery,and heard small spark sound
    but everything looks fine
    voltage is ok
    video signal good
    osd display normally
    radio signal also great 8x signal
    but once i fly over a wall it just fail safe and say rxloss
    it just drop from sky with 4x signal of radio signal
    usually i can safely fly over there
    its just less than 5 meter away
    and if i fly around me very near, no wall, less than 5 meter everything work fine
    Is it something related Rx threshold to failsafe
    after several time of investigation, it almost fail safe every time it reach radio signal below 60
    and just drop from sky (on the flight mode there it show 100 f5 101) not sure what it means
    have no idea what to do 🙏

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, that's bad news for sure. The way I fly, mine has crashed a lot and sad to say, it's definitely not working properly anymore. Sometimes it shows incorrect voltage on a fresh pack and sometimes no osd at all. Can't fly with much confidence if you don't know what your voltage is at.
      My best guess for your issue is the receiver antenna. It might have broken either at the connection to the board or within the cable sheath. I can't think of anything else that would cause that type of fail safe. Hopefully it's just a quick antenna fix. Good luck my friend!

    I’m considering doing this to my mob6...do the motors get hot with these bigger props? And what’s the amp draw? Thanks!!

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, sorry I missed this. No, the motors don't get hot at all. I never checked the amp draw but the longer flight time with the similar flights back to back pretty much says it all. Seems to be more efficient with the bigger props and similar weight.

  • @GeezerGramps
    @GeezerGramps 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    How do you explain the added flight time with the conversion being heavier & using larger props?

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The weight difference isn't huge so I think it's negligible. My best explanation is the motors are actually less efficient with the 31mm props and actually run more efficiently with the 40mm props. The motor size and kv is actually not being used to its full potential with the 31mm prop. The only way I can give an example is - if you put tires/wheels on a car that are way too small, it makes the engine work harder and rev higher to go the same speed/distance. If you put a normal size/larger tire or the proper size tires that the car was designed for, then the engine works less and doesn't have to rev as high. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    • @GeezerGramps
      @GeezerGramps 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@in4bliss your explanation does make sense. Your example of the car tire size was a great comparison. I’ve got a Mobula7 I’ve never been thrilled with, right out of the box it had a bad wobble. Got that worked out but now I think the vtx is going out. Might need to get another Mobula6 & put it in the 7 frame which is v2

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GeezerGramps Well, the new Moblite7 is probably the best choice at the moment. Right out of the box you get a lot of flight time and an updated board without having to do any conversions. Looks like they made the Mobula 6 board even smaller. There's also a Moblite6 out or coming soon but again, it has less flight time from the reviews I've seen. I see pyrodrone has the Moblite7 in stock. I might have to get one and review it.

  • @Crftbt
    @Crftbt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why not go with Mobula7?

    • @in4bliss
      @in4bliss  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the Mobula 7 V2 is still a good choice but the Mobula 6 converted is a few grams lighter, a few dollars cheaper and you get a true all in one single board in the Crazybee F4 Lite. You also get the same size SE0802 motors but in higher KV options that make more power. The flight time is at 4 minutes or more on the 19K-KV version and I consistently get 3 and a half minutes on my 25K-KV version (with an HV 1s 450mah battery). And all around just newer components included with the Mobula 6 - simply adding a $5 Mobula7 V2 frame and 40mm props seems to work very well vs the year or more old Mobula 7.
