- We try the EspetoSul rotisserie out for the first time with a tasty leg of lamb which was marinated overnight. Cooked over lump charcoal for 1.5 hrs on the Weber and the meat came out so succulent tender and moist with some smokey flavours from the juice dropping on the charcoals.

We still have ours my grandad and I made from a 44gallon drum cut in half and driven by an old Ringer washing machine motor. Classed as a spit in our days and now called Rotis're.
Holds up to 200Ib of meat from, whole venison, Pigs and Sheep. The rods my brother made from Stainless steel. Spits a awesome if catering for big whanau celebrations.
Omgosh.... that rotisserie lamb looked amazing 😋🤗 chicken was too! Shame bout my kamokamo yours looked very delicious..! Cheers too your whanau Mike hugs for Rubba💞❤️
Kia ora Lisa, that lamb was so tasty alright, you would have enjoyed it. See how tender it looked when Rubba had her taste test? It just fell apart between her canines 😃🤷🏽♂️

Oh my, that looks superb we must try with that rub.
Might be better to make your own rub, I'll do that on another video. There are a few different combos on google and adjust to how hungry you are.😀
I got one of these and it’s amazing!!
It is a great rotisserie system and quiet, great for stealth camping
Happy New Year Mike Rubba and whanau. Love your vids ❤

You just leveled up bro! Mauri Ora
I have the next meat to try out on the rotisserie 😬
I traveled to the Middle East and Azerbaijan… The lamb, goat or chicken cooked on a vertical broiler over a flame or coals.. Very much the same as the rotisserie but the flavours are off the cuff… I learned how to cook their breads too.. I love travel abroad..
This Maori is going to be lost in North Africa in May 2024 is my next desty😂 The Sahara.. Can’t wait to show them your content, and other Maori kai gatherers I follow..
I look forward to trying their lalebi, brik, chakchouka, and fire smoked fish, seafood…Mediterranean… Tunisia 🇹🇳
Even my Pakistani mates and Iraqi friends spoil me with their kai… So lucky to have a diverse of buddies and learn their cultures and food…
Wait until I put sausages on this gadget, you will be amazed 🧙🏽♂️😀
Hey Mike, You should go to Papamoa beach to get some Tua Tua...there are plenty and they are fat as now...take a bottle for sea water to soak them and let them spit their sand. Love ya vidz and Rubba... keep it up man🙏
Hey bro do you know if the tua tua round the mount are algood to eat? Seen a few people grabbing them but I thought I remembered a warning on them
@@emmahuch7466 Have not heard sorry...we got ours from Omanu Beach...did not get crook
@@KenneyRawstron bugga might have to just make a trip out to pap, thanks mate
I don't eat those but if you gave me the coordinates to some fat kina then I'm keen😟😀
Hunger is the best sauce...makes anything taste good...even Tua Tua...lol...My wife cooks them Indonesian style with lemon grass, kafir lime leaf ,shallots tomatoes and garlic...and the juice is to die for...we get our Kina over Motiti Island....mmmm😋@@WekaDigitalMediaNZ
Mean as always mike . Glad im having my tea why watching this
Me too, bbq sausages onions bacon and eggs ... with salad 😬
Chuck a metal binder clip on the rim of your weber and it holds the rotisserie centre skewer perfect
Good idea 👍
Awesome! Man I was bloody hungry wstching you eat that lamb it looked so good.......whens the next camping video with Adrian? Been watching the older ones and theyre bloody good.
Thank you John, Adrian is camping in his caravan a bit. I don't go camping till it cools down a lot 😟
@WekaDigitalMediaNZ Definately been too hot to hump a pack round the bush. Fishing over the Manukau Bar is the ticket at the moment, the Snapper are in good nick. 👍
Where you been aye 😂, was wondering when we would get a new year's taste test, love my Weber 💪
Working in the outdoors for a few weeks, Weber's are great and this rotisserie is another great way to cook on it.
That kai looking good bro 👌🏾. That rotisserie runs pretty well ae might need 1 for my webber
Definitely ups the taste of your meat and another cooking flavour for the weber.
Nice bro cant wait for the next toroi videos, you should do some pickle vids bro. UPPP THE WEKA MAN
Was talking about making some kamokamo pickles the other day 🤔
I’m an old international chef following you guys long time I changed my front name fyi..you have an awesome garden think on drying blending own organic powder
Sorry, I know who you are now and got your email just been so busy to reply back, I shall reply soon 🙂
I’m drying gringo killer chilli for you and have native oyster mushroom powder in collection…lavender hint also for lamb rub👍
Need to try some of stef the maoris rub
I'll make my own up, I got an idea😬
Thanks mike, do you leave the weber open or closed when cooking with the espetosul?
You're welcome, you can't close the lid with this on. Weber has a contraption where you can with their rottesrie. 🙂
I can give you some recipes for rubs save some coin really easy and cheap I worked with some pro barbecue chefs at meat stock was amazing learning from the best 🤩
Kia ora Toni, I was looking at making my own rather than buying these for sure. Sounds like you got onto a good thing learning bbq stuff 👌 If you can send me some recipes would be great thank you wekadigitalmedianz@gmail.com 🙂
Get some de-boned chicken marylands and hot smoke you will not look back.I like to cook my lamb long and slow 150-160 c. If you can get a kilo plus mullet works great as well sea run the best. You will be taste tested out.All the best for you and your family and channel for 2024 .Broest Adam
HNY nice bark on the lamb
