If you really want to follow a great family I highly suggest Montana Haven Alaska Edition. Their journey has been amazing. Even with setbacks from weather, delivery , etc. their positive outlook and work ethic is something we can all learn from !
My husband and I watched almost every episode of this log home being built. The craftsmanship is awesome and those older boys did amazing work. So impressive. This house turned out so beautiful.
This video pop up in my suggestion tab and i was like "hmmm that guy look so familiar" and i read the title and saw Joas and Pricilla's name! 😂 I have no idea Meadowlark have a youtube channel... definitely subscribing!

YOU PUT SO MUCH LOVE AND CARE INTO THE 🪵 HOMES THAT YOU BUILD.THE BEST. THANK YOU AND GOD FATHER ALMIGHTY BLESS, YOU AND ALWAYS KEEP BOTH FAMILIES KEEP YOU IN HIS GRACE AND PROTECTION.
Oh gosh followed you for yonks, especially on this your new venture, this is terrific, I loved how each and every one of you put time and effort in to making your new home…,hats off to Avalon for installing the lights (prev video), she’s my kind of gal :)
Deni, you should contact the staff at Meadowlark, talk to Ben let’s get one put together for Ireland! We’d be over there in a heartbeat. We have sent Log Homes overseas to other countries and the shipping really isn’t that expensive. It cost roughly the same amount to ship from Montana to Ireland as to the East Coast of United States, because the ocean shipping is much cheaper than 3000 miles across land. We are about 450 miles from the port of Seattle.
My son Jeriah and I were in southern Ireland summer of 2022 to meet with folks interested in building a number of log homes, you could check out the videos. The stage it was at recently is they are working with the county for the building permits and planning permission, etc.
Jonas, That a nice custom log home, i see you went with the traditional Japanese burning of the outside, looks interesting. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video. How do you deal with the black flies during the summer?
It is easy to see how you reach people all over the country to sell homes to now, but how did you promote your business outside your area in the early days?
We used to have dealerships across the country but in the crash of 2008 every dealership stopped selling completely so we were forced to abandon that model and we went 100% online and direct sell everything from the Montana office. There are no Meadowlark dealerships since 2008.
I’ve been somewhat delayed in my arrival to America from the United Kingdom. Unfortunately I’ve been battling with cancer and my treatment has been a complete waste of time. I’m just putting our house ( built in 1876) on the market so we can find our farmland in New England and discuss our home with you. I love the effect of the burnt wood 🪵 and if it’s not too expensive I’d love to see the difference in person. I’m not sure how long the waiting period is currently but perhaps you can let me know. Ideally I’d like a 4 bedroom, 4 bath and basement with two further floors. A large garage and a barn to complete my dream. I’m hoping to have enough room for some cabins depending on affordability. It’s the start of the dream I have for a self sustaining village growing organic food and vegetables as well as winter sports. I’m very ambitious but I’ve only shared my idea with one person who now wants to invest in the project. I’m sure there will be more along the way 😊 It’s living a life beyond our usual way of living and embracing our planet every way possible. I will be in touch as soon as I have some dates 🤞🏼🕊️🪵🍓🍅🥔🌽🍇💫

Joas doesn’t answer comments on this channel so I will just answer for you, I expect it was pretty miserable!
@@AmishMeadowsOfficial the black flies were miserable when I was up there in the army. Thank you
