I recently purchased a gopro and did not know about this loop feature. If you catch a fish at 4:40 into a 5 min loop then stop the recording after the release, do you lose the cast and catch? Or does it basically save 5 min prior to any video at the time you end the recording? Thanks!
That’s a good question. I would test it out but I would think it saves wherever you pressed stop within the 5 min window. Meaning if you pressed stop at the 4:40 mark, it would only save the last 4:40 and not the entire previous 5 mins. I haven’t had an issue with the timing of the 5 mins but I see your point. Unfortunately 20 mins is the next tier. I’ll test it out later and get back to you on this. Thanks for commenting!
@@WannaFishAllDay Thanks, I'm gonna test it out later myself. I would hope that whenever you stop recording, it saves the previous 5 minutes so you wouldn't run into that issue. GoPro def had to take that into consideration. Thanks for the response. Gonna def use this feature next time out.
@@WannaFishAllDay Just tested it. It records the previous five minutes from wherever you stop the recording. However if you upload to the quik app on your phone, it breaks up the videos in seperate 1 min. clips. I'm awaiting a call from gopro to see why that is.
Great tips... especially the looping feature.
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the tips, i'll give them a try on my goPro.
Thanks for sharing 🍻. Until the next one ✌🏼🙂
Thanks bro 👍

Does drilling a track system into the kayak void the warranty on the haul of the kayak?
No, it does not.
Let me further clarify. Old Town will honor the warranty as long as the holes are above the water line. Not sure about the other kayak manufacturers.
@@WannaFishAllDay Awesome! Thanks for the info! Love the channel!
Thanks Vince! 🙏

Oh wow! Thanks for the info 🙏. Yeah, I don’t use the gopro app but odd about the 1 min interval.. Good looking out though. Thanks again.
