The car brand is from my home "Czech Republic", I´m happy that I saw it on your channel. I like this kind of open ,light cars, its about the raw, direct feeling from drive. With some power upgrade(Their performance version 280hp) + some decent aero it could be real killer on a track. And for 60 Grand it is propper competitor against Caterham, Ariel Atom or KTM.

@@DaEVOthefreak true.. I assume before you buy a car like this that you allready destroyed a Mitsubishi Colt and are able to keep up with way way faster cars in the corners enough for people to notice you have some serious skill.
Its probably calculated between vehicle speed and engine speed by the Dash Display. Common feature on motorsport electronics and it works like that cause it has a delay to accommodate for clutch moments.

At first you probably struggle with the position and the too small size of the throttle, but otherwise the little rocket looks like a lot of fun! Great driven, as always!
1.6 litre turbocharged engine. Seems there’s a lot of lag between shifts. From the point misha is pressing the pedal to the turbo spooling up. If u think 0.25 0.5 seconds lost each shift. They are missing a trick. Better to stick a paddle shift dual clutch gearbox on it and speed up them gear changes
You went easy M...be fun if you got to get more comfortable with the car. That car jumped up to 200 kph very quickly. $60k it's a steal. What tires were they running? That would seem like a game changer for that car.

The engine is 1.6 THP from Peugeot. This one is from Peugeot 508. It is EURO 6 with 225 hp. We also have the car with engine from Peugeot RCZ R which has 270 hp, unfortunately it is EURO 5.
Wow such a smooth lap in such a rapid car. That gear display confused me. Like what 200kmh in 6th gear but you shift into 6th gear? 😂 Yeah something is off. One car i would love to watch would be a M3 GTS with that V8... Until then everyday i am gonna watch every video ❤
As I already mentioned here. We were there with a newly built car and the display had a bad config. So the gearing was a little bit off. Now it is working properly :)

Such a brutal acceleration for around 200hp and cornering speeds faster than nearly any street legal Car, but with a diffrence that you actually feel safe with such a speed in a corner.

Passanger or not, this isnt 220 . Maybe at crank but lots lost to the wheels. This is about as fast as Golf GTI performance with 220-230bhp and that thing weighs like a tonne and a half ? Cars with 250-260bhp and 1.3 to 1.6 tonne hit these kph numbers here so something is a bit off. Nevertheless looks like super fun.
Confusing ... R6 engine as in Yamaha R6? which this one clearly doesn't have. Also a 600cc would be very difficult to operate and the longevity would be short since it has to move almost 4x it's normal load
Seems like a funny little car. However the throttle seemed a bit unresponsive? Like a lot of revving when shifting up and huge blip needed to shift down. Seems like a bit unresponsive or like too big of a flywheel which is odd for such a racing-oriented car.
No, no, no, not many people can afford a sole use track car and it's very impractical, what fun cleaning it and driving it in the rain. I thought that it was only the crazy British who made these sorts of things.
@@mgcharoudin yeah you're doing it right ... the first time i saw for example the ariel atom i was astonished of how that bunch of tubes could be driven at the street or track... you hit something and you end up without the head on your body or crushed into something hahaha

My guess is VW 1.6 inline 4, tuned, going into Škoda, they have Škoda references on their site.

Looks like fun. Slightly confused by the gears, there was one after 6? It felt like you could have done the full track in 4th and above.
Yes gearing seemed very short. The powertrain seemed capable of higher speeds but perhaps it's limited due to the safety limitations of the design
The gear ratio is just fine for a sport car like this. I have been a test driver for four years and I never hit a rpm limiter on the 6th gear.

This car has a stock dual mass flywheel which is really quite heavy. You can order the car with a lightweight flywheel.
