Is there an option to change the ambient lighting in the sport model. I bought mine 2017 yesterday and can't seem to find the setting for it.. Thank you for your help and good reviews.
There is, it might only be on the 401A package. Go to settings then display and there's like 6 color options

Yes, you can choose from different colors in the settings.
if adaptive cruise control included in 401A package or not
Adaptive cruise control is not in the 401A, but to get the adaptive cruise control you must order the 401A. So it is a stand alone option as long as you have the 401A. Not available as a stand alone option if you have a vehicle with just the 400A equipment. Thanks

@@timbartz I just bought a 2017, and only the passenger side rear has a bar in front. The driver side doesnt.
Does it have the lane keeping system?
No, it is not available on the Sport. You will find Lane Keeping as well as many other technology items available on the Limited or the Platinum which does have the 3.5L Ecoboost Engine as well as the sport tuned suspension. We have videos of those as well.
The Platinum comes with all the features of the Sport trim with 401A package (including sport tuned suspension) plus many other standard and optional equipment. I found that information on our Ford Order Guide as well as on the vehicles on our lot. The Explorer wouldn't be able to handle the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost torque without the Sport Tuned Suspension.

What is up with the gas mileage? It doesn't give you what is advertised. They've known this since the 2013 model.
The cars dont drive themselves. No car will give you anything...
My 2017 Explorer Interceptor is rated at 15/20 and in reality gets about 14/19-19.5 or so. Which is close enough. But, more to the point, that's almost the exact same mileage my 1996 Explorer Sport used to get despite having just over half the horsepower, not to mention being over 1,000lbs lighter and a good third smaller. Granted, gas was 87c/gal back then, but stll...
