You have just saved my smoker. I’m going to my hardware shop next week!💪🏾
yeeeeees. Get it done and get your smoke on!! Lemme know
That actually came out really good ! But don’t forget I have a welder and a bunch of scrap metal !
Bro, I remember you mentioning that last time, and I SO wanted to hit you up for this, but I feel like I'm a pain in the ass! I also needed this done by Thanksgiving, which, by the time I had this prepped for fixin', was like, the next day! 😂😂 However.... It's only cheap aluminum, I'm down to tear it off and weld shit, anytime you are! 🔥🔥🔥
I would be worried of the fumes coming off the tape transfer to your food. Love the aluminum pan idea and easy to mold and looks good.
My pan warped some, but is still there. Simple and works
Awesome going to try this on my smoker.
Awesome! ^^
Thank you my guy
Welcome! Used mine today
I found one in a dumpster and the exterior looks pretty decent but the bottom is rusted out and the inside has big spots of rust in it what should I do about that???
The bottom, you can do what I did here. The rest, sand away the loose rust, and spray it down with olive oil to stop further rust
Was it just me that moved the phone away when he used the blower
😂😂😂 my bad
How long will this last?
I'm about to find out!! Several 10 hour smokes so far.... looks good. Keep it dry with a grill cover
Has the aluminum tape held up? I used just the aluminum tape (no foil pan) to cover some holes in a charcoal grill and after a few uses the tape seemed to fall off (too much heat for the adhesive on the tape?)
@daviddarnell1398 So far after several 8ish hour smokes it's holding up!! I think maybe the Charcoal heat is too close and too hot....
That ain't food grade safe...ur asking for alzheimers
