The audacity to say "we were close to winning" when in fact they were one move away from losing (somehow Arjun missed it under time pressure) shows where Kramnik is mentally.
Sindarov was very close to an objectively winning position against Pragg, who also had very little time. Considering the other boards all ended in draws, they WERE close to winning (and close to losing too)
@@mrflamingo1004 A 0.8 eval advantage isn't close to winning lmao
@@mrflamingo1004 Sindarov was close to objectively winning position? A normal person would say he had some advantage till he played all the computer engine moves he came prepared with, but once Pragg took him out of his prep he clearly had no clue about the position. And if u really want to objectively compare the eval of both games then Sindarov had max +1.2 whereas Arjun had +3.9. No sane person would dare to say the Uzbeks were "close" to winning unless ofcourse u belong to same mental category as Kramnik.

@@yafi2475 It is possible to use a camera and Bluetooth to track a chessboard image. This would involve setting up a system where the camera captures images of the chessboard, and an image processing algorithm (like computer vision) analyzes the board to detect changes in piece positions. Bluetooth could be used to send this information to another device (e.g., a phone, computer, or digital chess clock) for further processing or display.
A camera, such as a phone or webcam, is positioned to capture a top-down image of the chessboard.
The camera captures real-time images or video, focusing on detecting the positions of the pieces on the board.
Image Processing (Computer Vision):
Object Detection Algorithms (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow) are used to process the camera images. These algorithms detect the grid of the chessboard and the location of the pieces.
Piece Identification: Based on color and shape, the algorithm can identify which squares are occupied by which pieces (white/black and type of piece).
Change Detection: The software compares sequential images to detect when a piece has moved and updates the board state accordingly.
Bluetooth Communication:
Once a change is detected in the board state, the system can send data via Bluetooth to a connected device.
This could be used to update the board on a companion app, provide move suggestions, track game history, or relay moves to an AI opponent or remote player.
Integration with Chess Software:
The data transmitted over Bluetooth can be fed into chess software like Stockfish or Lichess, allowing analysis, move validation, or automatic game logging.
You could also create a digital chess clock using Bluetooth communication to track the time for each player, synchronized with the physical board.
Technical Considerations:
Accuracy: The camera’s resolution and the quality of the computer vision algorithm will determine how accurately the system can detect piece movements.
Latency: Depending on how quickly the camera captures and processes images, and how fast the Bluetooth connection is, there may be a small delay in tracking moves.
Lighting: Adequate lighting is important for accurate piece detection. Shadows or reflections can interfere with image processing.
Chessboard Marking: Some systems use marked or encoded chessboards (e.g., with QR codes or specific patterns) to help the computer vision software more easily detect and identify pieces.
Tools You Can Use:
OpenCV: Popular for real-time computer vision applications, it can detect the chessboard grid, recognize chess pieces, and track their movements.
TensorFlow or PyTorch: Useful for creating neural networks that can identify chess pieces or even predict the next move based on the board state.
Arduino or Raspberry Pi: Can be used to build custom hardware that integrates the camera and Bluetooth communication, especially for chess clocks or low-cost systems.
This type of system is feasible, and with the right software and hardware, you can track and analyze a chessboard in real-time using a camera and Bluetooth connection" Please offer your counter opinion
We are living in AI script world Sir, You can not say something impossible ( i agree with Kramnik there) in technology only you can be regulatory and regulation is authorisation and jamming of data transfer. Rest argument is futile.

For those wondering about issues, the complaint was immediately addressed by the support staff which cleared the issue because those where FIDE approved phones permitted to record the games. No simcard was there ( obviously ) and further the case was cleared as nothing objectionable was found. I don't mind kramnik raising the issue but accusing the Indian team for cheating just alludes his grumpy behaviour.
I disagree with Kramnik's position here, but he's not accusing the Indian team of cheating-- he's arguing that phones should not be allowed at all because with all the advancement in technology, a team COULD find an easier loophole through which to cheat if phones were allowed. He clarified in the interview that he didn't have an issue with the Indian team. His problem is with the fact that FIDE does not seem to be sufficiently harsh on preventing cheating in advance.
@@mrflamingo1004 Yeah, but the point is Kramnik should know the rules first especially when you complain during a tournament and even more especially when you during a crucial match, which can shake Indian players' concentration. It’s so idiotic on Kramnik’s part on not knowing the rules and then complaining later. This is utter nonsense. If he has problems with everything, why not just read the damn rules and object on a rule beforehand?
So strange, Kramnik all about accusations on cheating etc but then he is working with Hans Niemann?!
I dare say I am a bit glad this happened.
India has long had a close relationship with Kramnik, from Vishy and him being good friends, to him coaching a lot of Indian youngsters in the past etc. As such, I felt like most of the country (those close to chess anyway) had been mute on Kramnik's recent delusions (at least to my knowledge). I hope this changes that. Kramnik should be treated as a social pariah in chess for what he is doing (sure someone like Hikaru wont get affected by his antics, but Jospem could easily have, and not to mention younger players). Hopefully the world moves in that direction. People like Vishy and Srinath for example should stop being courteous to him when he shows up at events.
Kramnik and any person regardless of how great they were in their professions, should be treated as pariahs if they do things like this. This is exactly I was envisioning when this happened.

Nope Srinath has been very critical of him for a while now, I think you missed that he also accused Nihal Sarin of cheating and that is where most of the Indian chess community also started to treat him as pariah although senior players like vishy, hari and even juniors who got trained by him have to maintain some level of respect for him and thats what they are doing
Kramnik waited until day 9 of the tournament to flag his issue. He had no problem in the first 8 days apparently. Even worse this guy says that the Indian team was using it, whereas it was being used by a media team. Hope he understands there is a difference there. The real serious issue here is with this fellow Kramik, who keeps throwing mud at everyone around and hopes something will stick somewhere.

The Grinch is counting the days to steal christmas
Each of the phones used for recording the games is checked and an okay sticker pasted on it. Kramnik objected during today's game and the arbiter checked again for Kramnik's peace of mind. No sim was found and the recording resumed.
As for bluetooth, all cameras sold today have bluetooth and NFC. Kramnik watched the games of Indian players on each match day. He saw the phones recording the games. If he wanted he could have raised an objection on other days too. No other coach/captain thought of this as an issue.
Rules were made by the fair play team, rules were followed. End of story.

Kramnik was just scared that India would destroy Uzbekistan like the others and they would have no chance of medal so he tried to find a loophole to save Uzbekistan.. if he actually had problems with phones only he would have pointed it out long ago..
do professional cameras don't have bluetooth I'm sure some have it
Chessbase India does not have enough money to buy cameras to cover. Welcome to the smartphones.
India is rooting for crown and chessbase india is recording🤔
The one time i 100% agree with him.
Kramnik is also a champion of complain. Ridiculous.
He is really prejudiced and biased and also ignorant of FIDE rules of Competition. As per Rules, recording devices are allowed in playing hall if approved by the organisers. The devices ( phones without SIM cards and in aeroplane mode) were approved and sealed by the Fide anti cheating committee and organisers .
Same transmissions inki team k bhi to skte hn 😂 but indian team is not blaming ..... Victim Mentality 🫠
If rule was broken then Kramnik is right.
Keep up
