There aren’t any video cameras on the market capable of recording classical chess games for 6 to 7 hours at high quality while storing such long clips. Only phones can handle that. If a camera setup were used, it would require large equipment with a power source, or something like a GoPro, which could distract the players. To promote the game and support journalism, you need content, but no one is recording videos and selling the footage like in other sports. Chess journalism is mostly driven by small content creators using their own equipment at their own expense. While Kramnik’s concerns are understandable, it’s important to note that the devices were inspected and approved by FIDE organizers.
Also the rule on FIDE’s handbook on 13.7 b states Unless authorised by arbiter, it is forbidden for anybody to use a mobile phone or any kind of communication device. And chess base India’s phone was allowed by the arbiter so they aren’t breaking any rules either.

He only cares about chess and sometimes not even think about money, other chess creator ask for money to do the streams of these events and charges a lot but this guy covers all news and events related to chess and sometimes do things for free just to see his indian side growing and find happiness in their wins... Sagar bhai, I think it's time for you to let go of these phones. I know it may be expensive, but if you can get your hands on Logitech's mevo lineup of cameras, I think you will put this controversy and similar ones that may arrive in future to rest. They are wireless cameras for live production and doesn't cost a ton (at least cheaper than a Samsung galaxy ultra). If you can test them and it integrates with your workflow, it would be great, to use a dedicated camera instead of using mobile phones.
While I'm sure there is no cheating going on, the very thought that a device can be utilized to cheat can be unsettling for players. It is important for Anti-cheating measures to also try and remove the perception that there could be cheating happening somehow because a device which can hoist a chess engine and also receive communications, is in the playing hall, very close to the players. Why not simply use recording devices that cannot hoist any chess engine or receive communications?
