Jet lagged today from taking a red-eye from Seattle to Boston. This was perfect to stretch things out and get some blood pumping. Might do it again later in the day to work things out before bedtime!
Thanks, Ash! I've had some pain on my Achilles/lower calf this week, so I'm trying to focus more on strength and cross training for the next week or two. This was a great start!
My favourite of the strenght sessions so far, thank you so much! I enjoy a lot of the short intros, but also you talking through the videos, it make me feel like Im attending a live class each time. The best parts are the "woOOOooOo", when you're looking for balance, haha. Have a good rest of the weekend! 😊
Another fantastic workout. Thank you! I’ve spent the last year driving for hours for my job everyday. This has taken a toll on my leg strength which is causing me tightness in my hips and pain in my knees. These runners workouts are just what I need to build up my leg strength again. I can’t thank you enough for these miracle exercises
Ash, it’s far too hot to run where I am now. No matter how early I wake up I can’t go out and beat the heat. This indoor strength exercise will help keep me on track. Thank you.
Thanks Ash! This is exactly what I am needing to improve my running. I actually noticed I struggled to feel my right glute activating as much as my left so that is good to know! Plus the stabilizing aspect was tough but needed. ❤
Perfect! That’s great body awareness. You can work on that to get it stronger. That will help balance out your body and help you run stronger and avoid injuries 👍🏻😊❤️
This is a great video, thank you. Just what I need. By complete coincidence, I saw a video of you and your daughter doing a dad and daughter ballet class the other day. I was at school with Fleur, the principal of the ballet school!
You're so welcome! Thank you too, glad you enjoyed this session with me 😊 my wife suffers with bad period cramps, I can only sympathise and be grateful that I don’t have to go through that regularly. Well done for still having the motivation to do this workout 🙌🏻
@@RunBetterwithAsh ugh! You go above and beyond dude 😁 Whenever it’s time to recover I skip everyone else’s and look for your vids specifically. The checking in, reflection time, walking through the stretches. It’s everything I need to hear when I’m stretching after a run or anything. THANK YOU AGAIN!
Thank you Ash. I will be incorporating your stability workouts into my workout & runner’s routine…#1 because I want a healthy well rounded body and #2 because I believe this could help me improve my 5k run time
Love these videos and your instruction techniques. You help keep us motivated and keep everything positive. Thank you! I will have to do more of your strength videos.
Hey Ash! Thanks for the video!!! Well I can surely say not both of my legs have th same balance. In the exercise 10:17 .. My left side did better then the right. I couldn't put my right foot straight and bend the knee a bit and keep balance...such a shame! I ll surely revisit the video again and work on it! 😅
Great body awareness, well done for figuring this out. This is an imbalance you can now address and prevent it leading to an injury down the road 🙌🏻 I appreciate your comments as always 😊
Great body awareness. So glad you can learn that and feel what imbalances you can work on. It will definitely help reduce your injury risk and make you stronger 👍🏻😊
Thank you Ash…. You’re doing an amazing job…. BTW your talking and explaining makes the video feel a bit more personal…. Keep it going…. More strength to you…
Hi Ash, just love your videos, every time I run, I systematically end up with one of your several stretching, so thanks a lot for what you do for us… I have 2 questions for you though 😊…1) you have included a foot stretch with a yoga block in one of your stretching session but I can’t retrieve it, does that ring a bell? A suggestion would be to add the prop if any as a tag of the video so we can retrieve it easily… 2) I have also included strength and core training into my weekly routine, how often would you recommend to do these to see results? For now, I do 1 strength and 1 core weekly and run 4 times per week… thanks again… how was your run Ash 😉??
Perfect! So glad I could help you. Thank you for commenting 😊 great suggestions. 👍🏻 I would recommend strength training 20-40 minutes two times per week if you could. It’s great you run 4 times so I would say do a strength session on 1 non-run day and then another one on a shorter run day. 😊🙌🏻

Well done for doing the 2 strength videos today 🙌🏻😊❤️
Hi Ash, just love your videos, every time I run, I systematically end up with one of your several stretching, so thanks a lot for what you do for us… I have 2 questions for you though 😊…1) you have included a foot stretch with a yoga block in one of your stretching session but I can’t retrieve it, does that ring a bell? Not a challenge but thank you!
Well done William 🙌🏻😊
How often should this be done and should it be on the days where we aren’t running?
I would say strength train 2 times per week. Once on non-run day and then once when you have a slightly more intense run, combine it ideally to keep the intensity 👍🏻😊
Thanks Ash!😊
Thank you to you too Grace 🙏😊
