- After sailing 3000 miles across the Pacific Ocean from Mexico to the Marquesas islands, we hear about a secret 200ft waterfall buried deep inside the jungle...
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!!

Cool. Good to see Dave wide awake. So a little back of the envelope... most jumps took about 1.33 seconds, at 9.8m/s^2 that would be a height of 8.7 m (28.5 feet) terminal velocity 17.4 m/s (34 knots.) I once jumped 14', so half this and I didn't want to do it a second time.
And still in nerd mode, last week I happened to look up that sensitive fern. mimosa pudica I've been shown them in California in the San Gabriel Mountains. it's not native here, or in Polynesia. it's from the Caribbean and Central America. Great to see some of you guys this week in L.A.

It's always emotional to be on land after a long passage at sea, i know that a lot of the sailing community will envy the crew you had put together collin, they were just the best you could have i believe, i as an ex skipper know the value of a well balanced crew, if one blows out heat too often it surely impacts the whole group, thanks collin and crew for this incredible adventure that i have been able to follow as if i was on board with you guys, be sure to bring a lot of this footage during the Indianapolis boat show and air it as much as you can, this is a passport to access happiness, freedom and a new way of life that possibily won't be possible in 20 years..as Collin says..20 years from now you will be more dissapointed by things you didn't do than by things you did. Looking forward to next week.
