ලංකාව සමීපයේ තියන ගෝත්‍රිකයින් ජීවත් වෙන දූපත | North Sentinel Island

ලංකාවට ඊසාන දිශාවෙන් බෙංගාල බොක්කේ කාටවත් යන්න තහනම් දූපතක් තියනවා කියලා දන්නවද? ඒ දූපතේ ඉන්නේ සෙන්ටිනල් වැසියන් කියලා හදුන්වන ඉතාම භයානක ගෝත්‍රික පිරිසක්. දූපතට එන පිටස්තරයින්ව මරා දමන එක තමයි ඔවුන්ගේ පුරුද්ද. අන්තිමටම ඔවුන්ගේ ගොදුර වුනේ ඔවුන්ට ක්‍රිස්තියානි දහම කියලා දෙන්න ගිය පූජකතු‌මෙක්. මේ දූපත ගැන සහ ඒකේ ජීවත් වෙන ගෝත්‍රිකයන් ගැන දැනගන්න මේ වීඩියෝ එක ඉවර වෙනකල් බලන්න. අන්තිමටම මම අහන ප්‍රශ්නයට ඔයාලාගේ අවංක පිළිතුර බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා.
North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands, an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal which also includes South Sentinel Island. It is home to the Sentinelese, an indigenous people in voluntary isolation who have defended, often by force, their protected isolation from the outside world. The Sentinelese have repeatedly attacked approaching vessels, whether the boats were intentionally visiting the island or simply ran aground on the surrounding coral reef. In 2018 an American Christian missionary, 26-year-old John Allen Chau, was killed after he attempted to make contact with the islanders.
