This is Dave's best solo. It almost sounds like it's Marty... until Marty plays... then you'll realize it was Dave.

Marty Friedman is the only one who can pull off a solo that sounds 100% EXACTLY like the studio version solo

4 years later but it's not acoustic...it sounds like an unplugged electric guitar though it is just a clean channel.

Easily! Dave apparently wasn't in the mood for firing anybody from the 1990 to 1996-97 time period. His band, though, has almost had to have a revolving door, so to speak. Peace sells...but who's buying? (1986): Dave, Dave Ellefson, Chris Poland, Gar Samuelson. So Far...So Good...So What! (1988):Dave, Dave Ellefson, Chuck Behler, Young (Sorry:I forgot his first name!). Rust In Peace (1990), Countdown To Extinction (1992), Eunthanasia (1994), Cryptic Writings (1997). Dave Mustaine, Dave Ellefson, Marty Friedman, Nick Menza.
Peace Sells for me. Chris Poland is smoother then Marty is. Jazz had a more interesting influence on Megadeth then this lineup. But it was good too. It was REALLY good.
For some reason as a kid listening to the solo at 3:21, I think is the funniest of all guitar solos.
Because the song is thrash and the solo is bluesy
its one of my favorite parts but it really shows how talented marty is without distortion

This is an mazing song, Marty's solos are masterpieces. For me the best Marty's solos in Megadeth are in Countdown to extinction album, even better than Rust in peace album. Here he plays a little bit more technical, more chromatic scales, blues scales. Genius!
Marco Ferrito Captive Honor is BY FAR his most under rated solo. It absolutely rips, and comes out of fucking nowhere
The thing that stands out for me is Junior's bass line's.

Отточенные рифы, просто огромная скорость, Переходы от быстрого к медленному. А гитарное соло просто разрывало мозг, особенно в конце. Спасибо большое :-)

Has 0 to do with what brand of guitar daves using. Has 100% to do with the production in studio and how the amps are setup for live gigs
It also has to do with the fact that Dave used passive pickups in the 90s. If he used the same pickups in his guitars now it'd probably sound clearer.
@@billpilling5725 Wrong my friend, all parts of the equipment play their role in how the sound will be... Strings, pick ups etc etc... Even the wood of which the guitar is made of.
At the end is the artist who decides how the sound will come to our ears.

I race motorcycles, this song is dedicated to all my crashes. One time it was said I looked like a comet, or a dirt torpedo…. 90+ mph leaving the track to go flipping and sliding through the dirt

AMAZING performance. This show in Alpine Valley 1992 and the one in Milton Keynes in 1993 are my favorite ones. How come we don't have the WHOLE Milton Keynes show in video?
