I love when music has a meaning to keeping us awake to the madness of the world. Alot of today's music is about highlighting themselves and their success while the world is kind of burning in the backround. The cameras are pointed away from the madness and towards celebrities in a narcissistic way that distracts the youth away from real issues. The most relevent music, movies, and old writings are in fact very old for the country and world runs on old plans and prophetic tales sponsored by the global financial elitists in such clubs as WEF that actually have control over every country. It's their esoteric occult agenda and their mystery religion came out of ancient Babylon having something to do with Minerva, Moloch, and Lucifer where everything is flipped in reversal like Orwells 1984 in a brave new world.

My old band covered this in the 80's. It's still one of my absolute favorites to play and completely relevant in 2023. Literally one of their best IMHO.
That bass line hits the sweet spot. Megadeth cranked out one great song after another but this song along with "rust in peace" "hangar 18" and "symphony of destruction" became the bands anthem!
God, I love how cuttingly snarky this whole song is. "Whaddya mean I'm not kind? Just not YOUR kind." And of course the "This IS still WE, the people, right?" "This IS the news!" Depressingly, still true in 2022.

I just noticed that they flashed every flag, every religious denomination and the peace symbol, but the only currency symbol they showed was the American fiat dollar. Dave knew the truth even back then.
To quote the current event taking place as of now, the fifht of november 2024. " If there's s new way. I'll be the first in line. But it better work this time!" (Mustaine, 1986). It better damn do work this time, or we are screwed.
The fact that for all political systems claiming that they want peace, war and destruction are main source of economy and political unity. Dave Mustaine pointed it very poignantly.
Not for socialist countries of the past, they didn't have capitalist economy, private corporate interests. Soviet Union expanded influence for the sake of expanding influence (of socialist ideology) it didn't profited from wars, it didn't have private military industrial complex, it was all state owned (and remain so even in today ultra capitalist Russia)

Exactly why DAVE RULES
Exactly why DAVE RULES
A lot of bands from the 80s that had songs like these still remain relevant
tell me something it's still we the people rite????? as constitution is burning. that's some powerful stuff. and this was years ago. and the interaction with the kid and dad.
now we need to get you to spell right?
chris zaa last “rites”/loved to deth ;)
Dad was played by Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys
We the people... not the bankers and corporations ...
Couldn't be more relevant today
The most relevent music, movies, and old writings are in fact very old for the country and world runs on old plans and prophetic tales sponsored by the global financial elitists in such clubs as WEF that actually have control over every country. It's their esoteric occult agenda and their mystery religion came out of ancient Babylon having something to do with Minerva, Moloch, and Lucifer where everything is flipped in reversal like Orwells 1984 in a brave new world.
My favorite metal song... Absolutely love it, especially the segment that begins at 2:34
Kid is wearing a Slayer shirt watching a Megadeth video.

man his riffs are pure bliss. Thanks mom and dad for making me the 80's kid.
A song almost 30 years old, and more relevant today then ever. Mustaine is a genius, and Megadeth is the most punk rock metal band there is.
How could a genius like that not end up with his own band
I think Megadeth is obsessed with found military footage
And close ups of mustaine's mouth
@@lunahetfield LOL
the scenes...of that A-10 Thunderbolt II...streaking at low level...masturbatory militaria .... omg so fucken cool

dude you just blew my mind
+idiotshow325 There's actually quite a few of them... Dave noticed....
+idiotshow325 Well, Mustaine was originally part of Metallica. He may have been unintentionally paying honors to his last band before Megadeth.
+Enjoying The Sun 577-Jersey Customs I like Megadeth but Dave not a great singer
I noticed that the first time I ever saw this video way back in the day.
I appreciate the hell out of Dave's truths.
You know the golden rule.....he who has the gold makes the rules.
This music never gets old
Say whatever you wish about Dave, the man is talented AF.
Dave Mustaine was really a beast in this one.

1:25 Chris Poland intentionally plays a “sick goose” version of “Ohh say can you seee” which fits right in with the lyrics 😂
I feel bad for Megadeth fans with epilepsy, they can't watch this masterpiece
B.s. I watch it
@@Duck_Dodgers but pay for it afterwards.
Not true; fortunately for me anyway xD

Superbeast by Rob Zombie is worse. I just don't get how they think these effects are good in any way.
2:26 wow, that's some Oscar-worthy acting right there. somebody give this man a medal.
great song tho
I kinda teared up at that moment.
Fun fact: That's Jello Biafra, ex-lead singer of Dead Kennedys
I don't think so.

That bass line hits the sweet spot. Megadeth cranked out one great song after another but this song along with "rust in peace" "hangar 18" and "symphony of destruction" became the bands anthem!
I’m obsessed with Dave’s jacket
God, I love how cuttingly snarky this whole song is. "Whaddya mean I'm not kind? Just not YOUR kind." And of course the "This IS still WE, the people, right?"
"This IS the news!" Depressingly, still true in 2022.

This is the most 80's music video I have witnessed.
She Don't Know Me - Bon Jovi
+Sorthalis You clearly don't watch a lot of 80's music videos. As far as Metal goes, you're gonna need something like Motley Crue, Dokken, etc. As far as general music, definitely Michael Jackson.

We have Megadeth, Metallica, and Slayer shirts... Anthrax in there too?
I wish.
+Nicholas Guerrero Anthrax never gets any love in these Big Four conversations :(
+Cristian Hernandez (Chris181912) - I think there's a subset of metalheads that are still mad at them for the Out of Time album.
honestly, testament should be in the big 4 instead of anthrax
+Green Man i actually agree with that, but if it wasnt testament, possibly Sodom would be in the big 4
My friend showed his niece who is 18 born in 2005 don’t even try to listen to this type of music or even try to learn the meaning of it just listens to hip hop and holding a gun, it just shocks me how social media fks them up their brains up ! And they wonder why there’s so much going on the world 🌍
I've always loved Dave's snotty vocals on this song - it gives the song that extra something you just didn't hear anyone else doing. A+
I just noticed that they flashed every flag, every religious denomination and the peace symbol, but the only currency symbol they showed was the American fiat dollar.
Dave knew the truth even back then.
After 27 years, it still sounds awesome.
That line bass of the beginning totally gives a big eargasm
What I find concerning is how eerily relevant this song is to this very day. Hell, that goes with a lot of Megadeth’s songs.
Relevant once again.

One of the best rock songs ever recorded.

30 years later ....STILL sounds badass !!!!
Still talking with God every day
This song probably more relevant in 2022 than it was when released in 1986.
It was 1984 we been listening to Megadeth.l I was twenty years old. Still digging it.
To this day; sadly holds true…
And Megadeth is still spilling the news
